Turkey Rueben

I tried the Rueben sandwich with turkey instead of corned beef. It was really good. I actually really like Arby's marbled rye. It goes well with the turkey and sauerkraut.

I wouldn't normally review major chains, but these stores are normally independently owned by franchisees, so wanted to praise the particular owner, manager, and staff of this specific location. I came in on a weekend around noon, and all of the staff from the person who took my order, to the person who handed me to the food, to what seemed like the shift supervisor/manager gave an overall great experience. It was refreshing change compared to other chains I've been to recently, including McDonald's, which was average at best and the worst being Burger King, the Tustin location, (see upcoming review for more detail). The food was fast and delicious, we got the 3 for $8.99 Classic Roast Beef, very filling a good value. The tables and the bathrooms were very clean. And I was most impressed that the supervisor/manager wished us a great day with a smile as we were leaving. It's rare these days that you get this level of experience at a chain nowadays so when I find this, I have to commend the operations and people.

I very seldom do reviews for fast food because I'm so selective and minimal in the type of fast food that I eat; however I've been wanting to re-visit Arby's for some time now. Today I decided to try the Sweet and Heat Beef and Brisket Meal and decided to try the Blueberry Lemonade in which they said I could get at an extra cost. Now I didn't really have a problem with paying extra but I was sad to see that the drink was not comparable to the size of the normal soft drink that goes with the meal and was very "tinty"! Now my main point to this review is that I think it's important to give my thoughts on a $12 fast food meal. What I did appreciate is that the fries were hot and the sandwich was fairly good; a little spicy if you don't like too spicy food. I just don't think that I finished my meal to conclude that this meal was worth me spending another $12; just my opinion.

This was my first time visiting the Foothill Ranch Arby's after living in the area for several months. I thought the service was good. They acknowledged me immediately and had my food ready from my mobile order when I walked in. The dining area seemed larger than usual for an Arby's, and I tried their new cheeseburger as part of a BOGO deal. The roast beef sandwich is better, but free food is free food!

Garlic ribeye sandwich

Tried the garlic ribeye sandwich and it was so bad, I couldn't finish it. It was riddled with gristle and it didn't taste good. I'd def never order this item again. Had to go somewhere else to eat after this because after two bites, I threw it away and was still very hungry. It's just not good.

Please bring back the potato cakes, the potato wedges or whatever they're called! We paid over $30 for two extra beef sandwiches. Because we asked for extra beef. But somehow they seem to way over charge. They were very nice, the food was delicious but why is the price so high!

Ordered the salad and the Olivich sandwich with meat. I noticed several customers going up to the counter to check on their food, so figured they were pretty overwhelmed but after waiting 40min for 2 items, and getting no follow-up from a gentleman who said he was going to check on my order (I saw him leave instead), I asked them to cancel my order. The guy told me to give him 5 min. to get it done. I was happy to get my food 10min later! This is where my disappointment happens.... After waiting 50min for a salad and a sandwich, they forgot to put the dressing in the bag and according to the menu, the sandwich should have been on a baguette but it was on more like a French roll. Tasty, but I love baguettes which is why I ordered it. Maybe a "I'm sorry" piece of baklava would have made the experience a little better? Next time I will turn around and leave if they are really busy. Better to go on a slow night.

The Persian style pizza was the star for me. It had the perfect balance of crispy crust and savory toppings and tasted super fresh. I also tried the fresh squeezed carrot juice and it was so bright and refreshing. You can tell they actually juice it to order. Their salads and wraps are great too. Everything tasted clean and flavorful which is hard to find when you want something that feels a little healthier. They also offer hookah and the outdoor setup is really chill. It makes the whole place feel like the perfect hangout spot whether you're coming for food or just relaxing with friends. Overall a great mix of good food good vibes and friendly service. I'll definitely be back.

We got there at 8:30 pm, and they were already cleaning up, so we asked if they were still open before we ordered. They were so kind to let us order our sandwiches even though they were cleaning up the kitchen. We love their Dutch crunch bread so much so we bought two loaves to have at home. They made the sandwiches quick and we took ours and ate it in the car. Hubby got the whole Baja Cheesesteak with Dutch crunch bread and the meat was pretty red and the sauce was a bit spicy. He enjoyed his sandwich and his free cookie. I got the Sammie French Dip with Dutch crunch bread and the meat was too red for me. I like my meat cooked a little more, so I decided to wait to cook it more at home. The dip had a horseradish flavor which was too strong for me, so I will probably not eat it. I loved my free cookie! I really liked the Mr Pickle sandwich last time so I will definitely try another cold sandwich next time. I can't wait to make sandwiches with the Dutch bread we got!

The side salad that accompanied the plates was a fresh, tasty touch that I really enjoyed. For my drink, I went with a Matcha with oat milk--while you can't control the sweetness level here, it was still a very enjoyable cup. There is indoor and outdoor seating - we sat outside and enjoyed the greenery. That being said, there were two specific areas where I think they could improve, especially given the premium price point ($18 for the Tamago and $15 for the Pork): * The "Soft" Boiled Egg: The Tamago sandwich is supposed to feature a soft-boiled egg, but mine was definitely hard-boiled. It was a bit of a miss on the execution for an $18 sandwich. * Service Timing: The Pork sandwich arrived well before the Tamago. Since the Pork is a warm sandwich, I had to choose between eating ahead of my party or letting the food get cold while waiting 5 minutes for the second plate. It would be great to see better coordination so all mains arrive together. Bottom line: The flavors are definitely there and the quality is high. I'd certainly come back to try more of the menu, though perhaps as an occasional treat rather than a regular spot.

The matcha is a bit expensive, but it is rich, earthy and creamy - you can definitely taste the quality. (I run here when they have occasional matcha discounts) Other honorable mentions include the teriyaki pork sandwich and cold brew coffee - which I think is from Mameya. Beware that it gets insanely busy during the lunch hour, even on random weekdays. The online ordering system and baked goods pre-order is extremely helpful, since the pastries often get sold out before noon.

As new parents out and about with a baby, the kindness and genuine hospitality made the experience even more special. This is truly a hidden gem. When we did, they didn't allow any modifications (which I kind of get, it even said it on their menu) but if I am paying $20 for a sandwich I would hope I can modify it. So this was the upsetting part. After they took our order, it took tab out another 30-40 minutes for the food to come out. They did check up on us, but what can I say? So it's a bit confusing as to why making a few sandwiches takes over 30+ minutes. The bread was good, but not worth $20. My tuna sandwich had very minimal tomato + lettuce. The pastrami sandwich is good, meat was flavorful, bread was toasty. Just sucked that the food took long and it is overpriced for some sandwiches. Edited: While we were there, another customer asked if he could sub something, so it wasn't just myself that felt some way about not being able to sub something. I did enjoy the scenery, I thought it was a nice little getaway away from Irvine. However, I think anywhere where you have to wait 30+ minutes for food especially for a sandwich, it is upsetting. Whether it's a small business or an established one. These are just my honest opinions unfortunately.

I'm so serious when I say this, this breakfast burrito might've been the best breakfast burrito…read moreI've ever had. I'm someone that loves food tripping and breakfast burritos are something I eat often, but this one was other-worldly. The custom pick of protein, the cheese, and jammy sunny side up eggs inside, the crispy tater tots, and the tenderly crunchy griddled tortilla; it was incredible. And if you think I'm overplaying how good it is, then your loss; you don't get to try it. Anyway besides how good the burrito is, service is great! They made my food quick and were attentive to the things I needed. The inside is nice and there's good seating inside, maybe not enough for a big party, but there's a couple two-top tables and a bar seat counter (no bar, just bar counter). HIGHLY recommend! I've been living in RSM for the past couple years and I have zero clue how I'm just finding out about this. Gem alarm!

**This review is only for their breakfast burrito**…read more CK's cousin introduced us to this place while we were visiting town because she said it has the best breakfast burrito in the OC. CK & I were a bit skeptical, but we were surprised. Definitely one of the best breakfast burrito's I've had in the OC - especially when fresh! Made with your protein of choice, sunny side-up eggs, tater tots, pico de Gallo, cheddar cheese, and a flour tortilla - I ordered it with chorizo and CK ordered with steak. The steak are thinly sliced - not carne asada style like I assumed, but it was still good. My favorite had to be with the chorizo. Everything in the burrito was well put together and created a good balance. I think the star of the show in the burrito was the tater tots because they're the perfect crispyness and I think it's what the tied the breakfast burrito together. The breakfast burrito comes with a side of salsa verde, but there are additional condiment sauces above the trashcan. Definitely coming back for more when I visit!
