The red onion and crispy onion strings really gave the whole sandwich an oomph. The horsey sauce confused my brain, but it was cool to try something new. I'm guessing it's some mix of ranch and horseradish? It reminds me of sour cream. The meat really reminds me of 99-cent Buddig deli meat, but maybe because it's such a struggle meal that it was comforting to me. I took advantage of Arby's $1 shake with purchase meal deal they have going on through Arby's Rewards. I originally wanted to get curly fries but with the coupon I had to spend at least $10, so I decided to try their new Pulled Pork BBQ Sandwich with curly fries and a chocolate shake. I would definitely try this new sandwich again! The meat and barbecue sauce tasted REALLY good! Their curly fries were on point. I wouldn't normally review major chains, but these stores are normally independently owned by franchisees, so wanted to praise the particular owner, manager, and staff of this specific location. I came in on a weekend around noon, and all of the staff from the person who took my order, to the person who handed me to the food, to what seemed like the shift supervisor/manager gave an overall great experience. It was refreshing change compared to other chains I've been to recently, including McDonald's, which was average at best and the worst being Burger King, the Tustin location, (see upcoming review for more detail). The food was fast and delicious, we got the 3 for $8.99 Classic Roast Beef, very filling a good value. The tables and the bathrooms were very clean. And I was most impressed that the supervisor/manager wished us a great day with a smile as we were leaving. It's rare these days that you get this level of experience at a chain nowadays so when I find this, I have to commend the operations and people. read more

I very seldom do reviews for fast food because I'm so selective and minimal in the type of fast food that I eat; however I've been wanting to re-visit Arby's for some time now. Today I decided to try the Sweet and Heat Beef and Brisket Meal and decided to try the Blueberry Lemonade in which they said I could get at an extra cost. Now I didn't really have a problem with paying extra but I was sad to see that the drink was not comparable to the size of the normal soft drink that goes with the meal and was very "tinty"! Now my main point to this review is that I think it's important to give my thoughts on a $12 fast food meal. What I did appreciate is that the fries were hot and the sandwich was fairly good; a little spicy if you don't like too spicy food. I just don't think that I finished my meal to conclude that this meal was worth me spending another $12; just my opinion. read more

Wow! I tried their crispy chicken sandwich for the first time, and it far exceeded my expectations. In my opinion, it's right up there with Chick-Fil-A for the best fast food crispy chicken sandwich. The chicken is fresh and sizable. I also am a fan of their basic roast beef sandwich. The two sandwiches are very contrasting in style. One is processed meat; the other is fresh white meat chicken. So, even if you're not into their roast beef sandwich, you should give their crispy chicken sandwich a try. It may blow you away. Of course, their curly fries are always great. read more

To be fair, I've ordered from this Arby's many times in the past, and usually they are very good. But not last night. Ordered a couple of sliders and the Brisket sandwich. All of the buns were so stale, I could barely chew them. My friend ordered the Gyro without tomatoes, and it came with tomatoes. The buffalo slider also had no buffalo sauce on it. By far, the worst meal I've ever ordered from them. I'll likely give them another chance, and their past history is why I gave them 3 stars. I've already reviewed arbys but I have to review this specific location to shout out this delicious peach tea and my friends David, Jesus, and the sweet lady who packages and takes orders. I can never get a clear view of her name tag- but I believe her name is Patricia . She is the sweetest gal ever. They are all so nice every time I go. David always takes my insanely long orders and never messes them up. If you don't like arbys you're a terrible person. If arbys ever goes out of business I'll never stop crying . I've been eating here since I was born. I also got 6 roast beef sandwiches as you can see in the picture. Everyone at my work loves arbys. Online order for pickup. Very simple: Reuben Sandwich, Greek Gyro. No special orders, instructions. Went to pick up, asked for extra horsey sauce for the Reuben and Gyro Sauce for the Greek Gyro. Assuming all was well drove 9 miles home. Turned out they gave us someone else's 'special order' ultra bland turkey gyro without red onions. Apparently the staff can't read orders. This is a pretty good Arby's but they are suffering from a worker shortage. We had to wait a bit longer than normal to order but the order came out quickly and accurately. They have a large dining room and one of the bigger single person bathrooms I've ever seen. This comes in handy when commuting or when on your way to or from San Diego from LA. As of July 2022, the dining area is back open which makes it a great place to stop and get your Arby's fix and use the restroom. Pretty easy on and off the freeway even though they are on a hidden side street. But, there's a Honey Baked Ham, a McDonald's and a gas station on the same street so you have other choices. The only thing I don't like about Arby's is that the entire chain removed the potato cakes. I know they probably were not good for you but they were definitely good for my taste buds. The crinkle fries are okay but not as good as the potato cakes were... If you time it right, they will have a special running. When we were there, they had the two normal roast beef sandwiches for $6. Pretty good deal. They have also added sliders that are just around $2/each. So pick a few and enjoy!!! read more

A few weeks ago I received a coupon for a free milkshake at Arby's. One of those coupon papers they toss onto your driveway. Normally I throw those into the trash but the photo of the milkshake looked so delicious I decided to keep that one. Then on a blistering hot summer day I decided it was time to take that coupon to my local Arby's and get a cold chocolate milkshake. I checked to make certain it hadn't expired and hopped into my car and drove there. I hadn't been to an Arby's in a long time and a bit of fast food with that creamy milkshake was going to be the highlight of my day! They have a drive-thru but I excitedly walked in and gave my order. "Im sorry, our milkshake machine is broken." Waaa Waaa Waaaaaaaa... Words I have never heard before in my entire life of fast food visits. I was there so I got some food - roast beef and cheddar sandwich with curly fries. The sandwich was bland even after dumping some horsey sauce on it. The fries were oddly equally tasteless. What this place has going for it though is cleanliness. The interior is spotless - one of the cleanest fast food places I have ever been in. And certainly not contaminated by milkshakes! I ended up going across the street to one of their competitors for my milkshake. They always make a great one and they've never broken down. Sorry Arby's, the coupon worked to get me to come in but the draw for me was the milkshake. I must've known I messed up because I decided to even give Arby's a shot given their awful reputation, but I was cautiously optimistic & the food looked somewhat good on the DoorDash menu so we gave it a shot. Big mistake. HUGE mistake. This location is awful. I'll divulge more into why this place is awful & you should just take the extra 10 minute drive down to the Hat. Simply ordered lunch for my husband and myself from this specific location via DoorDash & when the DoorDash driver arrived to pick my food up, they called me to inform that The restaurant was closed to the public, and it was only doing orders via the drive-thru, and that they never "received any DoorDash orders" despite the fact that my account was charged within 2 seconds per usual and customary. didn't receive my order... come on. So the DoorDash driver says they refused to make my order because they "did not receive it" if they did not receive it, why would it say that they started working and preparing my order as well as have their restaurant on DoorDash.. it makes no sense. I felt so bad for the DoorDash driver, I told him if he would stand by for a moment, I would try to call the restaurant, and I asked the driver to inform the restaurant that I would be calling, and I called 15 times. 15 times, on two different phones. They refused to answer the phone and I believe they were even forwarding the phone calls, the DoorDash driver informed me that they were not communicating with him regarding DoorDash orders, and refused to even entertain the fact that they had a DoorDash order, or even try to resolve the issue, they told him to make an order for himself and pay upfront or leave. Huge waste of my time, huge waste of my money, huge waste of the DoorDash drivers time and money because he drove out there to get such a BS reply & attitude from the staff. This was so insane, and unacceptable. Do not order from this location from any third-party delivery app, they'll probably mess it up. And it's one thing to mess up an order, but it's the way that they handled it, or lack of that just blows my mind. I am completely shocked and dismayed at how unprofessional and awful this establishment handled one single order at least an hour remind you before lunch rush, to be courteous, and they still completely fail. read more

I ordered the new Bacon Ranch Wagyu burger tonight at this Arby's along with my wife's meal. I ordered at the counter for takeout and took the order and drove home. They did not include the sandwich in the bag. I know these things happen, but this was the manager waiting on me (according to the receipt). I mistakenly trusted her to get my order complete and correct. I drive all the way back to get this corrected. When I came in she acknowledged that I was there before and even alluded to the missing sandwich. There was no offer to refund my money, just a "do you want anything else?"comment. I asked for two turnovers in addition to my sandwich. She of course had only had one turnover available. I then watched them "cook" the burger. This consisted of taking a tray of 5 or more pre-cooked burgers and grabbing the patty, putting a slice of cheese on it and putting it in the microwave. They then prepped the bun and added the microwaved burger and wrapped it up. I took it and angrily left. It bugged me and I wanted to let someone know what had happened. There is no feedback method listed on the receipt and a QR code that went nowhere. That left Yelp as my only outlet and here it is. I will not go back to this Arby's and will consider boycotting all Arby's based on this interaction. Not a happy person because of their reaction. read more

This place has been my go to for cheap fast food. But I didn't expect the quality or quantity of the food. Love going here because it a quick stop when I have to run errands around the area. The lady working there is super nice and attentive. Most of the staff there has always been friendly considering most fast food I go to, the staff look like they don't want to be working. They took a little longer to cook my chicken sandwich, so they informed me of the wait and the lady offered me ice water while I waited. Now that's customer appreciation. This place has gone downhill and food and customer service/manager is terrible. Don'tknow if new management or what. Burn, dry cold fries and dried out gyros with no sauce and no flavor. We asked for sauce and we're told we had to pay for extra sauce even though they forgot to put any sauce on it in the first place. We complained to the manager and she was very rude and did nothing to make it right. She said the fries were fine. Uh no, they were cold and dried out overcooked. I've had them before and know what they should be like. As for sauce, she said we could have asked for sauce. We told her more than once we did, even when she was present, and she heard the cashier tell us the manager said to charge. She just shrugged and walked off. Crappy customer service at this place. Recently I visited Arby's on Foothill Ranch (at Portola) and was very disappointed about two issues, which I know is the prerogative of each franchise owner to do, but nevertheless, it did bother me a bit. The first is that they discontinued the delicious and always preferred "Potatoes' Cakes"...just like McDonald with the original tasting "French Fries". The other disappointment was that they cancelled the "seniors" discount an insignificant 10 percent of the order, yet, well accepted as a gift to society. Arby's does not offer any discounts to Police, Firemen, or the Military and neither to us old Veterans. Again, is not the AMOUNT that is sought here but their intent of honoring those who fight and/or fought for our freedom in our great USA. read more

Me and wife working just minutes away from here often come here for lunch from work. The service is friendly although often slower than it should be and the pricing is decent for most things but still a tad on the high side overall. Always ask about specials as they usually run one or more promotions at any given time that can save you significant money. The roast beef is always coked nicely, the fries taste great and the turnovers are fantastic for a fast food place. Can you get these food items at other places that taste better and have a higher overall quality yes, can this be said for other fast food establishments I am not sure.
