I saw a promo for 20 wings for $20 and couldn't pass it up, especially since you can select between boneless or bone-in! When we got to the restaurant, the staff let us know the promo was only available through the app, but they were kind enough to mark my order as "for here" so we could still dine in. We went with Cajun, Louisiana Rub, and Lemon Pepper wings, plus added fries and two crispy tenders. I used to swear Wingstop had the best fries, but I think they may have changed the recipe recently; they weren't quite the same. On the bright side, the tenders totally stole the show! I had gone to surprise my girlfriend with her favorite food, Wingstop for her birthday, but after I had gotten the food and opened the package to surprise her at home, we were very displeased to find only 5 wings in our 6 piece sets. Quality/Quantity: We got the mild heat, barbecue, lemon pepper. The mild heat were so good. Barbecue were okay but nothing special. The lemon pepper were aaaammmmmaaaazing for sure! Size of wings are a good size. But the addition of ranch was a bit disappointing given the small size provided. Ambiance: Seems like a nice and clean restaurant. By far this Wingstop is the WORST! Sadly, it's the one that all the delivery services default to where I live. in my family of five, we order Wingstop at least three times a week. We LOVE Wingstop - just not the lake Forest location. We often order it late at night and without fail our orders come incorrect or not the way we requested. The worst part is they are horrible at seasoning. We always order extra fry seasoning, but the fries come naked. We order hot honey rub - the wings are naked. Does the person seasoning the food pay for it??? Additionally, we never cook well done even if you check well done it's just the worst location. First time at Wingstop. Staff was very friendly and helpful and greeted everyone who came through the door. Staff explained the sauces and made good suggestions. We got a 20 piece boneless meal and chose Lemon Pepper, Garlic Parmesan, Mild and Hawaiin. All of the sauces were good. Nothing was oversauced at all, which was nice. Chicken was cooked perfect, not overcooked. There was no grisle in the chicken at all. The ONLY thing that we didn't like was that they charge for ranch. WHAT??? It's a wing place. Ranch and Blue Cheese are part of wings. $1.65 for a small helping of Ranch? Ridiculous. I don't know if that's normal for all Wingstops, or just this location. The fries were very good. BUT. But the young lady at the cash register was not inviting at all, did not smile. And when she did, it was simply when I was the one who asked her how she was doing and waited a few seconds for her response. And then the other gal they called out my order, was also rude. Come to the store same day for a redo 2. This is a good place for wings and drinks! We were a party of two and we stopped there around 5:30 pm on a Friday. It was not crowded at all, but they did have tons of takeout and delivery orders (UberEats, Doordash). The food was decent, it was actually a bit better than other wingstops that we have been to. Wings were really good, not too crazy greasy that after 3-4 wings you don't want anymore! And we also had the fried corn with lemon pepper seasoning.
