There's a large variety of flavors so I opted to try the Fire Wings (actually wasn't spicy to me), Saigon, and Garlic Parm. All three were very good and very different. First time here for their free new chicken tenders promo. The promo came with chicken tenders, fries, and a drink. My family and I tried their Chicken parmasean, Dragon, and Peanut flavor. The flavors were okay, nothing too spectacular. The chicken parm didn't have too much of a strong flavor, tasted more like an original. The Dragon flavor was like a soy glazed base, but after the second tender, it got too salty. The peanut one was okay too, without the peanut toppings on top, can't taste too much of the peanut. The tenders had a nice crisp, not too heavy of a batter, and the chicken itself wasn't too dry. I got side of regular fries and seasoned fries. Definitely opt for the seasoned ones if you like the Cajun kick! As for the drink, they have two fountains of soda and lemonade you can choose on your own. Staff were friendly and helpful in helping answer questions. There were posters on the wall promoting their weekly promotions. The ambiance was nice too, a few tv screens playing football with plenty of natural light coming through. My kids and I was hungry so we found that this place open late. I thought I was going to a regular Buffalo wings place but when I saw all the flavors that they have I was blown away!! Self-serve soda station with free refills. Service was efficient. A bit of a wait for my order but worth it because my wings were cooked perfectly! The service is good and the location is large so you can bring a good amount of people, but the actual food being mediocre makes it not worth coming with that large group. My favorite wing flavor out of the four I've tried so far is buffalo stampede (classic), followed by lemon pepper (dry rub), original buffalo (classic), and Louisiana rub (dry rub). Stampede is very flavorful, and it's spicier than original but doable for someone who generally can't do spicy like me. Lemon peper was surprisingly delicious - tangy and only mildly peppery. The wings themselves were nicely sized. Quite juicy on the inside yet still crispy on the outside despite being drenched in sauce or covered in seasoning. I feel like they're a bit pricey, but then again wings nowadays are rarely sold at under $1 a piece unless it's a daily special or during happy hour. The original buffalo chicken sandwich was so satisfying with the thick, deep-fried chicken. It comes with cheese, lettuce, and some more of that original buffalo sauce. It's definitely a heavy meal, so it would be filling enough on its own as a handheld lunch. Staff were patient with our order, and food came out within 15 minutes. I like that they're also on top of cleaning the tables. Interior is open with plenty of sunlight coming in, and there are TV screens for watching games. read more

me and my friends decided to die near one night and they both got their orders before I did and then they actually went out and brought out the orders to my friends. Meanwhile, I was sitting in the dining room. Just waiting to see if my order was ready and we were waiting for a while and I go up to the front and I'm like oh my goodness my wings are actually at the front like that's so weird. I didn't see it at all because it was literally just left at the front counter for I don't know how long but my friends were given their wings instead of having to guess when they were ready so they got them when they were still hot. so we're all waiting in the dining room. I'm like OK. This is actually taking a really long time. I wonder what's going on so I go up to the front and then I see my wings there I picked them up as soon as I picked them up, one of the employees says oh by the way, we're closed and I was like OK that's fine. Whatever like I'm not gonna dine in later than your closed and be annoying about it. Anyways, I go to try my wings and I got garlic Parmesan flavor and they were wet soggy overly salty disgusting, I'm actually upset that I waited for expensive wings that I didn't like to eat, and then I was told to get out basically by an employee after they never told me if my order was ready or not like what the hell and then my friends were literally eating in front of me while my order was ready inside the restaurant while they were still open, and I didn't even know because they only gave my friends their order and they didn't give me my order. We came here for some after work drinks and food. Our group sat outside and enjoyed the evening while we ordered pitchers of beer. We eventually ordered some food. We a wings from a couple of flavors and they were all great. I would also say that the beer selection is also great here. There is table to eat outside for big groups. The dining room is also of a good size to hang out in. The food comes out quick for a busy evening. Overall, not my first choice for wings but still a good experience having dinner here. After the Fire Wings closed down in Fountain Valley (I still wonder why to this day) we've been coming to the location in Irvine to get our wings fix. Love the wings here! So far the only item that we order. It's a pretty vibing spot here especially when there are games going on. If you order in person, there is a wait for the times I have gone they have been pretty busy. So I try to place my order online for a bit of a quicker pick-up. Customer service has been A-OK. Youngings... I don't have much to say other than that it can be better improved. Our most enjoyed flavors are: Lemon pepper, Cali Rub, Thai Chili, Saigon street, Korean Kick and BBQ Chipotle. We always get it "Extra Crispy" - this is a must especially if you got wings that are coated with the sauce. Seasoning and flavors are spot on yummy and the wings are juicy! Fire Wings is a super solid wing spot. IMO definitely better than the other spots. The only con I have is that the take out are packaged in Styrofoam. Not environmental friendly and doesn't biodegrade. Not the biggest deal but I hope they will change it in the future. read more

I am by no means a wings connoisseur, but I am, however, a working class citizen who was just ripped off, and I think others deserve to know. We ordered 15 boneless wings, 3 flavors, veggies and one sauce to dip. $28 for everything, including one drink, tip not included. A high price for what we thought was worth the impressive depth of flavors. The Peking Duck sauce, a favorite of mine that usually leaves each wing dripping in sauce that coats my fingers and stains my lips and tongue, was barely on the five wings. In fact, about half of the wings weren't even fully covered in the sauce. The outside of the wing that was supposed to be a wet wing was dry as a bone. The second flavor, salt and pepper, was another favorite of mine. This is a dry wing, and I usually am hit with an intense pepper flavor with a lemon-y salt punch to follow. Today, unfortunately, I feel like I got a plain wing, dry as the desert. Disappointing lack of flavor. The third flavor was my wife's, Thai chili. I can't honestly speak to it as my wife is an angel who saw how disappointed I was by my order that she said hers were great and she had no complaints. So who knows, maybe those were fine. She did mention that they were a lot less spicy than they used to be. Finally, the size of these "wings" was insulting, close to the size of a large grape or a generous lychee fruit. I recognize that the visual of bone-in wings is going to appear larger just due to the fact that it's mostly bone, but this was just ridiculous. Call it popcorn chicken if you can't generate enough chicken to make it appear large enough to be called a wing or a strip. I understand inflation is hitting us all really hard, but this is just highway robbery. What a disappointment all around. We won't be coming back here, which is a shame because this place was worth the price just a year or so ago. Whatever changed, change it back. Good lord. read more

No lie they have some of the best wings around! I'm a huge fan of Wingstop but Fire Wings has better flavors in my opinion. I've only tried 4 of their flavors so far but I plan on trying them all with time. They have a great wing Wednesday deal for $0.95 per wing! If a flavor on their menu sounds weird or interesting then get it, you probably won't be disappointed! My favorite so far is probably Saigon Street. Can't complain about the service, they usually get the wings out pretty quick unlike Wingstop that takes 18 minutes to get your wings. I'd say this is comparable to Wingstop in terms of "offerings". Can choose from bone or boneless with a large assortment of flavors and fries as well. I'd suggest looking at their flavors on their website because they have a LOT of flavors to choose from. I got the Saigon street (had fish sauce flavor), Malaysian curry, and Louisiana rub. I enjoyed the first two greatly, and maybe it was my palate being coated with those two first Asian flavors that I found the Louisiana rub lacking. The "seasoned" fries also lacked flavor tbh. However, for as many times as I have ordered from this restaurant they have consistently up-charged for things like extra crispy wings, extra seasoning etc. and for some reason they consistently fail to provide the customizations after paying. On top of that it appears there would be no quality control efforts with whom ever prepared my meal today to allow the wing in the photo that appears to have been scorned to the bone and lacks any extra seasoning. I went on the website to order some wings. I scrolled through the payment section and hit cash app to see what the price would be. Two minutes later I got a confirmation of my order is ready. I called the store to ask why my order was ready so quickly. I was told it wasn't ready. I asked them to make them extra crispy. I was told that I could not make any modifications because I made it through DoorDash. That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard in my entire life. I often go there for wing Wednesday because the wings are very good, but I'm never going there again because I can't have it my way, when I'm spending my money. If there is such a policy, it needs to be changed immediately. I eventually got in touch with DoorDash and they refunded my money, but I don't recommend anybody dining at a restaurant that won't cook food the way you like it.
