We went through the drive-thru at the Lake Forest, CA store, thinking it would be fast and easy to get the "4 for $4 special" on Wednesdays. It was a good deal, until we received food that looked like it had been dropped on the floor, picked up, then wrapped! These are pictures of what my wife and I saw when we opened up the wrappers. Simply gross looking! Not taking any chances that they may have been dropped on the floor. We threw the dogs in the trash. I sent a complaint on the Wienerschnitzel website. A Mr. Gonzales replied that "all locations are independently owned and operated." He said he would forward my concern to the franchisee."That was it. The store never reached out to apologize, not even a peep! Apparently, the corporate office and the store do not give two s**ts about customer satisfaction! Is Wienerschnitzel so specialized and large that they are not worried about competition in the marketplace?? It is not about the 4 Dollars. It's about the restaurant and the corporate office taking responsibility for the poor quality product!

The Wednesday 4 for $4 is too good of a deal to pass up. Wienerschnitzel chili cheese dogs always hit the spot

Ordered 4 chili cheese dogs. It was more onion than chili and I got 4. Very disappointed.

They offer dine-in, drive-thru, and online ordering for pickup or delivery. Excellent options! There is always parking. Restaurant looks clean inside. The cashier lady has always been very kind and funny with us. So is the manager when he is available. When we come here, it is usually around 6:30 pm. So the restaurant is not busy at all. Our order is ready within a few minutes. My wife loves the jalapeño poppers from here, I usually just go for the mini corn dogs.

Went to the drive-through, drive-through was fast the fries are nice and hot, friendly greeting order was correct. What more can I ask for, I'm just glad that they're down nearby our house !!!

Do you ever drive by a place 1000 times and never stop? I don't know why I stopped today, but I'm glad that I did. For the uninitiated, there's three dogs here. All beef, Polish, and blend. The dogs come in a bunch of different forms: corn dog, Chicago style, sauerkraut, chili. They also have fries. And shakes. That's all I have to say, it's not the highest quality but you get what you pay for and prices are reasonable. It's pretty tasty, and I'm gonna say something controversial: these thousand island fries that they have are better than the animal fries at In-N-Out. They have a lot of the same ingredients. Thousand island, cheese, fries. But these come with chili as well, and that takes this to the next level. Drive-through was courteous and efficient, answered all of my stupid questions with patience!

While most reviews are centered around the wieners, this one is about ice cream. Ice cream? Yes, this is a Wienerschnitzel - Tastee Freez location so this is about the Tastee Freez side of things. The interior is dated and has a 1970s feel. I walked up to the register and my order was taken by a smiling young woman brimming with enthusiasm and positive energy. She was working both the drive-thru and the front counter, dashing back and forth. I ordered an M&M sundae with caramel sauce. It was very inexpensive. My treat was ready quickly. The soft serve ice cream was what you'd expect at any fast food joint. There were a few mini M&Ms on top and more in the bottom of the small cup. She was generous on the sauce which was the best part of the sundae. I'm sure kids would appreciate this far more than I did.

12-23-19 Update :-) I received really great service this morning. I arrived at around 9:30 am, thinking this is when they opened. I was let in early and allowed to order. They actually open at 10:00 am. After receiving my food was told where the condiments were located. Food was excellent and the quality of their food has been consistently good. I also posted a pic of their operating hours.

I noticed several customers going up to the counter to check on their food, so figured they were pretty overwhelmed but after waiting 40min for 2 items, and getting no follow-up from a gentleman who said he was going to check on my order (I saw him leave instead), I asked them to cancel my order. The guy told me to give him 5 min. to get it done. I was happy to get my food 10min later! This is where my disappointment happens.... After waiting 50min for a salad and a sandwich, they forgot to put the dressing in the bag and according to the menu, the sandwich should have been on a baguette but it was on more like a French roll. Tasty, but I love baguettes which is why I ordered it. Maybe a "I'm sorry" piece of baklava would have made the experience a little better? Next time I will turn around and leave if they are really busy. Better to go on a slow night.

They made the sandwiches quick and we took ours and ate it in the car. Hubby got the whole Baja Cheesesteak with Dutch crunch bread and the meat was pretty red and the sauce was a bit spicy. He enjoyed his sandwich and his free cookie. I got the Sammie French Dip with Dutch crunch bread and the meat was too red for me. I like my meat cooked a little more, so I decided to wait to cook it more at home. The dip had a horseradish flavor which was too strong for me, so I will probably not eat it. I loved my free cookie! When we did, they didn't allow any modifications (which I kind of get, it even said it on their menu) but if I am paying $20 for a sandwich I would hope I can modify it. So this was the upsetting part. After they took our order, it took tab out another 30-40 minutes for the food to come out. They did check up on us, but what can I say? So it's a bit confusing as to why making a few sandwiches takes over 30+ minutes. The bread was good, but not worth $20. My tuna sandwich had very minimal tomato + lettuce. The pastrami sandwich is good, meat was flavorful, bread was toasty. Just sucked that the food took long and it is overpriced for some sandwiches. Edited: While we were there, another customer asked if he could sub something, so it wasn't just myself that felt some way about not being able to sub something. I did enjoy the scenery, I thought it was a nice little getaway away from Irvine. However, I think anywhere where you have to wait 30+ minutes for food especially for a sandwich, it is upsetting. Whether it's a small business or an established one. These are just my honest opinions unfortunately.

I'm someone that loves food tripping and breakfast burritos are something I eat often, but this one was other-worldly. The custom pick of protein, the cheese, and jammy sunny side up eggs inside, the crispy tater tots, and the tenderly crunchy griddled tortilla; it was incredible. And if you think I'm overplaying how good it is, then your loss; you don't get to try it. Anyway besides how good the burrito is, service is great! They made my food quick and were attentive to the things I needed. The inside is nice and there's good seating inside, maybe not enough for a big party, but there's a couple two-top tables and a bar seat counter (no bar, just bar counter). HIGHLY recommend! I've been living in RSM for the past couple years and I have zero clue how I'm just finding out about this. Gem alarm!

Made with your protein of choice, sunny side-up eggs, tater tots, pico de Gallo, cheddar cheese, and a flour tortilla - I ordered it with chorizo and CK ordered with steak. The steak are thinly sliced - not carne asada style like I assumed, but it was still good. My favorite had to be with the chorizo. Everything in the burrito was well put together and created a good balance. I think the star of the show in the burrito was the tater tots because they're the perfect crispyness and I think it's what the tied the breakfast burrito together. The breakfast burrito comes with a side of salsa verde, but there are additional condiment sauces above the trashcan. Definitely coming back for more when I visit!
