I had a very disappointing experience at the Jersey Mike's on El Toro Road today. First, I specifically asked about the sandwich size and was told that the Giant was a 12-inch sandwich. After being charged for the Giant size, I later learned that Jersey Mike's markets the Giant as approximately 14-15 inches. The explanation I was given was misleading and influenced my purchase decision. Additionally, I was charged for extras that were either barely included or not included at all on my sandwich. The amount of meat and cheese was noticeably sparse, especially considering the price paid. The sandwich did not reflect the portion size or quality I expected. What made the experience even worse was the customer service. The employee at the front counter with dreadlocks was rude, dismissive, and seemed irritated by basic questions about the menu. As a customer, I expect to be treated with courtesy and respect, especially when asking about pricing and product options. Overall, I left feeling overcharged, misled, and disappointed. I hope management addresses both the customer service issues and the inconsistency in portioning so future customers have a better experience. read more

Hit or miss, buying sandwiches here! I love their club sandwiches always, but I tried their Philly cheese steak one day..Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed, because there was hardly any meat in it, I asked for it really to be baked in oven, so its gooey, with extra mayo and cheese..For 36.00 ( a regular sandwich) I didn't get crap! Ill never order that again!! If im desperate enough, and i need to Uber Eat a club sandwich I might.. Shout out to Mathew, Asher, and the rest of the team today. I visited around 2:45pm and ordered the Big Kahuna Steak sandwich and the chicken salad sub. Upon my questioning regarding the new chicken salad sub, i was told they were out. The crew was super kind and asked if i wouldn't mind, they could make some fresh for me. Just a 15 min wait. No problem! I was soo appreciated. Everyone here is the best. The chicken sandwich was amazing!! This is my new favorite! I've been here to this location a couple of times and each time it has been very nice, clean , and organized! the workers are always helpful and prepared. Good quality sandwiches here and they come out perfectly thanks to the great employees ! I love that the meat and cheese are cut fresh for each sandwich here, and you have to get the Mike's way because it adds that juice and flavor to the cold subs. The food is great! Normally, I wouldn't make a review but I felt really off put during my recent visit. When I went up to order (mind you I'm the only physical customer), no one said anything and finally the staff looked up and I didn't know what to do so I just started ordering. He said nothing the entire time and looked upset. When he passed it on to the toppings, that staff member also just ignored and mikes way? He said it like it was a bother to him. Went to get a tuna fish. They started making my sandwich, and the lettuce was brown. I pointed out to the young lady, making the sandwich that the lettuce was brown. I asked her if she had any green lettuce. Luckily, there was another bin behind her but they should not have brown lettuce That they are serving customers. I don't understand what is so confusing about lettuce being green. I'm not saying just a little brown very brown. If you're going to pay that much for a sandwich, at least have fresh product. I ate at Jersey Mike's Subs on 23572 El Toro Road in Lake Forest. This is the first time I eat at this location. The place was clean. The cashier was nice and friendly. The manager allowed me to take the photos. I ordered: the #7 Turkey Breast & Provolone Sub Meal with potato chips and a Diet Coke. sandwich; turkey, provolone, tomato, onions, lettuce, pickles, vinegar & oil. A very good taste. I drank a Diet Coke to balance the meal. For dessert: I ordered Three Chocolate Chip Cookies; They were tasty. I thanked the manager for letting me take photos. I went outside to take more photos.
