Staff are friendly and the restaurant is very clean. Now I haven't been here in a long time and man has it changed since COVID. You can't get the sauces you want and can only get 2 if you order a mini and the mini used to be bigger too and the price went up. The food is still delicious as I remember it but I think they need to allow more than 2 sauces or bring back the sauce bar again. At least they have happy hour M-F and on weekends. They've expanded their menu a bit too which is nice and I like that. I'll probably go again and ask if I can pay for extra sauce since I can only get 2. I didn't get any napkins or a fork with my food either. read more

There is something so simple and so delicious about Flame Broiler. I ordered the chicken bowl with rice and veggies and I added some tofu as well. In this economy, the price was reasonable for a good sized portion. Super filling with a hearty portion of protein. I ordered online and my order was promptly ready for pick up! read more

So disappointed): this location usually gets it right but today I was definitely let down. It's 3pm and I haven't eaten since 9am because of work so I went to get my fave and it was ruined by the veggies I specifically said I didn't want. So I spent almost $16 on my bowl and had to give it away. I was already back at work when I realized and should've checked before I left but I guess I just had too much faith in them. Check your food before you leave guys. Or you'll waste $16 on food you won't be able to eat read more

We usually order in but the food is good, generous portions and reasonably priced. We really enjoy the fresh hummus also.

Amazing customer serivce , always give me my food fast asf. Food cooked to perfection shoutout the cooks.

Placed a online order as I was commuting through town. Arrived 30 minutes later to find out my food wasn't even done and there was staff standing around chatting. I PAID EXTRA for white meat chicken with no sauce and didn't check my bowl as I was going to eat on the go. Once I got to my destination and opened my bowl, I realized I got sauced-to-the-brim I mean HEAVY sauce regular fatty chicken thigh. Very disappointed. read more

Very disappointed! I ordered three large bowls of rice and chicken. Sad to say there was very little chicken. The ratio of the rice and chicken was ridiculous. I must say I hadn't been there for a while but today I was craving it. I truly regret it I missed the chicken. read more

I have been hearing about Flame Broiler for sometime now. Even though it is not too far from where I work I had not tried it until last night. One of my friends asked me to go there and I am so glad she did! The food was delicious!! I had a mini bowl with no rice, all veggies, with the half and half Chicken and Angus beef. It was yummy and a perfectly portioned meal. I tried the red hot sauce and it really put some flavor on it. Because I loved it so much, I went back to have dinner there again tonight! This time I got the mini bowl with no rice, all veggies but only the Angus beef....no chicken. The beef is so tender and delicious. I also tried the hot hot green sauce this time instead of the red sauce. Get ready for some serious spice with the green sauce. But it was delicious too. I can't decide which hot sauce I like better! So if you haven't tried this place out, do it! You will not be sorry! read more

Yooo forget panda or the that one place at the mall flame broiler is one way better no cap. The food is really really good here trust. The beef, fire. I usually get half and half and add some magic sauce on top to make it even more dank. Also don't ever forget the hot sauce. The workers there always kind. Tbh the only thing that sucks about this place is the parking. read more

Honestly we love flame broiler but this location is not the the best. I noticed that the prices are higher than the one on gosford. I wanted extra sauces and they wanted to charge for it, when the one on gosford has all the sauces on self serve. If you want better prices and cleaner place go to the one on gosford way better and cheaper by far. Customer service is great at this location that's about it. read more

This place is like a hidden gem. I've seen it and their images make them look like any other teriyaki bowl place, which isn't a good thing... But keep reading to see why I think they're absolutely worth a try! My husband said he had some during work and he really liked it so we gave it a shot. Well, I was shown what a great teriyaki bowl can be! Their meats were well-seasoned and very tasty. The vegetables were cooked just right so that they were tender but with a slight crunch. Yum! Plus they have options of white or brown rice as well. What can make this great meal even better? Their so-called Magic sauce and hot sauce!! I get as much as I can of each and cover the meat. The teriyaki sauce is tasty and not thick and goopy like other places' sauces tend to be. The hot sauce is spicy but almost sweet at the same time. Oh so good! Their ultimate plate is so much food too! Their bowls are enough for a filling, healthy meal. They've never skimped on the meat. It's not just a bunch of rice with some meat. It's some rice with a bunch of meat. Just how I like it! If you haven't given them a shot yet, you definitely should. This location may be small but it definitely works. Enjoy! read more

This place is great! If you are looking for a nutritious, lean, affordable meal, Flame Broiler is the place for you! My BF and I are trying to stick to a healthier diet and are typically pretty indecisive about where we want to eat, so he brought us here for dinner. It was empty when we entered so there was hardly any wait, even for our food (which was awesome because we were super hungry). My BF ordered a plate with extra veggies instead of a cabbage salad, white rice, and tofu. I got a regular sized chicken bowl with white rice, all white meat chicken (which costs extra), and all the veggies. He ate his meal with the hot hot sauce (a jalapeño sauce) and I had mine with the Magic sauce (a sauce that tasted a lot like teriyaki). I loved the hot hot sauce but it was waaaay too spicy for me. The Magic sauce is what I went with for my bowl. I have a feeling I will definitely be a frequent customer at at least one of their locations. Their food is just too awesome to pass up. It is simple, yet filling and satisfying. I would highly recommend this place to anyone on the fence about trying it. Thanks, Flame Broiler! read more

The food is great. I love flame broilers! But the workers here just walks around chit chatting. Not only that. A customer went to use the restroom. And the workers decided to gossip about her. My prayers have been answered. For the past couple years, my coworker and I have wished for a teriyaki bowl place to open near us and I believe we have just found a new favorite lunch spot. Clean and simple, chick or beef, over rice, with a little broccoli and carrot. The meat and veggies were cooked perfectly and the teriyaki sauce was...teriyaki sauce. Very yumm. read more

The best Flame Broiler! I come here for lunch maybe twice a week & the girls already know me & always have my food ready super quick! Best customer service. 5 stars!!! read more

This place offers a light healthy option for dine in or take out. Everything is fresh here, the chicken, the beef, or the tofu. The meats are tender and juicy, the tofu firm and tasty. I like the way they cook the vegetables, the veggies are still firm, not overcooked like some places. There is a drink bar with several carbonated Coke products, and a tea dispenser with four flavors of fresh tea. The staff is friendly, the place very clean, food is served fast. They have a nice little bar for hot sauces and some other sauce, forks, straws etc. This area is always clean and orderly. Parking is a bit tough here. Prices are reasonable. Flame Broiler is a very consistent chain. read more

this place gets a zero out of 10, the worst customer service that I've ever felt in a fast food restaurant in my life, there are employees don't listen to special orders therefore, I'm allergic to certain things, and they allowed it to get into my food, good luck with this place. I would suggest going to another flame broiler location. I love the restaurants but this one's bad. read more

I told the cashier it was my first time here; and that I needed a lil time as I was still looking at the menu. She proceeded to point to the sizes of the bowls. I ordered a tofu bowl; the rice was yummy & the tofu needed a little more cooking. The sauces they have aren't good. The hot sauce tastes more like Tabasco and the black sauce is in between a soy sauce and sweet flavor. Not sure if I will be back;might try out a different location. read more

I love flame broiler! I have been a frequent customer here for the past 2 years. It is a convenient location for me since I work right across the street. If you are looking for a healthier option, this is it. you can manage if you would like to keep away from grains with substituting for all veggies and if you are a vegetarian, there is a tofu option available! The sauces are really good, magic sauce is like a teriyaki mixed with soy or something, red is like a buffalo sauce, and the green is spicy! Packaging of the bowls are pretty nice. I like to be a little more green friendly and I save the bowls to use when I bring my lunch to work. I put them in the dishwasher no problem, they are also microwave safe :) ill be coming back here for sure! read more

I found hair in my food.. I was disgusted. I surely did not finish my meal. I did not have problems with this location previously; however, the cashier was a bit rude and was practically talking over me after I put in my order. If I'm telling you my order it would make sense to listen instead of asking me what I want in my bowl after I stated it before right? I haven't had great experiences here. read more

Man. Flame Broiler is just one of those places that nails the concept of "less is more" with a super simple menu. (Like In-n-Out for example) The menu is simple. The food is fresh & healthy and I've always had great customer service at this location, even in the crazy hustle and bustle lunch hour rush in the Stockdale/California area. My favorite and go-to dish is the chicken veggie bowl with brown rice, and lots of extra green onions. A side of their delicious magic sauce & tangy hot sauce go a long way with amping up the flavor profile of the bowl. It's good on its own but when you mix everything together and all the flavors collide - something magical happens! Haha Flame Broiler is my go-to when I need a light but filling quick lunch. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu! read more

This location is charging extra for extra sauce. I remember before, we were able to grab our own without extra charge. I was given 2 tiny cups and charged 50 cents for another tiny cup. The cashier said its because they have to put it together. Isn't that part of their service? Anyway, im all about supporting local businesses and 50 cents isn't much, but for this it isn't right and it is alot. The tiny cup is not worth 50 cents. I am sure I won't go back and rather take my business to a restaurant that is FAIR. read more
