He said he doesn't usually like sweet & spicy sauces but this was really good. It wasn't super spicy, but had great mango flavor with a kick. I chose Breath-stankin garlic parmesan. It's probably one of the best sauces I've had in a while. Just the right mix of flavors without being overly potent. Some places have too much grease these were great. The service was kind, curious & FAST. We were greeted when we ended. Before leaving the cashier asked us how we found out about stupid wings & if we knew the specials. We told her how we found it. We talked for a few minutes about the sauces. She was very kind. While we were there a homeless gentleman came it, without hesitation she gave him a cup for water. We asked if he needed food, she said he gets his fries. It was really nice to see her treating him with dignity & kindness. I wish i had gotten her name. I was also offered another sauce and I chose blue cheese. The stupid fries are indulgent and very filling! The fries were crispy, the chicken tenders were juicy and delicious, and the macaroni and cheese was very rice and creamy. I didn't taste the garlic Parmesan sauce yet everything was delicious! I was over here by happenstance and it sucks that I'm not on that side of town often enough to give this place a second try anytime soon. The sauce in the Nashville is similar to cane's sauce, but with a slightly better kick. Definitely had a good crunchy bite. I need to find a way to come back so I can try the Stupid Sandwich! I bet the mac and cheese could mellow out the spice so I could probably try and push the spice level. I may have done myself a disservice by not getting the wings. I got here around the 5pm rush hour and the service was quick. For a first-timer, the front-counter person was super friendly, let me try a couple of sauces out and was very patient with me as I asked questions about special pricing on Wednesday Wings ($.99ea) the wall decor is nice, stick figures everywhere with quirky sayings. They do have high-chairs for the kiddos, and the gender-separate bathroom was not clean, and when I went to throw away my trash, it was very full. As for the food itself, the Thai Chili wings were crispy to a little overcooked (started to brown in the middle), but their sauce was tasty, reminding me of the Thai sauce from BWW's. The star of the meal were the fries and the Stupid Sauce. The crinkle fries were cooked perfectly, and had seasoning salt on them. So much better than the regular table salt. If you get the fries, get the Stupid sauce. If you've been to a Raising Canes, Zaxby's or Jack's, you know about their house sauce. The Stupid sauce has a little more kick than those. Absolutely loved this place! We were on the east side and were getting Hangry! Took a small drive and spotted Stupid Wings. I remember seeing it a few times on Yelp and quickly swooped into a parking spot. My first observation is the mess that is the Mister Car Wash! WTH?! Is this place the only car wash on this side of town?! I seen about 4 close call accidents in 10 minutes! Back to the restaurant...once you get inside it has the cutest stick figure murals all over every wall! Even on the fountain soda machine. The menu is pretty easy to understand and doesn't offer too many items. The lady at the register was super sweet, friendly and informative. I decided to try out the Stupid Wings with the lemon pepper flavor and the hubby went with the Nashville Hot Chicken Sammich (medium stupid level). Our order took about 15 minutes but that is ok with me because at least you know it's fresh. Everything was delicious! I ended up asking for extra special sauce for my fries and a side of pickles. My review is based off a single visit on wing Wednesday where the special is 99 cent wings in batches of 6, 8, or 10 (the 6 piece only comes gets dressed in one sauce). Food was made fresh and a little more than just average. Wings were a decent size without breading. Sauces were average. A 3.5 star review that will get rounded down secondary to the service. Staff needs to be properly trained as they seem miserable giving off horrible vibes and you feel like you are being rushed when ordering despite there being no line. Stupid Wings was a surprise. A good surprise. Came here one evening on a whim, and was incredibly impressed. Ordered their mac and cheese dish with fries and chicken, and loved it. It's all my favorite components in one messy dish. Hand me a fork, and I'm a happy girl. If it wasn't for the fact that this is across town, I would be here more. My first time visiting this place at the recommendation of a few of my students. I am a teacher at East High nearby. My first impression, I love the name. Catchy, funny, and good for branding. My second impression: very clean. I appreciate clean lines, monochromatic paint with a touch of red, and clean flooring. Aesthetically pleasing for sure, and no clutter (less dust accumulation inside the restaurant makes for a sanitary environment). Now to the food: I got a "Kinda Hungry" combo with chicken tenders as opposed to wings (I know, I know). I brought my food back to work so I didn't want to leave chicken bones in my waste basket. I picked the Spicy Momma BBQ sauce, and it was served with fries and a drink. The lemonade was running out of flavor, so I had to get a Diet Pepsi. I needed a little caffeine anyway, but the manager was pretty quick to start changing out the Lemonade. The tenders were made well, but kinda soggy. Next time I go, I'll ask for the sauce on the side. Overall not bad, only a -1 star for the soggy tenders, and because I couldn't get 2 bbq tenders and 2 Buffalo tenders. Sometimes going to a new restaurant is like beta testing software and that's especially like ordering from Stupid Wings. One obvious feature they're missing is an online menu! I witnessed multiple people taking pictures of the menu as I waited for my order. I ordered about 60 dollars worth of food and it took about 40 minutes to get. The order was mostly right but one of the orders of wings was bone-in instead of boneless. The good news is that the flavor is there and everything comes out warm and fresh. Stupid Wings offers a variety of unique tastes that should cover all preferences in your party. There is plenty of heat but some flavors seemed spicier than their scale would lead you to believe (e.g. the spicy BBQ was definitely hotter than the habanero). If you're worried that their tenders are just some garden variety Sysco strips, you'll be pleased to find out that these modest chunks of boneless chicken appear to be cut and breaded in house by folks who certainly understands chicken. You'll be limited to Pepsi drinks but there also is Dr. Pepper (regulary and diet) as well as syrups if you're feeling adventurous and possibly reckless if you'd like to combine a ton of heat with a ton of sugar. There is lots of younger staff and I suspect some of them might be working for the first time, so this rating is on a curb. The place has a lot of potential and I applaud any business that opens during a pandemic. I will definitely come back and try some other items like the sandwiches. read more

Was on the Eastside yesterday & had a BOGO coupon. We ordered the Nashville chicken sandwich & an order of fries, extra crispy. I ordered my sandwich Mild & hubby ordered the medium. We were both very impressed. The sandwiches had a very generous chicken breast that was huge & very flavorful. Loved the slaw & pickles! It is def worth $10. The fries could have been a little bigger serving for their price but they were seasoned great & crispy as we requested. I went for the lemon pepper and the jerk flavors and good golly missy Molly there were amazing. The lemon pepper is legit pucker sour I loved it and there was plenty of flavor and the jerk flavor might be my favorite wing sauce I've ever had. Huge hit, earned a longtime customer. I really want to rate this place higher, but 3 stars is generous in this case. I love supporting local business and will likely try this place again in a few weeks to see if our visit was just a fluke, or just a new business working out the kinks. I hope the next visit is better. Positive: great value for the amount of food. The "I'm with stupid" comes with fries and 2 drinks which is a great deal. We also enjoyed the stupid fries, though it did seem like an odd combination of items in one dish. The staff was friendly and courteous, and the place was clean even though it was mildly busy. Negative: if I had to guess, I would think the wings we had were either boiled or baked at a very low temperature. The meat was cooked, but the fat and skin was not rendered, leaving a very soft and unpleasant texture as if not cooked enough. I'm currently pregnant, and have to be super careful with undercooked food, so the undercooked skin was a big deal breaker for me. With the sauced wings we got (bbq and mild) the sauce didn't adhere to the wing at all, dripping off and leaving little flavor behind. It's odd because the garlic parmesan wings were clearly cooked well and had better flavor. I'm hoping for a better experience at my next visit. We need more local places on the east side! read more
