I didn't care for the mac n cheese but my husband devoured it, leaving me no more to even try and like it. It was too plain for me. Loved the bread on the sandwich. Alright, only honest reviews never bashing! This location isn't that bad, yes the staff could be more friendly but the food is still great in my opinion! The location on Gosford Rd beats this place in a long shot in customer service. I started coming to this location because it's on my way to work and the Angry Mac bowl is outstanding . I was asked to do a review from the employee David. And I told him I will leave a review but it's gonna be brutally honest...he said absolutely please do. When I arrived at this location the doors are "EXTREMELY" hard to open...please someone fix this issues and I felt like once I entered I was not greeted at all....but I figured out what it is. When you walk in there is a fly fan at the top of the doors and it blows strong air, so that it keeps the flies out and you can not hear the employees greet you, but they do. Now there are different staff that help at times and some are friendlier than others. But some of them are just there to get through the day... This is the second time I've come to this location and as always their food and their service is great. But honestly if you cannot handle any type of spice at all then just order the country style which is zero spice so it's just as crispy chicken sandwich with the coleslaw and the sauce. Also note that while these are called chicken sliders, yes the bun is small, think of Walmart's brand of hamburger buns small, but it is a huge chicken tender and one of these sliders is a meal unto itself. I decided to come and try this place with my daughter who's been begging to go. The mural on the wall is such a nice touch. It was cool to see the beautiful Fox theater and Bakersfield sign with the Fast and Furious twist. The bright red chairs bring a nice pop of color to the restaurant as well. I ended up going with the medium spice level Mac n cheese bowl for the hubby and the mild spice level angry fries bowl for myself. My daughter got the combo #2 and she ordered the combo #1 for her sister who didn't come with us. It should be noted that when I ordered the medium spice for the hubbys bowl, the worker informed me that the medium level has ghost peppers in it. My hubby always orders the medium heat so I thought nothing of it....until he took a huge bite of his bowl and about passed out before he even finished chewing lol. He swears I pulled a prank on him and ordered a high level of heat. He only took a few bites of it and pushed it away. My bowl was good but I wish I would've not gotten the coleslaw. Nothing against their coleslaw I'm just not a fan of slaw.
