Asada burrito ($12) and Tacos ($3 each)

The bar we went to had a closed kitchen so we resorted in snagging some grub from this truck! Tried: -Al Pastor Burrito ($12) -Carne Asada and Al Pastor Tacos ($3) each -Side of Guac ($2) - small. Everything was so tasty! The Al Pastor had a nice sweetness to it as Al Pastor should.

Looking for a late night meal and went to two places that were supposed to be open but were closed and locked, which led to this taco truck. I was surprisingly pleased as the reviews initially made me hesitant. The prices are the main problem here as each taco is $3, so they're relatively high. However, they do have a lot more meat options (6 total options) including beef lengua (tongue) compared to the cheaper tacos that focus on 3-4 classic meats. Got a few tacos and a quesadilla. Meats were all very good but what separates this place from a lot of others is the tortillas. They're fried in grease so they're more greasy, but the best part is the crisp crunch that comes along with the tortilla. This is the case for both tacos and quesadillas, probably including everything else as well. The crispy outer layer of a shell enhances the entire taste. The additional grease also helps, but maybe it's a bit too greasy. I really enjoyed the quesadilla but I'm not sure if I'd justify the $12 price point. Four pieces of a semicircle that are perfectly crispy, cheesy, and greasy along with a generous amount of sour cream and some lettuce, the quesadilla felt pretty well made. It took quite a bit longer than the tacos which is to be expected, but the end result was delicious with stringy cheese as I pulled each piece apart. Again, the price point was the drawback here as I can get more quesadilla for less at other places, so then there's a matter of quantity versus quality which is an argument dependent on the day. Overall a great stop for late night tacos or other Mexican foods whether it's for a late night snack or a meal. When you're craving some munchies, you just want to eat but the greasiness here can be beneficial as well as the fact that each layer of the foods (tortilla, meat, cheese if applicable, etc) are made with care and consideration.

The food here is so delicious. They're quick (waited 3 min for 3 tacos) paid 13$ for the food. Would recommend

This is the best spot for late night tacos in Fremont. They never let me down! Quick service, perfectly greasy tacos, cheap prices, and late night hours, what more could you ask for? My go to order is one chicken taco and one lengua taco. Really delish!

Extremely slow, subpar food, and overpriced. Do yourself a favor and go to the El Camion taco truck up the street!

The chile verde pork is so good, my wife, who primarily orders vegetarian, goes for all their variations, quesadillas being her favorite. This weekend is Valentine's Day, and while I am not with my beloved, George and Erika shared a sample of their new menu items, chilaquiles (heart shaped for the holiday) - both chili verde and chipotle. The other item was a stack of tres leches pancakes, with fruit. While all were delicious, I liked the chipotle chilaquiles the best. Good enough to make me consider mixing up my wet burrito with salsa macha in the future. So, we just came back from Playa del Carmen Mexico, where we hoped to have some over the top Mexican food. While breakfast was great it wasn't enough to outshine Fire Tacos. A waiter at one restaurant summed it up well. Everyone in Mexico makes good food, but the best of the best succeed in the US. It's so fresh and the flavoring and garnish is on point. Service was friendly and efficiency. As soon as the waiter turned away after he took our orders, the nachos showed up. The vibe is fun and loud like a usually Mexican bar/restaurant. It was a nice and warm day on Alki, an area always so crowded and can be overwhelming, on any nice warm sunny day. My daughter asked if we can try Fire Tacos because her bff said it was good. We showed up asking for a table of 4 and were told the wait is about 20 mins. We walked to Ben & Jerry next door and had a small ice cream, sat down and finished it, then got notification our table was ready. It earns a spot on my list to return, especially we live 5 mins away.

There was no clear line for online orders or ordering in person and the environment was chaotic and unorganized. I told the gentleman my name for the order and he said we're still working on it while walking away from me. I was told to step aside and waited over 30 minutes as I watched other folks order and grab their food in a timely manner. After some time, my food that was sitting on a shelf was given to me. Upon coming home and opening my food, I found that it was lukewarm and nearly cold. In addition to that, my order was wrong. Their phone number does not work so I had to come back in person to communicate their errors. They remade my food and gave me free chips and guacamole, but that doesn't change the fact that I wasted over 60 minutes of waiting and driving back and forth for a simple order of tacos. An incredibly frustrating experience for food that I actually like and enjoy eating.

let's just say that this filled me up with so much food i didn't eat for the next 22 hours…read more for the price (only 12 dollars) that's a ridiculous portion size where to even start these seemed to be soft tacos, but with a full melted cheese covering on both sides of the shell i would say that's my only slight disappointment - that these weren't really crispy at all - there was no real crunch when i would bite into one of them - rather it was just slightly harder than a soft taco the cheese did add a great flavoring to the outside though - making this more than a normal taco shell each taco was absolutely overflowing with stuffing - it got to the point where the plate became another full meal by itself from everything that fell out of the taco the two main components of each taco were the cheese and the chicken the cheese was so perfectly melted - may have been the best cheese in a taco i've ever had it created such a satisfying cheese pull every time you took a bite - and it was one consistency throughout, meaning every time you took a bite you had to pull the cheese away from the rest of the taco - which was just fantstic as for the chicken - i was slightly disappointed that it wasn't spicy in the slightest. However, it still tasted like it had a really nice flavor, and had a soft interior. It being actually spicy would've moved this dish up a lot, though each taco was primarily made out of this chicken - and there was so much of it it was practically insane - but I loved this amount shoutout to the onions as well - they were great I asked for the habanero sauce - which i thought was ok - wasn't spicy at all and didn't add much flavor. will go with another sauce next time tried mixing in some taco bell fire sauce which was interesting i love that these came wrapped in aluminium foil to preserve heat. a great touch overall, as far as taste, these were pretty good, but when you consider the amount of meat you're getting, along with overall portion size - it's simply a fantastic meal.

I knew going in that I had to try their carnitas, but it was the other dishes that impressed me the most. The quesabirria was top notch. If you haven't had one before, it's as if a quesadilla and a taco had a beautiful baby - and the tortilla is dipped in the sauce that the meat is cooked in. The cheese is plentiful and delicious, it's a blanket that I've to take a nap in. I was a bit thrown off by the chunks of birria, most places shred it up. But I would say that it was much more juicy than the shredded version, I was blown away. This comes with some awesome roasted jalapeños and onions. The carnitas taco was excellent. For a street taco, they load it up with meat. It's a very traditional taco, so just carnitas, onions, and cilantro on a tortilla. But if you have the opportunity to eat here you should, they have an extensive taco bar with everything you need. The star of the show for me was the tostada de camarón. You just don't get them like this elsewhere in Seattle. Shrimp, mango, jalapeño, and avocado are all diced up to provide even distribution on a crunchy tostada. It's an exquisite bite every time. And there's a sweet sauce on it that makes the whole dish blend together so well. Carnitas Michoacán is a MUST visit if you're in the area. There's also a little market and carnicería next door that has some incredible food if you're making Mexican dishes at home, or if you just want some massive chicharrones.
