I have had Flaherty's out now to my house to do two significantly large porcelain tile flooring and fireplace stone jobs; one was done the Fall of 2021 and the other was done the Spring of 2022. Both times I worked with designer Amy K. at the store. Very pleased with the selection and choice options at their Grant and Louetta store and also impressed with the installation itself. I can't say enough of how happy we are with our new floors from Flaherty's. They take really good care of their customers and try to do what's best - from budget, to style, and questions/concerns. They are helpful through every step of the way. We unfortunately had issues with our original floor (not their fault), but they came back and chose to help us to replace it! Flaherty's did all of our flooring after we bought a fixer upper. I was uncertain in what we wanted for our "new" house and met with Tara. She came by to see the home and then had me come back to the store for selections. The very first item she showed me was absolutely perfect. Tara and I kept looking around the store but I kept going back to the first tile. She has a great eye for design and she communicated so well during the entire process. We needed to get the carpet in the master bedroom replaced due to some damage from our dog, and came to Flaherty's mainly because it was close and well reviewed. The whole process was very easy-all staff were friendly and professional from Scarlet, the salesperson, to Patrick Flaherty, who came to measure, to Rebecca, who scheduled the installation. I used The Woodlands store. First off I've had them out for 3 different jobs over the past 2 years so I have a lot of interaction with their sales office and installation team. You won't find a more experienced person to measure and guide you through the purchase that Dave. The hard part was getting my wife to pick colors. He did the rest and made things go super smooth. I had my entire upstairs (3 bedrooms) including the stairs done with carpet and tile floors in the bathroom and the guys finished carpet in one day and tile in two. Perfect installation except one small spot that I called on and they were right there to take care of it. Next we had 750' of hardwood floors done and it's absolutely beautiful. I did go out for other estimates and really found out how much Dave adds to getting the job done right and knowing how to measure things to get the most out of materials. Ended up with much nicer wood at the same price as others. Last we had more carpet installed in the master br and formal living room. Spot on as usual with a quick half days worth of work. Moved furniture around without a hitch. I highly recommend Flaherty's read more

From the moment the owner came to my house to measure my house for carpet to finish it was utter perfection. Patrick the owner could not have been nicer. Staci the rep did a great job helping us select the carpet. The installation was amazing. They did our 4,000 house in one day. 4 workers who were the best that I have EVER seen.We had to beg them to take lunch. They started at 0900 and finished at 7:00!! What a day! Perfect instillation and service. The price was very reasonable and was such a simple process. Why can't all businesses be run like this. You can tell the owner is good because all of the employees have been there for a long time. The lead installer said he had worked there for 14 or so years!! Can't say enough about awesome service!! From a customer service standpoint this company could use some guidance. Costco Shipping caused a lot of damage to our floors. We called Flaherty's to see if they could offer just an estimate. The tech showed up to our home and immediately said they were booked out 2 months. He did take measurements. I called to follow up with the office and spoke with Kelly. I was informed they couldn't provide an estimate because they didn't carry the exact flooring I currently have. They are very busy at the moment and thus won't go above and beyond for the purpose of customer service. They wasted my time and theirs even sending someone out. I won't recommend them to my neighbors and I won't have them back out to remodel our master bath. read more

Avoid Tara like the plague. While she will shower you with flattery, she is technically incompetent and has only impressed me with the sheer number of ways she has botched my order. Unless you like wasting your time, take your business elsewhere. There are far better flooring stores around with better prices and service. read more

Flaherty's is truly amazing. I had an indirect experience with them back in 2012. I was a renter in a house that they replaced some flooring in under an insurance claim. I do not know the details of the transaction, but the installation was flawless, so when I found myself in search of flooring for an entire house, they were the first stop. Since I'm prone to really wordy reviews, I'll try to summarize my experience efficiently. 1. We purchased a 20 year old, 2400 sq ft house with original floors. We replaced everything using a combination of tile, wood, and carpet. 2. The employees are the best! Carl was our sales rep. He is super knowledgeable, patient, and quite possibly the least pushy sales rep I've ever met. He has a lot of experience, and very helpful suggestions, without taking over design. Doug was our install coordinator. You get one person assigned just to your project that schedules and follows up on install. Since we had three different product, we had three crews, and he made everything happen a lot faster than originally quoted. Each of the three crews were wonderful. Their work was perfection, and everyone delivered faster than quoted without compromising quality. 3. Cost was so much more competitive than I thought it would be. We got a quote from Flaherty's, Lowes, and Home Depot. The big box stores will run promos on basic install, but it doesn't include anything. I got better quality product for the same price. Oh, and Flaherty's didn't charge extra for laying the tile on a diagonal broken joint pattern. The others wanted to charge close to $4/sq ft for just the pattern (doesn't include the basic install price, or product, or prep materials). 4. One final note, they do accept credit cards, but will give a "cash discount" if you pay with cash or check. For the size of our project, it was significant! read more

My first experience with Flaherty's was a couple years back when I needed to find a match to hardwood flooring in a house we were selling. Scarlett searched for the few pieces we needed as if it were a much bigger project. She found the pieces and I knew we would be back! We needed to replace our entire upstairs and stairs carpet recently. Scarlett was very knowledgeable and helpful. Rebecca and Patrick were great too. I never felt pressured or like I was getting an up-sale. We love our new carpet and will use Flaherty's for any future flooring projects. My wife and I were looking to improve the floors in our house prior to welcoming a baby into the world and couldn't be any more pleased with the service we received from Flaherty Flooring. We walked into the showroom unsure of all of our options and were welcomed by Scarlet Copeland. She helped us narrow down our options and find out what worked best for us, her patience was extraordinary and she was very helpful. We decided on splitting our stairs and 2nd floor with a mix of Laminate hardwood and carpet. The laminate was installed by Byron and Ruben and they did a phenomenal job with installations. We went to place an order at The Woodlands location and was told our floors would be here Thursday. They called their distributor in Dallas while we waited to make sure. Our house was going up for sale and based on Thursday date we he were going to have our listing go live Saturday. We called Wednesday and no one mentioned it would not arrive on Thursday. Husband took off work early to make it in time to pick up - called and now they told us it would be Tuesday. Now we are screwed on our listing date and no one bothered to call us and let us know they messed up. Poor communication and follow through after numerous contacts with them which could have been mentioned. If we had not ordered and needing the product for our listing - we would have gone elsewhere.
