Mazin was so nice to work with, as well as his talented crew. The grout was breaking away from the tile in my master shower, allowing water to penetrate the…read morewalls. Because of that I knew it needed to be re-tiled, plus I hated how it looked - dark, cave-like and difficult to clean. I'd contacted a couple of other companies to do the job, but was told that the waitlist was long and work wouldn't begin for months. I walked into floors & more on a whim, while shopping at the nearby Lowe's, and I'm really glad that I did. I have zero talent for interior design...ZERO. I had no idea how I wanted the new shower to look, just a bunch of ideas from Pinterest. Immediately Jacquie was asking to see my ideas, offering tile pairings, even allowed me to take a bunch of store samples home to think it over. Best of all, her guys could get started on my project in a week or two! After settling on which tile to use and the general layout, I paid 50% up-front and the job was scheduled. The guys spoke just enough English for us to communicate, but I wasn't always confident that they understood me. I'm not one to hover over people, inspecting their work, so I pretty much just trusted that what I wanted had been clearly explained to them, and that they knew what to do. For the most part, that was the case. There were only a couple of installation hiccups, which were handled quickly by Jacquie. I was also pleased that the guys in the demo crew also installed my tile, so the number of new people coming in and out of my house was minimal. The guys were very respectful and polite. Jacquie also was very accommodating when I didn't like the floor tile that arrived, and wanted to change it. From demo day to completion, my project took about two weeks; the only delays were due to shipping time for my special-order trim, and also by ME because I didn't really know what I wanted or what I was doing. It's been almost a year since my new shower was completed, and still, I am very happy with the work done by all floors & more. In the future, I plan to tear out the bathtub and put in a tiled shower in my guest bathroom and hire them again for both ordering the tile and the work. I feel like their rates are very reasonable and they were very easy to work with, and patient with me. I appreciate that so much. I'd definitely recommend all floors & more.

Jacquie has been nothing but incredible as was the installation team. So a few things stood out to me with this whole experience. First, I saw the pricing of our existing LVP (we wanted to match it in the bedrooms after removing the carpet) on the manufacturer website at a specific price but when I got quotes elsewhere, they all upcharged in varying amounts but not Jacquie! Second, the team who came to install the flooring was employed by this company, not a contracted out group which to me means they take pride in their work as it reflects directly on the company. They were on time, very professional, cleaned up any footprints along the way, and in one difficult spot they took the time to really figure out how to make it work correctly the first time. My husband actually used to lay flooring years ago and even he was impressed with the quality of the work! We are so happy to have consistent flooring now throughout the house and I can finally relax and have guests stay without worrying about carpet holding smells that I am nose-blind to! I will add better photos once our house doesn't look like a war zone with moving furniture and we put down the fancy baseboards we ordered! I'll add better pictures once we install our baseboards and clean up more

It is owned and operated by Kenny Smith and his wife. One of his projects he loved was remodeling a historic Galveston Home. So, Kenny has a well-rounded knowledge which makes his expertise invaluable. He can visualize the big picture. A great example...My last project was for a resale condo that totally needed to be done and I was 1000 miles away. I trusted his taste to let him make the selections that would blend with my existing bathroom tile. I suggested a laminate all over but the unlevel condo cost was moving out of my budget and then hit with the news the kitchen tile needed to be replaced too. Kenny stepped up and suggested switching to a vinyl plank that can go into the kitchen, dining and living room cost effectively. Then switch to carpet for the bedrooms to avoid cost of leveling that area. He was so patient and sincerely wanted to help me through this process and saved me $1000. People like this are hard to find. Now for quality of work it is excellent for all my projects! I fussed about all the leveling and he told me it is very important; it needs to be done. Then addressed my objection saying we can skip the bedrooms, if we use carpet. Bingo! Thank you! All three jobs turned out beautifully. I would highly recommend Kenny and Texas Carpet Direct for Quality, Trustworthiness and invaluable idea source knowing he carries much more than just Carpet.
