EZ Floors gave us our dream bathrooms! We were returning customers after having flooring replaced in our bedroom a few years ago. Both experiences were well worth it! Mazin was so nice to work with, as well as his talented crew. He checked in frequently and made sure all the details and customizations that were important to us were achieved: from the cabinetry tilt outs for laundry and tooth brushes, to creating space for a two person shower in our master bath. This is going to be a 2 part review. One for the sales and one for the final results. Sales; Evan R. was very nice and friendly. He listened to what we were looking for and was not pushy on making a sale. Some businesses talk bad about their competitors; but this was not the case here. Evan was knowledgeable about the products we were looking for and made many suggestions. And helped us pick what would look nice together. We did end up purchasing from Ez Floor. Definitely go see Evan if you are in need of flooring, countertops of any kind I will do part 2 of the review after our flooring is installed. Ok Part 2 The floor and tile were installed. The guy who was doing the installation was amazing. They call him Rambo but his real name is Louis(I think). Rambo can lay floor and tile. We had the fireplace redone with tile and it looks great! Words don't even explain how much we love the floor. It look phenomenal! We are saving up to get the back splash & countertops done as soon as we can. Get your floor & tile done by them. After the freeze that hit Houston in 2021, my water pipes busted and my house flooded so I had to replace my floor for the first floor. When I got there, they made me feel so welcomed that I'd be taken care of. I dealt with the salesman Jake and absolutely astonishing customer service and work ethics. He helped me to pick the tile, the fire place and the counter top 1- Price: I don't think anyone in town will beat their price, I looked at different places and there prices were the best (stars: 2/2) 2- Customer Service: They made me feel welcomed and they took good care of me. They were easy to talk to and deal with. My husband and I are absolutely floored (pun intended) by the quality and service we received from EZ Floors. Jarfar was very helpful and accommodating from the first phone call. We had hardwoods installed in our primary bedroom, closet and stairs. We lucked out as our existing wood was available in Houston, getting the job started quickly. It took four days to install. The team of two were trustworthy and did a great job. We are very happy with our install and plan to call soon to replace carpeting. read more

This is our second time using EZ Floors. The first was for our first home in Houston, where they installed engineered hardwood. It was beautiful and we got lots of compliments. Two houses later (being more educated about Houston weather and moisture issues), we opted to install luxury vinyl planks (https://southerntraditionsflooring.com/waterproof/origins/black-canyon/) in the entire house. The install went faster than expected and looks amazing. It also feels good and is quiet and not echo-y in the house. We really liked the install team as well - super courteous, communicative and very skilled. We got a significantly better deal using EZ Floors over a competitor recommended by our realtor. If I could give them zero stars I would. Let's start from he beginning .... Met with a sales rep for carpet and tile install quotes. Showed the salesman the tile he measured the rooms that need carpet and gave us a quote. My wife scheduled the installation process and they said they would contact her in three days. About a week later we called Ez floors because no one had called us. They said they were having phone problems. Come to find out it would be a month before they could come out to us. The carpet install went well. No complaints at all. The tile .....not so much. The guys that came out to do the tile started on a Wednesday and laid all the tile down. I told them that the tile looked a bit uneven and they said it would settle. The next morning around 8 the guy showed up to finish the grout. He took about an hour and then he sat around on our back porch waiting for his ride to pick him up. I went into the bathroom to inspect the tile and that's when my frustration started. Here are the issues : 1- they left the carpet sitting on the tile and didn't even line it up to make it blend. Just ripped up carpet ! 2- the majority of the tiles were uneven. Very uneven. It looked like I did the job. 3 they left cut marks on the tile where they started to cut the tile but then didn't. 4 grout was missing in areas not visible in the bathroom. 5 the tile was not cleaned and debris were left on the floor IT JUST LOOKED AWFUL !!!!! I called the store and spoke to Shawn. He came out to the house but unfortunately he failed to bring a level to check the work and even told my wife it was due to uneven slabs of marble in the bathroom. Not entirely Shawn ! After I checked my marble was completely level. Your workers are incapable of installing tile. They did offer to fix the work two weeks later and after several long conversations with upper level management I decided to part ways with them and dispute the charges with my bank. I would STAY AWAY from this company. read more

They came to finish my bathroom; another contractor had started... they claimed they could finish it for almost double the price. they destroyed my bedroom dust galore, then I realized only the guy who knew what he was doing was the guy who installed the shower door, then they started sending day laborers who could not fit the puzzle pieces together my clothes were all over and ruined with durst, I had to pay another company to fix the closet so I can salvage some of my clothes, the toilet they installed could not flushed the, even the door they installed was backward ... then they stopped showing up. The worst part about it is my husband had died suddenly, but before his death he was into them and had stopped payment, so one of them came to my house took advantage of my bereavement then took over 18500k from me and left just like that...when I caught them in a lie they returned 2K then left the job unfinished and my house filthy... imagine grieving the sudden loss of a healthy firefighter and dealing with all this thanks to EZFloors read more

Wonderful Experience! In September 2018 we decided to sell our home in Copperfield and decided that we needed to upgrade the flooring in our house. I went to Matt (the sales associate) in their Copperfield office. We had used him two years earlier when we added some laminate flooring in our foyer and dining room, and also tile flooring in our bathrooms. Matt worked up some good numbers for us and we extended the laminate flooring throughout the downstairs and also replaced all of the carpeting upstairs. Everything went exactly as Matt said it would. The laminate flooring went in on that Wednesday and the carpeting went in on Friday (I first spoke to Matt on Monday morning and everything was done by Friday of that same week). Everything went as agreed and as hoped for. The price was good, the workmanship was excellent, and the work crew cleaned everything up after they were gone. Excellent job! No complaints at all. Less than a year ago I had new tiles installed in my kitchen/bathroom/pantry/and laundry room floor from a contractor who had good ratings on Angie's List. Unfortunately the service and quality of work was poor (tiles and grout lines were uneven and started cracking after 2 days). My calls regarding the warranty weren't returned and it was a battle with Angie's List to settle the claim. In comes Jay from EZ Floors who was a delight to work with right from the beginning (especially since I was cynical after the last incident). Unlike the 7 other sales people I spoke to the week before, I found dealing with Jay refreshing. His approach was to listen to my situation, understand my wants and needs, and to be completely honest with the kind of work he felt I needed. My husband and I never once felt rushed into signing a contract with services we weren't sure about. Jay was patient with us and even went out of his way to meet us during his off hours because he knew we had two small children. Even better was that Jay would call me mid-week to check up and make sure things were smooth. After all the work was done, he surprised us by coming by again in person to check on our satisfaction with the quality or work. I wish more salesmen shared Jay's approach and patience. Until then, Jay is now my family's go-to guy when it comes to future floor installations :) read more

Poor customer service and no accountability !! EZ Floors remodeled our kitchen a year ago. We got the counter, back splash and sink replace by them. One morning we woke up to see that our kitchen sink was broken and hanging in the sink hole.Why..? all because of the poor installation by this store. When I called to send someone to fix it. The store manager would not give a promising reply to send someone but sent a technician a week later after we took care of it. By the time, we hired someone and fixed it by paying out of our pocket. I will never give my next business to them. Just wanted to warn people from falling into their business. Be aware and run !!! This was not the first time. We got out stairs carpet replace by them and they did a not so good job.Never met the deadlines. When we had a party that we wanted them to finish but left it with nails everywhere that we cancelled our party due to that reason. read more

Repulsive lack of integrity from everyone outside the sales room. There's only so much damage to the customer experience the sales team can compensate for. This experience was way outside of those limits. Only do your remodeling with these folks if you are a penny-pincher in every other aspect of your life and have no regard for quality. Otherwise you'll probably have a very distressing experience. I remodeled 4 rooms, a kitchen, and 2 bathrooms with EZ Floors. I had a good experience only in the showroom- matching and picking out tile, backsplash, hardwood, granite, and a shower. The end result looks nice to me- because we picked everything out with the sales team and I personally fixed a lot of crap- but the installation process was an absolute nightmare. What I really should have done with these folks is took 2 weeks off of work and micro-managed what every single person that stepped into my house did, or just spent a few thousand extra dollars and remodeled with someone else. The EZ Floor employee hardwood installers quite literally vandalized my newly painted walls. I have never seen anybody walk into a house and treat it with such disregard under legal circumstances. They put together my hardwood like kids playing with legos and left hundreds of gaps visible under a casual inspection. They left H-Joints, Stair Step patterns, and installed ugly or damaged boards which should have been put aside or thrown away. I have half a dozen boards that have audible signs of delamination, and have a handful of boards that weren't glued down- one small piece with not a speck of glue on it. I got an NWFA consultation, spoke with other hardwood installation companies, and my conclusion is that I got one of the worst floor installations legally possible. The repair team jacked around with me, lied to me on a dozen occasions- including giving me their technical "opinion" that the floor was installed correctly-, and let me think they were actually going to do something to fix my amateur installed floor but just stopped talking to me completely. They offered to put wood filler that doesn't even match on my floor. I don't want a hardwood floor that looks like tile and grout or brick and mortar, The granite installers cut a hole for the soap dispenser in a spot where the soap dispenser would not physically even fit. I had all the kitchen hardware available for the installers to look at before they started cutting holes but they didn't have the foresight to think it was necessary. I spent dozens of hours of my spare time before work, after work, and on the weekends fixing what the EZ Floor employees and subcontractors jacked up in my house: picking out powder wood filler, custom mixing it to match my floor, filling every single gap between planks on my hands and knees, touching up paint on walls and doors, completely repainting 1 wall, buying plumbing parts that sub-contractors threw away but I still needed, fixing the RO filtration system because it was audible in the other room and not even filtering correctly- subcontracted plumber claimed it was behaving normally, moving the primary AC drain pipe- which the subcontracted plumber told me should be moved- back to its original and correct position, removing a leaking shower head and re-installing it with plumber's tape. Lots of touch ups like cleaning up pencil marks from the shower tile, cleaning wood glue out from between hardwood planks, wiping off concrete from my baseboards. The only redeeming factor here is that the sales team will work with you on stuff that sub-contractors mess up. Pretty much everything except hardwood/carpet flooring is sub-contracted. I didn't get a satisfactory offer to compensate for what the EZ Floor employees did, and their job was the worst. My guess is that is because it would come out of EZ Floor's budget instead of a sub-contractor's, or, just as likely, that I paid my bill in full too early. The most distressing part about this was the repair team jacking around with me. I called BS on them when they gave me their "technical expertise" stating that gaps between my tongue and groove engineered hardwood boards were necessary because of expansion and contraction of the wood. That is a novel idea.. whose arse was it pulled from? This is not an NWFA standard. I got an NWFA consultation, and consulted with other hardwood installation companies and they called it the same as me: BS. After calling BS on them they stuck to their "opinion". What reputable hardwood installation company would be brazen enough to send out people to walk into your home and lie to your face in the name of technical expertise? None in my opinion. EZ Floors does not seem reputable to me, and though I am a one time return customer I definitely will not be going back, nor would I recommend them to anybody. read more

Do not use this company. I had them renovate my half bath and upstairs bath. In April of 2018. The tub is already leaking and the toilets are shaking off their base. Plumber states toilets were not mounted properly and tube was not installed properly. Also they gave me the cheapest tub without offering me other options. They are not using certified plumbers or the best products. I did ask for them to come out and look at it. Big no show. The did call but no one came out. read more

We were very pleased with our ceramic wood flooring and our carpet. The prices are the best in town, and we looked at several places. Matthew gave us a bid for everything and the contract was explicit so no added charges along the way. I live in Copper Lakes so the location was great. Our crew was very diligent In their work and even came out to repair a couple of pieces that did not have enough grout. I appreciated the follow up service. Terrible service, they did not clean up after themselves, they had to come back and fix a door that wouldn't open after they worked on my floor, and in less than a year the tile floor they installed already makes noise when walking on it. I first met with Shane in late September. Several of our rooms had water damage. We were looking into Tile. I stopped by the store after reading several Yelp reviews. I met with Shane. Shane was prompt in coming to our home and providing product information and providing samples and after, pricing. Shortly after due to other circumstances,we changed to carpet. Again Shane went above and beyond to provide us with product information , samples and pricing. We signed with Shane. Everything he said would happen was 100% on. They contacted me the week before to set up installation, his men arrived early the day of. They were very professional and courteous. They finished when they said they would. They also cleaned up after. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. During this time, we had dealt with several others, in various trades. I wish they had been as professional and prompt as Shane and his crew. No surprises, all went perfectly. I would recommend Shane to any and all Family & Friends, and I don't do that often. read more

Last week we had wood laminate flooring installed in our family room and office. We absolutely love it! Evan, our sales representative was awesome. He went out of his way to make sure we were happy with our selection and we felt really good about the price we paid. We must also thank our contractor Rambo and his crew. They came into our home and knocked the work out in one day. They were extremely gently with our furniture, which they moved, dusted, and placed back in the original places. I just used ez floors to remodel my kitchen ( granite and flooring). The price was exactly what I expected, he actually offered more for the same price then others without a hassle. Matt was very nice and professional. He made me feel at ease throughout the process. The flooring crew especially were very hard workers and made sure everything was leveled and finished perfect! Mixed review for this company on two different projects. First of all, I had no issues with the sales persons at the store or when they came to the house to measure, price was agreeable. On the first project laminate was installed in living room and dining room, The project was completed on time and the install crew did a great job. Then comes project number 2, laminate flooring again. However it was a different crew that showed up to do the work. The workers did a good job, however their "supervisor" was a total jerk. He obviously did not want to do the job and looked for reasons to not even start the project. He was supposed to remove the existing tile prior to installing the laminate but said it wasn't necessary (although I'm sure I paid for it). All he did was complain about the way the project was specified, blamed the sales person who sold the project for not knowing what he was doing, and said if he proceeded with the project he would not warranty the work, he was ready to walk off the job. A visit to the EZ Floor store ended up with him being called and advised to do the project. Also the salesman advised the installer does not determine whether or not the work would be under warranty, the store did that. So returning to the project the install supervisor was obviously angry that I had visited the store and again talked about the salesmen being ignorant about the proper way to complete the project. The two real workers (the supervisor did nothing but stand around and complain about having to do the job and criticize what he called the stupid sales people that don't know anything about doing real work) completed the project, or so they said, except for the entry door transition which did not fit correctly and the door would not close. The supervisor looked at me and asked "what do you want me to do?" What???? I want you to finish the job your are being paid to do. They left without installing the transition, the stain on it was still wet as it was stained at the last minute. I ended up installing the transition myself after working on it to make it fit correctly. The cuts around the walls were uneven and a couple of days later when a different install crew came out to finish the job by installing the wall base and trim and found that the cuts on the corners were done wrong and the trim would not cover the gaps. This crew also left without completing the job, blaming it on the previous crew. And so much for the promises from the sales folks. I received no compensation from them for a job that was never finished and they just ignored me. In summary, you will get promised the world at their store by their sales people but the incompetent workers that actually do the install will leave you angry, frustrated, and totally unsatisfied with the finished product. Be smart, shop ;somewhere else. read more
