A great example...My last project was for a resale condo that totally needed to be done and I was 1000 miles away. I trusted his taste to let him make the selections that would blend with my existing bathroom tile. I suggested a laminate all over but the unlevel condo cost was moving out of my budget and then hit with the news the kitchen tile needed to be replaced too. Kenny stepped up and suggested switching to a vinyl plank that can go into the kitchen, dining and living room cost effectively. Then switch to carpet for the bedrooms to avoid cost of leveling that area. He was so patient and sincerely wanted to help me through this process and saved me $1000. People like this are hard to find. Now for quality of work it is excellent for all my projects! I fussed about all the leveling and he told me it is very important; it needs to be done. Floating was not what Jason told us it would be or the proper way that Coretec requires. One of my floors is very unleveled when it wasn't before. My furniture now sits at a tilted angle. The installers left all the floors with a layer of dirt that leaves your feet very dirty. They left dust and float mud everywhere and they could not understand me when I tried to tell them that the floor is still dirty after they used their broom. ..and at 7 pm at night; my kids need their house back. No one showed up the next day to clean. Jason is giving me the run around about it and repeatedly tells me they are professionals. No, they are not! It also appears that an almost $14,000 job does not give you floors that look new or are clean...it appears that the customer is supposed to clean them, the walls, and the furniture That they failed to cover. The floors look old and dirty. Jason should tell his customers that they will have a big mess to clean up and that the install does not come with clean floors. I had FFL install wood like tile before and did not have this problem. Is this normal protocol for vinyl?????

Bought a house and decided to replace all the flooring with tile. We went to FFL, picked a pretty…read moretile @ good price & financing options. The installation team finished the job early - 4 days instead of 9 - and the floors look really good. That's the good, now for the bad ... Issue #1: attractive financing (10% down & no interest for 4 years) didn't happen. I said we would probably pay it off early, so we got 1 year no interest. Issue #2: The installation process was a huge disappointment. I found grout residue in places it shouldn't be: walls, baseboards & doors. And the bathroom sink stopper was grouted shut. I understand: it's a construction zone in your house! But this was careless, sloppy, unprofessional work. Issue #3: We were at the house yesterday and accidentally discovered that most of the windows were open! For a week!?! Since the install team left?!? And it rained? Great. I hired a professional cleaning service to clean the house before we moved in - even they were shocked at how dirty the house was. 2+ cleaners & 6 hours to clean it! Deep Clean Texas did a great job and the house looks great! I expected FFL to handle installation with more care and respect for a customer's home. I'm really irritated by the lack of attention to detail and basic cleanliness that I received. So, no, I do not recommend FFL. The price may be good, but the Hassle Factor is just too high for me. I hope this review serves as constructive feedback for FFL. Future customers deserve a service that leaves them with beautiful floors, not additional work to clean up. FFL posted a reply to my Google review: sweet words and empty promises don't reimburse me the $700 it cost to clean our trashed house and who knows what it will cost to remove all the grout from EVERY. SINGLE. WALL. BASEBOARD. DOOR. DOOR HANDLE. in our house.
