If it had been just the rude front desk lady once she bothered noticing me, I'd have said, ok fine, they just need to change the face of the company... but when the snotty owner finally came out (as the front desk lady clearly was clueless what I was even talking about), it wasn't much better. I guess birds of a feather.. Right there and that, I knew I wasn't gonna work with them anyway. Asked for a quote nonetheless, since I made the trip. They just do not want your business, they only want to bilk you out of your hard-earned cash, ridiculously expensive; ended up somewhere else needless to say. No call back after talking to the lady who answered the phone. Called again two more times over 10 days and left messages. Still no call back. Finding a carpet repair company turned out to be hard, but most other companies were responsive and said they don't do that work--I respect them getting back to me and I will Not review them. I take exception to The Carpet Specialist who failed to respond to numerous inquiries. What does that say if you hire them and they need to come back? Will they "ghost you?"

I called them a few days later and the lady never picked up and now the phone call goes straight to voicemail. The address listed for this business is an apartment which I believe is illegal to run a business from a residence. I'm assuming they are dodging tax by not providing me a receipt. I really need this receipt as we sold our home and need to provide to the new buyer. I have a couple of stars because they did a pretty good job. I will report them to the BBB for not providing an invoice as well as running a business from a residence. Also I thought they charged a bit high for the amount of work that they did. I would definitely get an estimate and shop around before using them in the future, especially if you need warranty or an invoice.

My clients house was vacant and for sale when it had a huge internal foundation repair that destroyed the existing floors. He hauled away the old floor and mess the foundation company left and even took away construction debris left behind by other contractors as a courtesy, so my client wouldn't have to hire someone to do that. He was great to work with!
