Unresponsive is how I would describe this company. I talked to them on 10/10/22 to come and give me an estimate on some rug repair/rug pulling after some indoor foundation work. No call back after talking to the lady who answered the phone. Called again two more times over 10 days and left messages. Still no call back. Finding a carpet repair company turned out to be hard, but most other companies were responsive and said they don't do that work--I respect them getting back to me and I will Not review them. I take exception to The Carpet Specialist who failed to respond to numerous inquiries. What does that say if you hire them and they need to come back? Will they "ghost you?" read more

I hired them to stretch our carpet and did a pretty good job and did come on scheduled time. However, they are dodging me when I requested an invoice. They said they would turn my invoice into the office then they would email me and it's been over a week. I called them a few days later and the lady never picked up and now the phone call goes straight to voicemail. The address listed for this business is an apartment which I believe is illegal to run a business from a residence. I'm assuming they are dodging tax by not providing me a receipt. I really need this receipt as we sold our home and need to provide to the new buyer. I have a couple of stars because they did a pretty good job. I will report them to the BBB for not providing an invoice as well as running a business from a residence. Also I thought they charged a bit high for the amount of work that they did. I would definitely get an estimate and shop around before using them in the future, especially if you need warranty or an invoice. read more

This was my first time using this company to clean my very filthy upstair carpets with my 6 yr old son and husband wasting drinks everywhere, my cat coughing up hair balls every chance she gets, and dirt traffic from coming in outside. I will say I was very impressed with Tony and Frank. They were on time, very courteous, and professional. They did an excellent job with the cleaning beyond my expectations, even getting a stain out that a previous carpet cleaner never could get out. I am SO IMPRESSED! I had a cleaning company leave a bleach stain in my master bedroom floor and I have been so annoyed looking at it for the past month. I called around to a couple companies to see how much it would cost to repair and what impressed me was from the first call to The Carpet Specialists was that they explained all the options to fix and also suggested I may have replacement carpet in my attic but told me I didn't have to check myself, that they would have their technician go up and check for me when they came to do the estimate. They did explain to me the range of pricing and they ended up being one of the best prices companies for carpet repair. I really chose them also because of their great reviews and I have to say, they did not disappoint. The gentlemen were courteous and wore shoe covers, they explained to me about the coloring difference from carpet stored in the attic and when they finished they cleaned up and explained to me exactly how to care for the carpet in the next couple days. I have used this company twice, and could not be more pleased with their service! We had several patch jobs coming into a new home, the gentleman explained first that it may not be exact due to wear, etc. However all patches were beautiful and seamless! Could not tell that any carpet was replaced, and stained areas were gone! We also had carpet installed in a room, the gentleman pointed out that I didn't have enough carpet pad, but he came prepared & had extra in truck, so we didn't have to reschedule. Both times I also had a separate fix issue on door entry to tile flooring, and they repaired it beautifully without making me book a separate appointment.
