It's great to find a company willing to work on my schedule and schedule an appointment after work. Schuyler was on time, great to work with and was fast. I don't think the carpet looked this good when I bought the place. I seriously doubt my four legged monsters will change their bad habits so I will be calling on Shook again and again. read more

Shook did a thorough job of cleaning my carpets. They were on-time, on-budget and extremely polite and professional.

Amazing customer service. We had bad reception on the phone when I first called for a quote, so she ended up texting me instead to see what I needed. I was able to set up carpet cleaning and grout cleaning for the next day. The technician actually showed up on time at 8am! (shocker) He did a great job. Carpet looks brand new. Grout is definitely cleaner (not brand new though but a drastic improvement!). Before leaving, he advised me to turn on the AC unit fan for the carpets and to not walk on them for some period of time and also to turn on the fan in the living room for the grout. Definitely recommend Shook to anyone and will use them next time when my tenants move out. read more

Good communication, reasonably priced, professional, polite. The carpet were cleaned as expected with no issues.

They came out and did a great job with short notice, their pricing was fair after getting some other quotes, and we would for sure use them again in the future . read more

Per the requirement of the lease on my last rental, I needed the carpet cleaned in a townhouse at the end of December (the lease ended Dec 31). I was concerned that there would be limited (quality) options, being that it was approaching NYE and Jan 1. I found Shook on Yelp, contacted them, and they replied very promptly. They were fantastic to deal with (Jessica) and the technician that cleaned the carpet (Schuyler) was prompt, professional, friendly, and efficient. Being that I do not wear shoes in the house, the carpet wasn't too bad, but it looked better and almost new, afterwards. I'd highly recommend them. read more

I was very pleased with the affordability and efficiency of service. My exterior windows were cleaned thoroughly and the Cleaner took the time to reinstall my window screens after the job was completed. This company is trustworthy and I would do business with them again. read more

Only giving four stars because people read four star reviews more than five stars. These guys are great. Fit me into their schedule and knocked out two rooms in no time. They have a $99 minimum and actually offered to do more work instead of charging $99 for the one room I needed done. Quick and effective service. Got my stains out. Tip worthy. You won't be disappointed if you go with these guys. Zero complaints and no up-sell attempt like most of the big steam cleaners around town. That $99 intro price turns to $200 real quick with the other guys. read more

I use Shook on a regular basis. I have 3 Dogs and a cat. They do an amazing job. My carpets look like new afterwards and no animal smell. I also have asthma and it really helps my breathing. Bonus...they do my windows, I am afraid of heights so getting my windows washed makes my life so much easier. read more

I just had Shook Carpet Cleaners clean my carpet for the first time and I will definitely be a returning customer. Great communication, very friendly customer service, reasonable prices and they made my carpet look new again. Beyond pleased! read more

We were recommended to use Shook by our neighbors and we are beyond ecstatic with their work ethic and prices. We had to call last minute and they were able to schedule us the next morning. Plus, they have a 20% off special right now and an extra 10% for teachers, active duty, veterans, and all first responders. They even gave us pretreatment for free since I am a teacher and a veteran! We had our whole house cleaned for $130 - master/closet, 2 bedrooms, game room, and stairs. They were so nice while on phone making the appointment and while at at the house. This family owned business is run by people that you want as friends and neighbors. I can't say enough for this company. We will never use anyone else! http://www.shookcarpetcleaning.com read more

Wonderful people to work with! Schuyler King was very friendly and professional. When requesting a quote on Yelp, they reached out right away with the best out of 10 quotes I had received. Great prices! And the job they did is 100% satisfactory! Schuyler went over our carpet with a black light before he started the cleaning which I thought was genius. He was able to make sure those areas got super clean. My husband and I just bought a house and wanted to get the carpets clean before we moved in, unfortunately our water couldn't get turned on bc of the holiday weekend but they made it very easy to reschedule. The owners prior had a cat and I swear every night we slept in the house before the cleaning, I had bad allergies. Now that the carpets are clean, I can breathe so easy! He even showed me the amount of cat hair that was in the filter! I was impressed by how clean the carpets were afterwards and it was a great experience overall. I would definitely hire them again and recommend to everyone I know. read more

Just had my carpets cleaned today and the service was great. The technician (sorry I forgot his name) was very pleasant and did a great job, finished within the time estimated and did a carpet patch that looks perfect. Will definitely recommend this service! read more

I saw the reviews for Shook Carpet Cleaning and thought I would give them a try. They cleaned all my carpets and did a fantastic job. When one still had a few issues, they came right back to address the problem. My carpets feel and smell clean. I have already recommended them to my neighbors, I was so grateful for their great service from the time they answer the phone 'til the time they leave your house, I thought I'd leave a review here too. read more

Schuyler has to be one of the most professional people I have ever met. His commitment to do the very best shows in his work. Him going above and beyond explaining the process of the work ahead, along with what to expect with the drying times. I will recommend him to everyone I know regardless if they are in the market for carpet cleaning or not. read more

I live in California and wanted to treat my sister who lives in Houston with a carpet cleaning service. Finding this company on Yelp and comparing them to other companies, I took a chance. My sister just called to report they were on time , extremely nice, did a fantastic job. The house smells wonderful and she is thrilled! She had always hired franchise companies in the past and now realized she greatly overpaid. She is a convert and will only hire Shook from now on. read more

Good communication is essential in any relationship, and Taylor, "boss lady", really impresses me in this department. As soon as I booked my appointment, I received a text with all details including name & head shot of the technician assigned for the job. Taylor maintained good communication with me throughout , and she was very accommodative. Both text & e-mail were sent day before to remind us of our appointment. On day of the job, our technician texted me ahead of time to let us know he was on his way. He did a great job & was also a great communicator! A final text was sent letting me know job was completed & a receipt was e-mailed simultaneously. Overall, my family & I had an excellent experience with this company. We definitely will call on Shook Carpets Cleaning (i.e., Taylor) in future for our carpets, and will try their other services as well including tiles/grout, upholstery & windows care! Would HIGHLY recommend this very efficiently run, people centric company! read more

This was a super easy and smooth process from the beginning. I needed a sofa, love seat and rug cleaned. They quoted me the best price out of five other competitors. I was able to book a next day appointment. Schuyler was on time for the appointment and showed me everything he was going to do before he did it. He was so polite and diligent. I am very thankful for the amazing job and fantastic customer service! read more

The service was great. I found them via Yelp thanks to the great reviews I saw. They were very profesional throughout the whole process. On the agreed day, the technician was available earlier than expected, I received a call and message to ask if I was available. When the technician arrived, he explained he process and got right to work. The carpet looks great, they did a great job. I will definitely be using them in the future. read more

Shook Carpet Cleaning was recommended on my neighborhood page so I figured I would give them a try. Great customer service and a professional technician, Chris. I got the carpet and tile grout cleaned for my entire house. Chris contacted me to let me know that his first job ran a little long and to apologize that he would be running a little late. To my surprise he was only late about 10 minutes as I assumed he would be much later (as my experience with other companies late means 30 minutes to a hour). Chris was able to answer all of my questions and exceeded my expectations. I was torn on getting two areas of my house cleaned, but being that they are never used, Chris did not try to convince me to get something cleaned that I did not need. They offered great prices as I was able to use the June promotion and the educator discount. I will definitely use them again for my future needs! read more

Had my carpet cleaned by Shook because I moved out of the townhouse that I was renting. The gentleman called me the morning of and told me he was running ahead of schedule and asked if he wanted me to show up early. I said yes and he showed up ready to go. We walked through the house showing the areas to be cleaned, he parked the van in front of the house, hooked the hose up to the water spicket on the house, and got the job done in about an hour. The cleaning was for 3 bedrooms, a hallway, & stairs. They did a great job and for a reasonable price. The cleaner was very respectful of the house and a great person to meet. Will definitely use them again when needed. Thanks! read more

We had Shook Carpet Cleaning to our home recently to clean the carpets downstairs. Schuyler was timely and professional. Carpets turned out great, dried quickly, and smelled awesome. The company sent text with his picture so we knew who to expect. He was actually running ahead of time so contacted us to see if he could come early (which worked in our schedule). We will have them back in a couple months to do upstairs carpets and tile/grout. read more

I was referred to Shook by my Katy/ Fulsher friends on Facebook and I was amazed with the job. They did a great job! Chris was great, friendly and thorough. He came in with a black light found all of our pet stains, treated them and cleaned everything. They are very honest, I booked for two additional rugs and after looking over my rugs Chris said he didn't see any stains on one of them. He did recommend stain deodorizer for a few of the rooms and I added it and it smells amazing! I highly recommend this company. read more
