I was traveling through had an emergency they got me in we had great conversation and the price was fair and I can tell the people that work there were very proud to do so! the business is open 7 days a week, the owner loves his job! I'm a 9 year Flagstaff local who is always eager to give my business to local establishments whenever possible. When my car broke down, I decided to give these guys a try. Big mistake... Flagstaff Mobile Mechanic had my car for 12 days only to tell me they couldn't fix a problem with my car's exhaust system. Throughout these 12 days, establishing regular communication with the shop was like pulling teeth. The shop phone was seldom answered. In the rare instance someone did pick up, it was "the weekend guy" who only was there to take appointments and had no information on my vehicle. I had to get a friend to physically drive me to the shop so I could talk to someone about my car. Oftentimes, I spent over 10 minutes waiting in an unattended lobby waiting for someone who worked there to make an appearance. 0/5 on communication 0/5 on urgency I would strongly advise taking your business elsewhere. **Included below is a picture of the receptionist's rude, gratuitous response to the same review I posted on Facebook.** read more

Most honest mechanic I've met. We had a diesel box truck stuck out in flagstaff it wouldn't start, wouldn't crank I though We were going to end up paying thousands just to tow it somewhere then store it till Monday. Luckily I called the right mechanic it took a while to start but it finally started. While driving back to her dorm my daughter hit a rock. She luckily made it back to her dorm but after restarting the car later it made a horrible noise. Daniel at flagstaff mobile was out there in less than an hour, fixed it, checked her fluids and was done in minutes. I was so great full to have someone to take care of this when we couldn't. I can't describe how grateful I am to have found this shop and Michael and Sage. They rescued us when our radiator cracked on our way home to Colorado and made sure we were in the road on the same day for an amazing price. Not only did they do a great job, they arranged for someone to come pick us up at the rest stop where we were stranded and included our dogs with no problem. Once we got to the shop, they sat and talked with us and invited our dogs in to get cool. I can't say enough about these kind, amazing people. My sons Jeep Wrangler wouldn't start and it wasn't the battery. On a recommendation, we called Flagstaff Mobile Mechanic. I was in San Diego and trying to coordinate with my son who has never dealt with mechanics before. Mike came as scheduled and before I knew it, I get a text from Mike that it was all done and no requirement for a new starter. The only problem was a loose wire on the starter. Five stars! This dude saw a mom peering under her daughter's car trying to figure out what to do about the sagging unhinged undercarriage. He stopped in the parking lot, asked if I needed help and then spent 15 minutes removing and rebolting the whole thing. And then didn't want to charge me. Gave him $40 tip. Mike saved my butt one Sunday. I had overfilled my tranny fluid and it sort of burped the extra all over my engine one Sunday on a long road trip. He was there in under an hour and got my fluid changed out in no time. Very reasonably priced, and I'd bet he could get nearly any part you need that autozone or oreillly has installed and get you on your way again. You're not getting the Honda/Chevy/BMW dealer service department, but Mike can get you out of a bind, I have great confidence. read more

I not only used Flagstaff Mobile Mechanic services but referred them to my family members and friends. All went well til a few weeks ago......he placed a cam in my little car BUT.... let the cam tensioner loose and had to remove the whole front cover to fix it. This added alot of time to the job that was not necessary. He finished 95% of the job and then disappeared on me. Would not answer texts or calls....I have not heard from him since....I was going to pay him for the extra work, I NEVER said I wouldn't. As I began to put the car back together myself I found he had stripped a cam tower bolt even after we talked about being careful with those......OK, fixable with a Helicoil kit from NAPA. Bottom line: I left 2 stars instead of 1, because til this situation all was GREAT. He is a nice guy, a hard worker and I really liked him.....but leaving my car apart like that was not right. I'm sorry but after looking and my car apart for 2 weeks and finishing it myself this story was going to be told. read more
