These guys did a great job. Two thumbs up! Small disclaimer there was an issue at first, but was rectified. Took my truck in for a door repair, under insurance claim. While my truck was there I had them repaint my hood as well due to chipping and flaking off. Overall all the paint looks amazing. We had a hiccup with the door panel trim. Somehow it ended up not being in the condition when I left it with them. I had photos to show them and no one could understand why it looked the way it did once the job was complete. I brought up my conerns and Chris said that they would take care of it and make it right. Few days later I was called that the piece was in and to swing by and they will put it on. Showed up and got the piece replaced. This isn't the cheapest place in town, but the work comes out looking amazing. If youre going through insurance, make sure to atleast get a quote from these guys here. If you want cheap work, you'll get cheap results. Thanks again guys for fixing the issue. I recently bought a used car. After a few days I noticed that the passenger door was not seated right, leading to its whistling in the wind. I had bought the car, only 2 years old, from a dealer 'as is'. To be honest, the dealer probably didn't notice that it had been hit slightly at the bottom of the door. The first place I took it to told me that a new door would probably cost several thousand dollars. But, they might be able to adjust it, maybe costing 2 hours labor. I took my vehicle in after a wind storm blew down a basketball rim onto my car. I called to see when I could bring it in and they told me is would be about two weeks out. Showed up for my appointment and they had all the paperwork ready. It was originally supposed to only be there for abut two days, but they had to keep it longer to order a part. They did call me and let me know this though. The part showed up and they finished the repairs. The repairs look great and it has a lifetime warranty. If I have any other body repairs while living in Flagstaff, I will definitely go back. read more

We got a quote for some body work, took it in, got it back and they only charged us half the quote because they were able to do it without ordering a part. Most places are not that honest. I spoke to all three shops and felt most comfortable working with Tony from Route 66. He is very knowledgeable and candid. He gave me a very fair estimate and told me what they might discover that could raise the price. The work was completed within the estimated time frame and looks great. I purchased a truck at a local dealership and as part of the deal, the dealer offered to pay for a rhino lining for the bed. They directed me here and the sales person made an appointment for me to get the liner installed. When I came back to pick up the vehicle they handed me a bill. When I mentioned the agreement made with the dealership all I got was blank stares. The manager comes in and I repeat myself. Even better than blank stares, this time I get simply "Not my problem" and then ignored. A call to the dealership later and they are billed for the work and the problem is solved with no help from the body shop. I have never been treated so rudely by any service provider, and to this day I am still taken aback. 1 star because the liner work was fine. read more

Poor services with a side of lies. I was in an accident on November 29th and did not get my car back until January 22nd! They quoted my insurance company 3 WEEKS and it took more than twice that long! They then told my insurance company they would pay for the extra time, but I ended up having to pay Enterprise Rental car for the extra $560 for the time that they literally had my car sitting in their lot! They lied to my insurance guy about parts coming in wrong and having to be returned. I asked repeatedly for proof so I could submit for reimbursement to arbitration to show why they took so long, but they never provided me with proof. Then one guy admitted that they didn't even touch my car for the first three weeks! Another guy told me to pick my car up from the Subaru dealer, because it was ready. When I did, they threatened to repo my car! My insurance company had already paid them! When the owner, Tony, said no one threatened me, I told him I had three witnesses, since I was driving at the time and my phone was on speaker with a car full of other people who can vouch that is exactly what his person said. They lied saying that my car was delayed at the Subaru dealer, but when I asked Subaru, they were able to prove to me that the car was dropped off without a bumper, without headlights, and not street safe, so it sat there for three days for Route 66 to pick it up AFTER Subaru told them they could not work on it as they had to be able to test drive it and have it in street worthy condition. It then went back to Subaru and Route 66 said Subaru had it again for 3 days. Subaru was again able to prove that they received and sent it back THE SAME DAY! Lies, lies, lies, lies, lies! One of their guys told me I was a "drive in" and that they were busy, so I was put to the back of the line. Well, it happens a friend of mine was also a drive in after me and was done before me. She had less damage. Every time I followed up with them they just kept telling me how bad off my car was. So my final thought? They didn't know how to fix it and instead of telling my insurance company and me that up front so I could take it elsewhere, they kept it and hoped they could figure it out! I have talked to Tony and told him that couldn't stand the lies from his company and he offered no apologies. I have talked to Enterprise Rentals, Travelers Insurance, and Flagstaff Subaru, all who have said that Tony and his team lied to them, changed their timelines, prices, and stories to fit the current situation. I wish I had gone with who I wanted to for my car repair and not listened to the tow truck driver. I'm not sure what he had to gain, but I was definitely steered wrong and paying a hefty price for it. read more

My brand new 2020 Subaru Crosstrek had a thin but very long scratch across both doors on the drivers side from a parking garage, and even though it was not very bad it makes a difference when you have a week old car. I brought my car in and made an appointment at Route 66 Auto Body, and they were able to fix it within the hour. I cannot even tell where the scratch was, and it looks brand new still! I highly recommend bringing your car here for repairs. If I have any future problems and need a fix they are the first on my list. read more

I was lucky to find this little shop when my cherry 1993 Camry got smacked by a teen-age driver a couple of years ago. By all rights the car should have been a total, but Lon found a way to work with the insurance company to get everything back to beautiful. So this time I didn't even bother going anywhere else for an estimate. Lon has retired, but once again the work was done quickly and the car came back gorgeous. Route 66 is a competitive no non-sense type of business that I appreciate dealing with. My car was struck by a driver who decided to flee and leave me holding the bill. Well not only was I pleasantly surprised to learn Route 66 was already approved by my insurance company, but they gave me an estimate and finished my vehicle repair in the time they quoted me. Tony and his son(Tony also) were very professional and did not try and up-sell anything I did not need or that was not on the estimate provided to my insurance agent. Thankfully they were still able to get it back to me by the weekend! "A" pillar not attached properly, probably broke a mounting tab. Scratched my dash removing windshield, at least they removed it the second time as the first attempt they painted over the seal. I went to route 66 auto body to get a Rhino Lining sprayed in my truck bed. When I dropped it off I asked the girl working in the front office a few questions about where it would get sprayed and how they would handle different little things. One of my concerns was the factory stock bed lighting that is up under the side railing. She told me that the lights would be removed and re-installed no problem. Well guess what happened. I went to pick up my truck and they sprayed right over them. I went back into the office admittedly a little worked up because I was assured this wasn't going to happen. Tony came out to look, at it pulled my truck into a bay and peeled all of it off the lights by hand. He seemed pissed. I still can't tell if he was pissed at me for being worked up, or pissed at the guy or gal who sprayed over the lights. He did offer to replace the lights in the end to try and make it right. But, the lights still work and aren't obstructed anymore. The lack of attention to detail is astounding. Perhaps their service on actual auto-body work is better. But I'd think twice about getting a spray in liner put in here. read more

had an accident on our way out of town for good. we weren't happy. we were guided to route 66 ab and we couldn't be happier. Tony and Matt were sweet, gave us an estimate right away and was able to service our car (cosmetic/body damage) right away. we brought the car in on Thursday and it was ready Friday afternoon! they offered to drive us from the car rental place as well. There was one problem. the part they ordered came in defective (cracked but functional) and they offered to get another part and replace it. we were leaving town and didn't want to wait so i asked for a discount and they happily obliged. they took half off for the part even though it wasn't their fault. They even offered to mail us a new part when they got it in. We decided to keep the part because we were pressed for time. Really stand up guys doing good work.
