He always makes excuses like "It was too cold to paint it, the shop was only 55 degrees", "We can't get to the shop, it has 4 feet of snow in our road", I'm going on a planned vacation to Italy and will be gone 2 weeks, but we are deep into your paint job and will get her to you ASAP", then I find out he hasn't even started painting it yet. He has a great telephone persona, but fails to deliver on his promises. My "1 owner from new" FJ60 ended up being at least a second owner. He claims the original owner died and the son titled it in his name afterwards. Purchased in November. 8 months later, NO TRUCK!!!!!!! My next step is to contact the AZ Attorney General's Fraud Department and have them investigate.

I must say, my experience has been nothing short of excellent. Just yesterday, I needed to get some work done on my truck, and they were incredibly accommodating in fitting me into their schedule. They understood my time constraints while I was in Flagstaff and managed to complete the job within the promised timeframe, which I truly appreciated. The staff at Findlay Toyota is one of their standout features. Every interaction I've had has been marked by their friendliness and willingness to help. They go above and beyond to ensure that customers feel valued and well taken care of, which makes a significant difference in the overall experience. However, there is one area that could use some improvement: the workstations. It would be incredibly beneficial if they could provide "working power outlets" at the workstations so that customers like me can plug in and power our laptops while waiting. Rolled in from California on a Saturday. Been towing 7000 pound trailer and passing thru to Mesa. I…read morewanted and oil change, the time was 3:30. Quick lube had only one truck and it was not getting an oil change. Nothing else going on. I believe Shane was the one running the quick lube and was helping the customer with his diesel truck. Another employee asked what I needed and I said just an oil change as I am passing through and I do oil changes every 5000 miles. On my trip I won't make it back to California before the oil life monitor reaches 0 percent as I was already at 21 percent. He said the lube shop was closed but if Shane said ok he would take the truck over to the main shop and do it. When Shane came back in I asked him if he could do a quick oil change. He said "oh you want a quick oil change " like oil changes are major undertakings then he said nope we are closed for the day. He did ask my oil life percent which I told him and he said you have 1500 miles left. I said I don't run it out and I do changes every 5000 miles. His attitude was well to bad we are closed. The service hours for Saturday are until 5:00 pm. Seems like a service that takes roughly 30 minutes could have been completed. If this was my business I would have taken care of the customer especially since many employees were just standing around and some were tiding up. Only the one person said I'll do it if Shane says it's ok. I wish I got his name. Well Shane thanks for nothing but I will be passing through again in a few days and I will be sure to stop by and say hi to you and the service manager and if that's you then the next guy up the food chain.

I am saddened to say that exactly one day later (on a road trip) my car stopped accelerating in the middle of the hwy going 65-70 mph. This contintued frequently several times and my engine even shut off. It was in the shop twice for a week each time for several different reasons. After taking my car to Findlay Toyota, I have recieced a long list of cautionary problems to be worried about. At this point I have not only bought a car with payments, I have bought a dysfunctional problematic vehicle that will always have issues. While this car shopping could have been a wonderful experience, sadly is has become my worst nightmare. Troy & Bryce have been unprofessional since they were questioned about such issues. Basically they were glad to have passed the problem onto their customer with no ownership on their part to help. These issues put my lIfe and others in danger, with not even an apology for the high anxiety it had caused. After filing a complaint with the BBB, they retaliated against me for that reason & would not return phone calls or make contact with me. I was basically yelled (& spit) at by Troy simply just bringing this to his attention and thus this created a very hostile environment for me and my family. I have heard from several people at auto shops & Findlay Toyota that they constantly are fixing cars from them. BUYER PLEASE BEWARE. Do your research.
