"I brought my Ford F-150 in for some major work, including a transmission replacement, rear main seal, and a new water pump. Parker from Nissan Subaru handled everything and was absolutely phenomenal to work with. He kept me updated throughout the entire process, explained the timeline clearly, and made sure there were no surprises. It is hard to find a shop you can trust with this level of heavy-duty repair, but my truck is running perfectly now. Highly recommend asking for Parker if you want honest communication and quality work!" read more

If I could leave zero stars, I would, so here's my honest experience. I would not recommend bringing your vehicle here for service. This has been the worst repair experience I've ever had. After servicing my vehicle, the mechanic failed to properly tighten the oil drain plug. As a result, my engine lost its oil, causing severe engine damage. Despite this, the shop has denied any responsibility. The problems didn't stop there. They also failed to properly diagnose worn struts and strut mounts, and I had to return three separate times for the same suspension and alignment issues. The alignment was still not done correctly, and in less than 5,000 miles my brand-new tires were worn down to the cords because of improper alignment. If you have your vehicle serviced here, I strongly recommend checking that the drain plug has been properly tightened before leaving and having the alignment verified by another shop. In my experience, management was unhelpful and difficult to reach. My concerns were not taken seriously, and I was left with an expensive engine replacement and damaged tires. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this service department. read more

Shame on Flagstaff Subaru. I went there after my check engine light came on in my Crosstrek. After doing an oil change and some other quick testing they quoted me $3,900 for a timing chain and cam phasers. I decided to do my own research on the code that came up and get a second opinion from Prescott Subaru. Prescott took the time to go through the easier, less expensive fixes for my car versus jumping to the worst case scenario. Turns out, it just needed an engine oil flush. I have since driven over 700 miles and the lights have not come back on. If you live in northern Arizona and have the choice between Flagstaff or Prescott, GO TO PRESCOTT. I should not have to become an expert on what is wrong with my car in order to not be taken advantage of. read more

In the process of moving to Flagstaff, and called to schedule my final service for my 2024 Outback Wilderness. After asking for the last 8 of my vin, I was told was that I was still all good, but that it was first come first server. Now that I've moved here, I called again today, but was told I was a week and a half too late. Needless to say, I won't buy my next Subaru from Flagstaff. read more

Thank you for a quick turnaround while out of town and having charging issues. I came in at noon on a Saturday and they were able to get me fixed within an hour. Guys are awesome. read more

I was promptly greeted and knew just what to do next. The service area was clean and orderly. The waiting area was comfortable enough, but not anything out of the ordinary...coffee, water and granola bars were available. Diente, the service advisor was efficient and explained the repair well. I was busy with some paperwork and didn't even realize I had not been updated at all on the status of my car repair even though two hours had passed. Yes, I could have gone and asked, but I was really intent on my paperwork. Another hour passed when I was notified that the repair was done. Checkout was seamless and appreciated receiving a discount. So, the only negative (which wasn't even a big negative), is that I wasn't updated regarding the repair. read more

Had a great experience here. I brought my car in on a Friday morning with a side mirror that needed to be replaced. They had to order the part, and told me it would be in Saturday morning. I arrived at 10 and was out the door by 10:40, at a lower cost than what was originally quoted. Highly recommend! read more

Flagstaff Subaru came through for a Client on short notice today; she was driving in 120 degree heat when her Outback started throwing error codes in traffic. To be safe, I called immediately and spoke with Diante Johnson (Service) and he set her up with an immediate, same day appointment to make sure all systems were functioning. He understood the importance of checking the vehicle right away and provided helpful info on possible causes. Upon arrival at the dealership, she met with Derek Bosch (Service) and he noticed the error code had something to do with the ambient air temperature, made some immediate adjustments with an air filter and was kind enough to extend this quick repair at no charge. Both Diante and Derek went above and beyond to assist my Client with exceptional service and we are truly grateful to the Flagstaff Subaru team for your outstanding service!!! read more

I was only staying in Flagstaff one night but the 'hiccups' the engine had recently started getting were getting more frequent, and I didn't want to drive over the mountain pass with that. It was Thanksgiving so natch nothing was open. The following day I called around but everyone I called with higher ratings was closed. So finally I called the Subaru dealership which doesn't have as high a rating, figuring they'd be most expensive to boot, the way they are back home. Luckily they were open and could see me the same day. I was nervous walking in because they all looked so young and I thought "what experience could they have?" They made sure to get my permission to run a diagnostic, informing me it would be around $95 (can't recall exactly). I walked across the street to the convenient mall and movie theater to pass the time. They called me after about two hours and told me it was an easy fix. When I walked back over he said they found one of the after market spark plugs was coming loose. They resealed it and everything else looked fine. Then, because it was so simple, they didn't charge me anything! It didn't seem like that would have been simple to find to me! Thank you guys for making sure I didn't get stuck on this side of the mountains for long! (The town is perfectly fine just need to get on home lol.) read more

Derek Bosch, Service Manager did an outstanding job of helping my granddaughter with her Crosstek. He is the best.

If you're a college student, do not go to Flagstaff Subaru for your car; they will rip you off. My girlfriend got a new Subaru from the valley a month or so ago and had Flagstaff Subaru do a full inspection which costed hundreds of dollars--this inspection was not done well whatsoever, there's several leaks that were missed, replaced caps missed, and other problems with the car that were missed because of how poor this inspection was. My girlfriend tried explaining how it's unacceptable that there are missed inspection points and she shouldn't pay the inspection fee AGAIN, but the person who was in charge of her car cut her off and refused to admit that his techs were the one who missed it and still tried to make her pay for their mistakes. When getting her car back from the missing caps, a new person had helped her and said it would be free of charge since the cost of the caps were less than a dollar. Today, my girlfriend had it sent to the shop again to get the leaks looked at and her stereo looked at--when receiving the call back from Subaru, he explained the leaks, yet when she asked about they stereo, he had not checked it whatsoever which he ended up calling back after an hour or two explaining the stereo after being asked about it 3 times. This business is a joke, they are not professional, they don't care about the car or customer, and all they want is your money. read more

Contrasting that with my hometown dealership that will charge you 1,000 dollars to do a $50 fix hoping your Ignorance prevents you from investigating further. Great place, left a happy customer. Next time I buy an another Subaru this is where I will look to buy it! Special thanks to Derrick and his professionalism. read more

I get my 2019 Subaru Outback serviced here and at the Findlay Subaru in St. George, Utah. I've never had a problem working with this dealership here in Flagstaff. If you need your Subaru serviced, this place will do the job. It is a smaller dealership, compared to the one in St. George. I was disappointed that they didn't wash my car after it was serviced. Next time, I'll have to remember to ask. read more

I went with my mom to purchase a vehicle she saw online. The vehicle was there but was under repairs. She submitted her paperwork and later was told the bank would not finance it due to the low cost. Later they come up with a better solution and much more costlier vehicle. My mom was told that would be better for her, although she would preferred the less expensive option. We later decided to get our own financing for the vehicle, the credit union said the dealer is not the best place to buy. read more

I've never shopped for a car by myself, so it was such a relief to be so well taken care of by Flagstaff Subaru. Specifically, Ron on their team was so accommodating, highly professional and patient. We bought a new 2019 Ascent two weeks ago from Tom, and we couldn't be happier with the service we've received. Tom was amazing, patient, and kind. He was upfront with all of the numbers and ensured we were taken care of, even though we brought our cranky newborn with us. There was a small but deep scratch on the door, and he organized for it the car to be taken to the shop for a real repair, not a quick on the spot treatment, and assisted with a rental car for us in the meantime. Thank you, Tom, for your assistance! Great experience! read more

Derek Bosch a service Advisor at this dealership helped me out of a jamb in February. Late on a Friday afternoon my 2022 Outback refused to start. There was a warning light visible which indicated something wrong with the power steering system. Being from out of town, I was worried that I was going to be stuck. After a few hours I was able to get the car started and I drove to Flagstaff Subaru with about 15 minutes to spare before the service area closed. Derek was nice enough to run a system diagnostic, and had a mechanic give my car a once-over. All this was done at no charge. Once I recovered from the shock, Dereck sent me on my way. These days such service is all too rare. read more

We were frantic to find a vehicle, and after much search, we found Flagstaff Subaru with the perfect vehicle, and Jason sales rep. He was honest and told us the true history of the vehicle, gave us his best cash price, and 10 days to take the car with the opportunity to get our money back if we didn't want the car. This was the selling point for us, his honesty and this no risk opportunity to take the car and return for full refund within 10days. We found everything he told us to be true. It was a used truck and it did have some repairs which he did disclose. Wlove the truck more and more every day. We were on a tight schedule that day to get out of Flagstaff before snow storm came in and they completed our deal within an hour and got us back on the road. I've only engaged with the service department, so can only speak to that. They are incredible. I've had subaru services around the country, and the Flag Subaru is by far the best. Terrible. Background: I purchased my vehicle here and have serviced my vehicle here for 90% of my service needs since 2017. Experience: I dropped my vehicle off for my 12:00PM appointment for a CEL. I was told it would be 2-3 hours by the employee who in-took my car. I had a ride so I left and ran some other errands. By about 4:00PM I was starting to wonder why I hadn't received an update. By 5:00 I received no word, so I made my way back to the dealership. Upon arriving I saw the employee who in-took my vehicle. He greeted me but I noticed that he appeared to be confused by my presence. I explained to him that I was here to check on my vehicle. Upon looking up the ticket he said it was still being serviced. He went to find the tech for an update. Upon returning he informed me that the tech and went home for the day. I asked what the CEL was about he explained that he did not look at the vehicle so he couldn't give any detailed explanation but gave me a general explanation. It has been over a week. I tried to call the tech, who was again out of the office. Still no detailed explanation, no follow up. Nothing. They charge you $120 for a diagnosis but don't actually provide a diagnosis. This is on top of the fact that they do NOT provide a status update even before leaving for the day. read more

I had a very disappointing experience with the service depth. Made a.
