I'm very disappointed with my experience. After spending $1,500, my truck still runs poorly. I had to bring it back three times in one month. The first visit cost $1,200, and they promised everything was fixed, but the truck broke down before I even left the parking lot. After another week in the shop, they claimed it was running great, but the same issues returned within a week, and the engine light came back on. I was then charged an additional $300 for a part that they never replaced, despite telling me it was necessary. I'm frustrated and still dealing with the same problems, having wasted $1,500. On top of that when I got my truck back parts were not even properly put back together!!! Either these mechanics are so oblivious that they actually believe the crap that comes out their mouth or they are straight up frauds. Time to find a new mechanic read more

Service was prompt, (and as a young lady who is wary of shady auto shops) they charged me appropriately without upselling or sticking on unnecessary work. Got towed to their shop mid afternoon one day & hit the road by noon the next day with repairs in place at a price slightly lower than I'd anticipated. My out of state student daughter brought her car in because it's been making some crazy noises and we figured it's time for new brakes/rotors. They said the breaks are good but they found a bent piece of metal that was rubbing against something, causing that noise. They straightened it out, charged her $48 and sent her on her way. Just a shout out to an honest business that could have easily scammed my daughter but probably would never consider doing that. I have come to Hurst multiple times since I moved to flagstaff. They are very professional and they are conscious of your time which is very appreciated. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the vehicle I brought in. Very clean and nice establishment. As a women I feel safe here and not like I am going to be over charged because I am not as knowledgeable about certain issues when it comes to vehicles. I feel the need to post this review due to a discrepency in customer service. I came to have tires installed on my vehicle arrived at my appointment time. I have waited for an hour and a half only to watch the techs mount 2 tires. Then proceed to remove and mount the tires of the of the vehicle that arrived with an appointment time an hour after mine was scheduled for. When I asked why the tech stopped working on mine to begin work on a vehicle that just came in, he tried to vrush me off as if my concern wasn't valid. I took time off from my job to get my vehicle serviced here, if time is money they obviously don't value mine. read more

My husband paid $350 for two Firestone tires in 2018, along with a 50,000 mile warranty on them. Went to Hurst today for a repair but they refused to honor the warranty. When my husband clearly pointed out the Firestone brand in their business name, they told him, "well, we're really not Firestone." They told him that he'd have to go to Prescott where that warranty could be honored. They ended up charging him $25 for something that should have been free!! read more

DO NOT come here for an oil change. You will be robbed ! This shop is DISHONEST and simply put, A SCAM. My partner and I needed an oil change. We asked for that and only that. Without our consent or checking in with us they completed a totally unnecessary assessment of numerous things we did not agree to. They showed us air and cabin filters (supposedly ours but in retrospect I don't even trust that anymore) which appeared to need changing. Although I was confused as to why they were checking these filters I OK'd changing them. I am lucky to have a good and honest mechanic where I'm from so I had forgotten how dishonest some are. It takes about two minutes to change a filter and I would have easily done it myself if I had any idea I'd be ripped off. To top this off they left important documents that had been in the glove box thrown on the passenger side floor. In total they charged an exorbitant $176 for an oil change and two filters. When I called to tell them they did not check in with us and were not upfront about the charges I was only told "thanks for your input." Unbelievable. Stay far away. read more

Bob was great about communicating with us as to the progress and updates on the estimated fees. Heading into town from Phoenix for the weekend when my tire pressure monitor went off. Stopped into Hurst Firestone (had bought my tires from Firestone in Phoenix) to have them take a look. They were quick to check them even though they were busy and found the problem. Within a half hour they had fixed the tire for free and I was on my way. Perfect. My 18 yr old daughter had an oil change and then drove to Phoenix. Oil leaked the whole way home. We checked her car and it was empty. After another oil change done in PHX she went back to NAU. She called Hurst and they blew her off. So I called. Bob the manager was so rude. He would not take responsibility. I said what would happen if she drove home without oil. His response was "she would need to buy a new engine." I would never trust them with any of my cars ever! read more

I waited 2 and a half hours to get my oil changed and air filters replaced.. I know the staff was trying to get me out as fast as they could but the organization they have is horrible. They have to get thier parts from a different store delivered. It takes forever. The oil change is alittle on the pricier side but the staff is nice. but unfortunately, for me it was not worth it. read more

I brought my 2005 truck in here because I was having issues with my A/C. I called before going to make sure they did A/C work and they said yes. So I bring it in, all bays are full so I figure I gotta wait a bit. No biggie. They come over and say they are gonna look at it now. I think it's kinda weird because all the bays are still full. They bring my truck up and park it behind a car that's inside a bay, roll out a cart and start doing testing on it. The testing, in my opinion, should take at least 10-15 minutes to figure out what was going on. They walk back in within 5 and tell me the the system is pretty low and they refilled it but didn't test for any leaks. I tell them that there has to be a leak if it's that's low. Guy argues with me and I tell him he needs to check for any leaks or other issues like he said he could over the phone. That's why I brought it in. He argues with me telling me that there's no use in checking any of that out because of how old my truck is. It'd be a waste of money and that I should just continue to bring it in every few months for a refill. Um, no? So we go back and forth and finally he agrees to just put a dye in the system so if there is a leak, we will see it. Paid around $200 for this. Took my truck to Ford and bit later and low and behold, they tested it, found out my truck had a bad compressor, some other issues with lines and such and was overfilled. read more

Awesome service we had problems about an hour out of flagstaff and called them 10 minutes before closing trying to see if they had our tire in stock for replacement the next day. Set an appointment last week and was 3rd on the list for today, no call back all day and BOB thought he could just not call and I would be okay with getting my car back sometime this week. Had to stop in for an oil change on my way back home on my cross country trip from TN to CA then back to TN. I've got a rental car from Enterprise and I was told Firestone did the oil change for them. I called one Firestone in Oklahoma and was told they couldn't get me in that day because they were too busy. I called another one in Barstow California & was rudely informed they didn't service Enterprise. Needless to say I'm on vacation I don't have time to worry about car maintenance & trying to locate someone to take care of an oil change. Going home I looked up Hurst. Spoke with Donna. She was fantastic! Told me to come right on in & they would take care of me. I arrived about 45 minutes later had no wait time to be seen. After about 30 minutes I was on the road again. Had them put tires on my aftermarket wheels which they buffed the paint off of the wheel weight area on 3 out of 4 (1 wheel looked perfect with no damage). Claimed it was cleaned with dish soap and a hand towel. (I power wash and scrub these wheels every year to store them with no issue) Refused to acknowledge it blamed it on my paint, all the attendants had different answers on what happened. I was a stranded tourist and had my car towed to Hurst Firestone. Their shop felt very professional and clean with family-run courtesy. They got me in on a busy day and after spending at least an hour with my car they called to inform me that they narrowed down the problem, they weren't able to run the tests that my older volvo needed for the next step, they gave me the number of the shop who could, and they didn't charge me a penny!! Super gracious, super honest, a joy to work with, I highly recommend. read more

Had a tire blow out on a road trip passing through town from Colorado to California. Found these guys as a Firestone dealer since the tires were under road hazard warranty. They are not a company store so couldn't replace them right away on warranty, but they were incredibly helpful in figuring out a solution and ended up setting me up with a used tire with matching tread wear (apparently very important for all wheel drive Subarus). They didn't even charge me anything! So we were able to finish our vacation with no problem. Very grateful for friendly helpful service! read more
