I took my car in to get a quote for some repairs on the bumper. The lady at the front desk was very rude. When the guy came out to look at the car he did not even look under the car in see how damage there was, which there was quite a bit of damage under the bumper. No one was wearing a mask and there was $30 COVID charge on my quote. At least wear a mask if you going to charge me a COVID FEE! read more

This body shop has AWFUL customer service. We had previously called regarding getting an estimate on our vehicle, the receptionist was rude over the phone and had an attitude. Upon arrival we checked in with the receptionist, she had the same nasty attitude in person as she did over the phone. Then Kevin (one man in charge of body work and estimates) came out to look at the vehicle. He claimed he couldn't give an estimate because we had not decided on a place to have the vehicle fixed (that is so absurdly unprofessional). I told him that, that was odd to me as any normal person would likely want to get estimates. He would not hear me out and as the conversation progressed he got more and more rude, at one point he got in my face. I told him he is ridiculous and that he lost a potential customer and that I would never recommend this body shop. So, my newly fixed up car, went backwards down a hill and slammed into the ground when it leveled. This resulted in some very bad damage to the back and bottom of my car. The damage was fixed very well, and working with the owner and his associate was always pleasant. The major complaint and -2 stars is the fact that they initially estimated 2 weeks at MOST to fix. It ended up being over a month. This really ran out my rental, and if not for my waving my arms, I would've paid out of pocket for several days for the rental. The main problem is communication, and they were essentially waiting the whole time they had my car with my insurance company rep. When calling my insurance rep., he said that he was waiting on LATHAMS. Someone was either pointing fingers, or the communication broke down to the point that there was ignorance on both sides. Regardless of who is to actually be at the root cause, what suffered was me as a customer. The amount of frustration, and having to facilitate and mediate between the two companies THAT I WAS PAYING, was unbelievable and outrageous. read more

I just bought a truck for 1500, it's not the best truck. I also bought this truck to learn something about vehicles. For some reason the door on the driver side wasnt closing. I called and asked if that's something they could help me with they said yes. I get there and no one knows what time talking about and this older looking white guy comes out, I showed him my door then he proceeded to tell me my truck needs a lot of work and not even listening to my problem and essentially told me there's nothing he can do for me. read more

I recently had my car done by Latham's a week ago and they did a great job in fixing the damage. My car had a big dent in the rear bumper from an accident a month ago. I dropped off the car for about 10 days, and when I got it back, my car looked like it was new. I worked with Kevin, one of the two managers. He was very courteous, professional and knowledgeable. I had an accident in Flagstaff and because I live near Phoenix, I was apprehensive about using someone who I knew nothing about nor did I know anyone who could recommend a good repair shop. This was not an issue with Latham's. Kevin was the estimator/manager who I dealt with, and he was both courteous and knowledgeable. He worked seamlessly with both me and my insurance company. The work Latham's did for me was excellent. The colors match, and because I had a front-end collision I was concerned primarily about the car's mechanical and electrical performance. I wanna first by saying how absolutely amazing these people are. My Chevy Volt was a total loss when a lady hit from behind thankfully nobody was hurt. Living in California I had to leave the car in Arizona because that was where the accident happen. When i called Latham's to get my sunglasses out of the car they where so very helpful they did a thorough inspection of the car to make sure i didn't leave anything else. When i received the package from them they had taken the plates off my car also which meant so much to me because i miss that car so much. I was so very pleased with the outcome of the repair. Not only was the repair completed in 2 days but Latham's also took the time to clean the inside of our "farm truck" (dog hair, dust, hay, etc.) which was not at all expected. All I can say is wow. Just brought a van in for an estimate for repairs. I spoke with Dean Swanson to get an estimate for a minor fender bender. This would have been my eighth vehicle to have work done at Latham's. I asked Dean to notate down to make sure my interior is clean after all work was done. I had a prior vehicle serviced here and left the inside a mess. I thought this was helpful information to make sure doesn't happen again. Upon completing the paperwork Dean when inside and then returned a few minutes later informing me that they do not want to work on my vehicle because they feel they were not going to make me happy. I asked him if I was rude he declined to answer he just said we don't want to work on your vehicle. I'm just very shocked that they're turning my business away because I informed him about the problem I had in the past with one of my vehicles. What a shame. I guess it's for the best. My sons car was in a accident and I took his car to Lathams Collision to get fixed. I got a call from Lathams saying the car was done; when I picked up the car the fender and door didn't line up and the car was pulling to the right. I have taken the car back 5 times to get fixed. The last time I went to pick up the car Val Latham said that the car was fixed the car was still pulling to the right then he said the car need brakes, then tires. Me and my son have paid over 2000 dollars out of our own pocket and the car is still not fixed. if your in a accident don't take your car to Lathams Collision because you will get the run around. I wish there was a negative star because that is what Lathams Collision should have for its rating. The car is only one year old read more
