Excellent experience start to finish. They were closed on Sunday, so I left a message about my leaky, chipped windshield. Rep got back to me at 7:30am Monday morning, got my insurance rep on the phone for me, scheduled the tech to come to my work so I didn't have to take time off to get the repair done. Tech who did the install showed up EARLY of all things! Had it done in less than an hour and was on his way. Firm handshake, clearly enjoys his job, smiling kind of guy. Absolute pleasure to work with. Apparently the last company who replaced the windshield on this did a horrible job, which is why it was leaking all over the place inside my FJ! Warrantee is lifetime - as long as I own the vehicle, they will stand behind their work. If you're having glass issues, call them. Just do it. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Gregg was so helpful and fast. My husband, 5 year old, and I are on a road trip from California to Colorado. We took a rock in our windshield 1st day out that grew into a crack halfway across the windshield. We decided it needed immediate attention, so we took a detour to Flagstaff on our way out of the Grand Canyon. On the way I called several auto glass places, but no one had our windshield in stock. It was a Friday, and the earliest we could get an appointment was Monday with one of the big national chains. No help there. I worked my way down the listings, and called Storm Auto Glass. The owner/technician came out to my worksite where my car was parked, and after realizing that I had given him the wrong information on my car, he quickly found the correct windshield and came back and installed it the same day, and best of all he was cheerful and kind even though I had caused him to make an extra trip (thanks for being awesome!) My car had a cracked windshield, and one of the repair places listed with my insurance company was Storm Auto Glass. They made an appointment to come out to my house to replace it the week before Thanksgiving. When I got home that day the windshield was not fixed, and I had a message on my phone from Maggie informing me that they were not able to replace it because my car had been locked. She was upset because when she called all she was able to access was voice mail. I do not have a smartphone and can't take my cell phone to work. All I have is a cell phone, and when I'm at work and don't have it with me, calls go to voice mail. The next morning I called to get this straightened out. Maggie informed me that she ALWAYS tells people that they need to leave their car doors unlocked. Well, she forgot to tell me, but I let her blame me so she would calm down and we could get this taken care of. I thought that since the windshield was coming out accessing my car would not be an issue, but apparently it is. I'm not a windshield repair person and didn't know this without being told. She told me she'd get with someone to see when they could come out to repair the windshield and would get back to me in a few minutes. Three hours later she had not gotten back to me and I needed to know when they would be coming out so I would know if I could take the car to work, so I called her to find out, and she gave me the snarky voice with pleasant words treatment. I learned that they would not be coming out that day. OK, I could take the car to work. The following day I called to see when they were coming out, and told her I would leave a rear door unlocked, since the dark window tints in the rear would keep anyone walking by from seeing that the door was unlocked, and they could easily open the door and reach inside to open the front door to get in to change the glass. Maggie took a real snarky tone and told me that as 11:11 am that day they were no longer doing auto glass, and that I should find someone else. I called the insurance company, and the insurance lady who directs people to the auto glass repair places was surprised to hear about the way I was treated. She apologized for having directing me to Storm Auto Glass, and I told her no worries, its not her fault, she had no way of knowing. Helpful person that I am, I even told her that I'd been told they no longer do auto glass by Storm Auto Glass itself. Maybe she'll do other people a favor and use the other choices that she has available. We found another auto glass shop, but the wait was longer. That makes perfect sense, because if you treat people badly, word will get around and you won't have as many customers to worry about. The other auto glass shop came out and fixed the windshield with no issues. BTW, I still have her calls saved in voice mail in case anyone wants to dispute this. If you need your auto glass repaired I very strongly urge you to go elsewhere. On the other hand, since I'm told that as of 11:11 am on a day the week before Thanksgiving they are no longer doing auto glass, this might not be an issue anyway. read more

These guys were wonderful! We were on our way to the Grand Canyon and the passenger window was stuck down. Normally not a big deal except this is a 5 hour drive and even in AZ it got cold. We had left at 5:30am and reached flagstaff by 8:30. At 8 we started calling auto and glass shops down the yelp list. Everyone told us they were too busy to pull the glass up, that is until we called Storm Glass. They were super friendly and told us to come on down and they'd take care of it. LIFE SAVERS! As soon as we pulled in we were greeted and helped. They fixed the window in less than 15 minutes and didn't even charge us. These guys saved my butt by going above and beyond. I was on a cross-country road trip and on the way towards Flagstaff a semi kicked up rocks and put a couple of gnarly chips in my windshield. We were worried about them spreading, so we wanted them to be fixed right away. Unfortunately I couldn't get to Flagstaff until 30 minutes after they closed. AWESOME staff & friendly front office. The last thing I need is another account but I created a Yelp account after my experience with Storm Auto Glass. I scheduled my windshield repair but then had to reschedule several times due to work constraints. Greg offered to get me in on the weekend (off hours) just to meet my schedule. Traveling thru flagsltaff AZ the heat caused our windhsield to crack. Throughout the next few hours the crack continued to grow.
