My family and I were on vacation and got a rock chip in our windshield. After striking out with Safelight and Safepro, we found Diamond Auto Glass. They were able to see us right away and were very friendly and professional. In addition to fixing the rock chip we came in for, our tech found another rock chip, which he repaired as well. We used Diamond to tint our entire car. Less than 6 months after completion the tint started to chip and bubble. Stuart the owner offered to replace it for free but unfortunately we moved out of state. Instead he put us in touch with the rep to have the tint sent to a local shop. However the rep was not responsive and unable to help resulting in our issue not fixed. Stuart offered a full refund on the project which we happily accepted so we can get our job botched job fixed. It's been 4 weeks and multiple calls/messages left with no refund check. The owner Stuart will not return the multiple messages that were left for him. read more

Unfortunately I had a rock slam my windshield on I-10 in eastern Arizona on our way to Phoenix. I called a another company that someone suggested and scheduled an appointment. I got a call back from them to say they couldn't provide the windshield I needed. It says Super Duty on the visor of the windshield and that is how my boss wanted it. I just so happened to see one of Diamond's vans on the highway that same day. I called them, scheduled an appointment for the following day. The tech showed up in the promised time frame. He has nice and professional and FAST! He got done in about 30 minutes. Awesome! But there's more, the guys give you a box of Omaha Steaks with their service. How can you possibly beat that? I was getting the windshield replaced but then I get a free steak for dinner, outstanding! read more

I have a cracked windshield covered by my auto insurance. I spoke with Stefan on Monday 6/27 or Tuesday 6/28 and agreed to have them replace my windshield. The major reason I agreed to have them replace my windshield over some other firm is that they promised me a rebate of $150. Friday 7/3, Stefan called to tell me they had made a clerical error and would only be able to offer me $50 instead. To me, this is a classic Bait-and-Switch. I had no time to call around and have some other shop replace my window as most places were closed for the 4th of July weekend. I'm sure Stefan expected me to simply agree to take less money than originally offered. I refused to have them do the work as I consider this at the very least poor customer service and more probably intentional deception. read more

I went with Diamond auto glass because they were local and I like supporting local businesses. My experience was horrible. I recommend going with Safelite! This business has no integrity. The tech that replaced my glass broke one of the moldings on my windshield. The company then tried to charge me for the molding ($140). Not only this but the tech ruined one of the interior trim pieces with a power tool he was using. The company denied all responsibility and would not even consider working with me on this. The manager literally told me that the damage was not so bad and that my vehicle was old so it didn't matter. No joke. This business is garbage. Stay away at all costs! Diamond Glass contracts out chip repairs to local Jiffy Lubes. Below is my review for Jiffy Lube on 2014 S. Rural (cross street Broadway)/ W0o-hoo! I am a fan... BUT note the review is for a WINDSHIELD CHIP REPAIR only. My insurance does not cover windshield replacement so I was left to find a place that could do a chip repair. The chip was a little bigger than a quarter. A friend recommended Safelite and Diamond Glass. Safelite quoted me $79.95 online!! There is no guarantee the windshield won't crack so that was way too much to pay. Diamond Glass was only $19.99! They contract the work out to the local Jiffy Lube. I drove up, 30 minutes later the chip was repaired! BONUS.., they offer a 10% ASU DISCOUNT on all services and there is no tax so I ended up paying $17.99 out the door! read more

I had a rock hit my windshield a few weeks back- hard to believe that 10 years in AZ and this is the first time this had happened to me! The crack spread pretty quickly, so I knew i needed a replacement windshield. I got home around noon. Called Diamond Auto along with a few others based on Yelp reviews, and Diamond was the lowest price by about $45. They also were able to come out the next day- in fact she offered to try to get a technician there that same afternoon! I wasn't going to be home, so I said tomorrow was fine. She said they would be there between 1-5 and would call ahead. The technican called at 12:25, and was at my house by 1PM. Very courteous and polite, and had the whole thing done in 30 minutes. Would definitely recommend Diamond Auto to anyone! read more

They required a 50.00 deposit to hold my appointment after I got home I noticed they had already changed me the full amount and it already showed as a debit on my bank account, I wasn't happy but figured to let it go but when I took my truck in and then later picked it up they tried to charge me again but fortunately I brought the receipt and showed it to them and they started making all kinds of excuses . I chose Diamond Auto based on the reviews I saw here...and I'm sorry to say that I was disappointed. The actual quality of the work seems to be just fine -- at least from what I can tell -- haven't driven the vehicle yet and I'm still in the 48 hour waiting to close windows/take off tape/wash vehicle -- but from what I can see, it looks like it was done properly. My complaints are minor...but enough for me to look elsewhere for future service in hopes of finding someone that I'm super pleased with. I didn't have any trouble scheduling an appointment -- the gentleman on the phone (although a bit difficult to understand due to a bad phone connection at first) was helpful and took care of contacting my insurance company for me -- and they were able to schedule me for the same day. I was told that the installer would be at my house between 1 and 5 and would be calling me to let me know a definite time. At 12:50, I noticed an unmarked white van slowing down in front of my house -- I went out to see what it was and two gentlemen got out -- I looked closely and did see a Diamond shirt on one of them --- but no identification on the van (which I thought was a bit odd). I appreciate the fact that they were early -- but would have liked a phone call first...as there was a chance that I would have not been home at that time -- since I was told I would be getting a call before their arrival. Anyway - they completed the job in about an hour (although on my bill it says labor was for 2.8 hours....hmmmm! Not a big deal to me since insurance is paying....but still....) and were polite and professional. When they finished, I asked about the Omaha Steaks promotion -- the gentleman on the phone had said I would be receiving a certificate when the job was completed. The installer knew nothing about this and said I had to call the office. I did call the office and when I pressed the number to connect me to the person in charge of promotions, I immediately got voicemail. I left a message and did not receive a call back. I called again the next morning and again got voicemail -- so I tried pressing a different option to get customer service. The gentleman that answered that call was pleasant, but informed me that he was new and did not know the answer to my question -- he did put me on hold though and found out! I appreciate that! Unfortunately, the answer was that I would be mailed a certificate for the steaks -- and it would take up to 4 weeks to receive it! Ugh! Not that the steaks were the reason for my calling Diamond - but I expect when a promotion is advertised, it should be delivered...and a 4 week wait for a certificate is a bit much in my opinion. Again, as far as I can tell, I have no complaints about the actual service I received -- I was just disappointed as I expected 5 star service based on these reviews...and feel I got about 2.5 star service. read more

I have had my windshield replaced twice with Diamond. The first time the guy broke all the clips on the plastic that goes under the window. He did not tell me. The second time the man was very nice and told me that the last person broke the clips. He said that his manager would contact me to get it fixed. He never called. When I called he said that there was nothing they were going to do about it. Also, I asked for my 2 "free steak" coupons and they said that thew would send them out. I never recieved them. read more

Diamond Auto Glass pull a classic bait and switch. I needed a new windshield and filed the claim through my insurance. Gary Weatherman told me I would get a dealer windshield and ordered it. I was told it would take a week or less to get the windshield. Gary strung me along for an additional 2 weeks telling me the windshield was not in at the dealer. When I received a call to install it the techs showed up with the wrong window and had to leave..claiming it was at a dealer further away. After the returned and installed it I called Gary and let him know that I did not believe the windshield was a dealer product. He insisted it was. I told him I would check it out at the dealer I purchased my car from. After doing so and also looking up the numbers and info on the windshield I found that it was in fact NOT a dealer windshield and called my insurance company who has tried to work with Gary to make this right. Gary is claiming that I knew the windshield was not a dealer windshield, that is was indicated on the invoice that it wasnt and that I signed for it. The parts number is on the invoice but it is not written that is a non dealer windshield. What consumer knows what a part number means? This was a bait and switch. Why would I wait 3 weeks for any windshield if not to wait for an authentic product? I could have gotten an after market windshield in a day. Diamond Auto Glass are liars. BEWARE people be prepared to google number on your invoice because they will lie and switch your product and then claim they told you. They have a terrible BBB rating as well. I used them as my insurance company transferred my claim to them. My insurance company is investigating their practices as well. I will make sure that I find a venue that forces Diamond Auto Glass to answer for their dishonest bait and switch practices. read more

After a rock hit my windshield, leaving a 2 foot long crack, I made an appointment for replacement at diamond auto glass. I had first called another large company that was very backed up and did not have the best customer service. Everything about my experience with diamond auto glass was wonderful. The staff member on the phone who made the appointment was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, they were ready for me when I arrived, and they even noticed that I had given them slightly wrong information about my windshield and the type of sensor I had, so they took the time to drive across town and pick up the correct windshield part instead. I had originally been promised I would be finished within two hours, but the whole process only took an hour and a half even with the delay with the wrong part which was actually my fault. When I was ready to leave, they provided with me with the actual part number of the windshield that was the correct match for my newer vehicle, in case I ever needed to replace it again. This way, there would be no delays with ordering the right part from the beginning. They even put my sticker for my oil change due date back on the window for me. I was extremely impressed with their service, how quickly they did the work, and the quality of the repair. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. read more

Last time i'll rely on Yelp! worst company in the valley.. save yourself money and time. this is by far the worst experience i have had with any type of business. They were there next day to replace my windshield. My paint was scratched on my car when it was replaced. Took me 10+ phone calls for them to come out and just "inspect" the damage. Never returned to fix it. After the first rainfall, my windshield was leaking, took them another 2 weeks to come out and inspect it, and another week to replace it. Windshield was done just horribly, black "cement" leaking on all sides, just looks plain ugly. Would rather drive with a plastic on my windshield than have these rats touch my car ever again. Update: 2 years later, I have not received their steaks as they promised.. keep them now! This company is an example how companies SHOULD NOT operate. I've written multiple reviews on this company. Where do I start? A busted cowl, defective glass and three people..Betty, Andy and the owner, Stuart...all repeatedly saying they had done this for 20 years and never seen this happen! I don't know, it feels like a Shakespearean drama. Here is my recounting of the events of this play...they are probably 80% accurate, its been a couple weeks. I was recommended to them by my dealer and the work was done while my Armada was in the shop. The first alert that the initial tech should have noticed was the gaping space between my rear view mirror and the glass. Any glass repair man should have seen a defective mount on the glass. But no that was overlooked. Also, they pulled the plastic out of my cowl to save 10 minutes from actually taking the cowl assembly off and putting it back after the replacement (the correct technique). The cowl houses your windshield wipers and forms a seam with your car, once the plastic sealant is ripped off, your cowl will leak, etc. So, a few days later while driving my rearview was vibrating, first visit by Andy lasted 5 minutes at my home where he told me he made a minor adjustment. But acted as if their was no justifiable complaint, because there absolutely could not be anything wrong with the glass, they install the mount at the factory, so there was no reglueing it he said. Still vibrating, second visit by Andy and he then said at that point he spotted the gaping space between glass and rear view mirror. Yahoo. Yet, instead they put a new mirror on...again the glass would have to be defective for the mount to not be on it correctly, and according to Betty's 20 years in the business, that just was not possible. That day the whole rear view mirror fell off...yes, in 20 yrs there was a piece of defective glass. The owner stepped in and said he could glue it and they would have to repeat this at least yearly due to the heat! No thanks, I asked for factory glass and he did oblige. I really appreciate that. Yet, I contacted the dealer, realizing that despite their 20 yrs of experience I had better get some help. Luckily, the dealer understood me completely, and he paid for new installation with me paying out of pocket for non-defective glass. This is when the new installer showed me the cowl, again my dealer stepped up and put in a brand new one at no charge. Very stand up of Peoria Nissan and Emilio, the manager, much thanks! Well,why not just 1 star for a glass replacement that cost me out of pocket and my dealer a brand new cowl....well, they were very courteous on the phone. I think they actually believed the web they were spinning on me. They are not malicious, they are just lacking in expertise and staff that may either be trained or conscientious, I am not sure but I think its the latter. You see the windshield business is a dirty, dirty business. And companies like Diamond Auto Glass work our of network for insurance like State Farm, meaning once they are paid, that's it. You, as the consumer have no recourse. In fact, I think Diamond Auto Glass had an affiliate initially install the window because Andy sure didn't want to take responsibility. Repeated calls to both State Farm and their glass coverage affiliate basically scolded me for going out of network because they have no ability, nor will they get involved in your glass dispute. Places like Diamond Auto Glass know this and you are basically at their mercy. Glass is actually pretty cheap probably for my Armada it was $35-50, and if they can get it done quickly, there's the profit. I suggest strongly you go in network with your insurance so you have recourse. I learned a lot with my first glass replacement, I haven't been doing this for 20 yrs but in 1 month I basically can spot a good glass replacement company, and this is not the company you want to choose. read more

Stuart was super helpful! Came in close to closing time and he still helped me file my claim and make sure that he had the right tools and parts for my truck. There was a parts mix up but he got it taken care of and got my windshield replaced the next day. The replacement was pretty quick a little over an hour or so before I could come back and grab my truck. I will be recommending this shop for a long time to come! read more

I scheduled an appointment on Saturday from 8-noon to have my windshield replaced. The installer came out around 10:30 and said he needed to go get some clips to do the job and he would be right back. By 3:00pm no one had showed back up so I called to find out what was going on. I was told by the call center that someone would call me right back. On Monday, I still had not heard anything, so I called again. I was given the run around and asked to talk to a supervisor. I was told they were busy and would call me back. I called again at 4:00pm to see why no one had called back and I was told they would check into it and call me right back. Now it is Tuesday and I still have not heard a word. I just called again and I was told some one would call me within the hour... We shall see... ***Update*** About an hour after I called last someone finally called me back. They said they had the wrong number. The number they said they were calling was not even close to what I had given them (I gave them my call back number everytime I called!). So they said they could come out and replace the windshield by 2:00pm at my office or at 4:00pm at my house. After I had made plans to stay at the office, they called me back and said they could not make either appointment and would call me back around 4:00pm to reschedule. I am still waiting on the call... I would discourage anyone from calling this company for any kind of service. I had a crack in my windshield and called to set up an appointment time. They set it up 2 days in advance and came out to my house and didn't have the right molding to do the job. I reset another appointment time. They never came and when I called to ask about it they said they had no idea when the technician would be at my house. This company is terrible. On September 22nd I had Diamond Auto Glass (DAG) come and repair my passenger window. In the process they broke the housing for the window and door lock control. After numerous (15+) emails and many phone calls I feel like they are dodging my phone calls and avoiding the repair that they fully admitted they are responsible for. I have a complaint filed against them with the Better Business Bureau and it turns out that they are rated "F" with the BBB and there are 12 other cases in which DAG has screwed over past customers. I would highly suggest that everyone use someone else. read more
