I was having issues with my Xbox One X. I thought it might have been an issue with the hard drive and asked to have it replaced. The Fixlab offered to scan the hard drive for issues before replacing it. After the scan they discovered it was a healthy hard drive and that I had just received a corrupted software update. They wiped the software and updated the Xbox to the current software and it's back to 100%. Any other shop would have just replaced it and sent me on my way regardless if it was fixed or not. They even did a full cleaning (5+ years of collected dust inside) and changed out the thermal paste for way cheaper than any shop I've ever been to. This shop is knows their stuff, has excellent pricing, and is straight and up to the point with you. I would highly recommend them for any of your electronic needs. read more

James knew what do cause I knew what was the issue he had to do it cause I didn't have to tool for it. James 10 years exp of repairs was phenomenal. Basically my laptop my fan pin was bent so he use the micro magnify glass and saw that I was right the pin was bent so use his tool and re bent it to its normal spot and the fan was connected well and started working well. read more

So I reached out to them one evening after hours for a repair on a little remote thst controls our Christmas lights that has been part of our family for over 15 years. I didn't know if they'd work on it but I wanted to ask since there is so much sentimental value with our little snowman remote. I was expecting a reply the next day but to my surprise I had one within 15 minutes if not less. He told me to bring it by so they can look at it. I had a little bit of hope that it could get fixed. Next day I stopped by and they looked at it and said they should be able to fix it even though it's not something they really work on. He said he'd update me the next morning. Next morning comes and by 10 a.m. the phone call comes that it is ready for pick up! I was so excited. Once I arrived I turned it on and it worked! I am so thankful for the technicians here. James was super helpful when I brought my mechanical keyboard in for de-soldering the switches and resoldering them on. I had no idea prior that they would be able to repair my mechanical keyboard, but I came in anyways and they did! The whole repair took around an 2 hours and James responded immediately once the repair was complete. The price to repair was cheaper than I expected and the quality of the soldering was far better than I could ever do.
