I have a serious issue with Travis. About 2 months ago I approached him in Concord and asked him if he would solder some wires on an RC helicopter. He said that he had no experience, but as it was simple sldering, he agreed to take the work and charged me 75.00. Cut to last week, after dozens of calls and dozens of excuses, and another 20 dollar charge to replace three more motors. He said that he had spent 8 hours trying to solder 8 wires and that the camera now only worked intermittantly. He said he would refund half of my 95 dollars. I told him that I entered into an agreement to have work performed that was not performed, and asked for a full refund. He yelled at me, said he would refund the damn money and hung up on me. I was concerned about why the camera, which waas in perfect order when I dropped it off, no longer functioned. I took the helicpopter to Hobbytown in Concord, where I should have taken it in the first place. They said the reason that the motors did nto work is that they were soldered on backwards, and that the reason the camera did not work is that the wires had been ripped from the mainboard and the plug was completely gone. Also, one of the mainboards was so ruined that now I have to buy a new mainboard and a new camera unit, at a cost of about 100 dollars. I just called Travis to ask him if he knew when he told me that "the cameras worked intermittantly" that he was not being honest, as the wires had been completely ripped out of the board. He quickly began screaming at me at the top of his lungs, said " you didnt even fucking pay me and you signed a paper saying that he would not be responsible for damages." The fact that they don't specialize in fixing these things is besides the point. We entered into a contract and he destroyed my property. I am having to take them to small claims court. I am disabled and have a traumatic brain injury and these guys are just bullies. I emailed the owner but he didn't even reply. read more

I always walked by this place but never had a need for mac or iphone repairs, then one day my MacBook broke down...........the wifi card wasn't working so I took the MacBook down to this place. I was ready to spend a lot of money to fix the problem because I need it to work, period. Then came the technician, helpful and friendly dude, he looked at the problems and said it might not even be the network card that needs fixing, just some quick system configure! 20 min later it was done and just $40! I left a happy camper so I recommend anyone to go there to get their mac fix!. This Place is fast, efficient, friendly and charges much less than the apple store. I highly recommend. I have a 2016 Mac Book Pro, over the last few years Josh has replaced my screen that went black, replaced my keyboard and all at great price, this morning my iPhone was completely locked up Josh repaired it at no cost whatsoever. I'f You have a problem with your Mac or iPhone "Fix that Mac" is the only place to go, they even have a cute little dog hanging around the shop! lastly I have to say something about the negative comments about this shop, it's been often said you can have 10 or 12 happy customers that you don't hear back from or "Yelp" then you have the one customer thats not happy and they go on a campaign of hatred. ignore the haters and check these guys out you will be glad you. read more

It took them 4 days to restore my mini mac but worth every second! I made the gross mistake of upgrading to Apple's Catalina! Apple wasn't able to help me at all. Yikes!! Most of what I needed I couldn't access on Catalina. These guys worked tirelessly restoring my mac to High Sierra and everything was put back on my mac - even all 10K photos!! They were very patient, friendly and committed to my requests for access to various programs and pages. Really fantastic work! I'm telling all my friends NOT to download Catalina and to use Fix that Mac for any upgrades or repairs needed. Really an excellent team!! read more

This place is absolutely outstanding! I accidentally deleted something that made it so the apps on my computer would not run, and my disc drive is broken so I could not reinstall my operating system. I know a little bit about what I'm talking about when it comes to Mac computers but they knew exactly what the problem was and how to handle it right away! They installed a new operating system and added 2 GB of ram just for fun to speed it up! Their customer service was excellent, they are very knowledgeable, and the job was done quick. I took my Macbook Pro (over 3 years old) in to: repair a keypad that came off my keyboard, increase the speed of operating my computer, remove Mackeeper, and set defaults for two of my search engines. The young lady who worked on my computer was knowledgable, quick, pleasant, and professional! She completed the work in about 20 minutes in addition to patiently answering several of my questions. I spilled a glass of Cabernet all over my brand new Macbook Pro...$2000 gone. I threw it in the closet and it sat there for over five years. I went to Fix that Mac in Concord for some computer repairs on my very old iMac. After much effort it was concluded that my computer was too old and not repairable. The good news is that they offered me a refurbished iMac at a super great price and credited my repair cost to the new one. Everyone there was a pleasure to work with - pleasant, helpful and fair. I came in because I couldn't get my iPhone 5 to charge, yes I still have a 5 cause it fits perfectly in my pocket, turned out there was a little lint in it. Bought a Mac from CL and when trying to clean it up I inadvertently deleted some essential start up files. My Mac then wouldn't start and would just launch to blue screen. I took it to them and the tech was very nice and said he could have it done same day. Only 55 bucks, well worth it. I won't hesitate to bring it back if the need be. read more

My iMac wireless keyboard would not connect to the computer, I put in new batteries and that didn't fix it. I brought the computer to Fix That Mac in Concord.
