I walked in with my severely cracked back iPhone 14 Pro Max camera lens only to be informed that it was simply a lens cover. (SMH) This gentleman fixed it in 10 minutes and installed a new cover for $10. No charge for labor. I inherited an iPhone 13 Pro Max with one of its lenses being smashed. It took me 2 days and 2 car trips to the Del Monte mall to get an appointment with Apple's Genius Bar. They ran a bunch of tests and told me it would cost $499 plus tax to repair the external glass, and when I asked if other services could do it cheaper, they told me companies use the same repair service so that number would be standard. Unfortunately I do not have that money, so my next best option was just to buy a lens cover and hope no moisture would ever get inside to threaten the internal hardware. Disheartened, I met up with someone for lunch at Dametra. On the way out, I noticed the Fix It All and figured I had nothing to lose at this point--could just go in and ask what they thought. The employee at the counter, Daniel, was helping an elderly woman whose charging port or something wasn't working. I don't know exactly what her technology problem was, but he fixed it within 5 minutes of my being there and when she asked what the bill was, he told her not to worry about it. I thought that was a very kind gesture and certainly refreshing to see in light of Apple wanting $500 from me! I showed him my phone and asked him out of curiosity how much it would cost to fix the broken glass. He said $35. "Are you serious?! Because Apple just told me it would be $500!!!" I recently took my Samsung S20 to this repair shop for a simple screen replacement. Despite the phone being in perfect working condition, the technician made a series of mistakes. First, they ordered the wrong part, making me wait longer. Then, they installed a damaged screen, causing the phone to malfunction. After a second attempt, the phone wouldn't even turn on. If I could give this place a ZERO I would. My dad's iPad has a cracked screen so off it went to get a new screen installed. Dropped off last Thursday with. "We will call you on Saturday when complete." Saturday because that's when the iPad screen replacement guy was in. Saturday came and went with no call, so did Sunday. Monday was told they tried two different replacement screens but that they weren't working and they will try another one and "we will call you when done today." No call again. Tuesday of this week I went in to check on it and was told that the two screens didn't work. So nothing happened between Saturday and Tuesday. Here's the thing ...took a working iPad with cracked screen in and left with a NON-working iPad and about an inch of the screen absent. That's ONE strike, SECOND strike is they didn't own the breaking of the iPad as they tried to replace the screen and THIRD strike no return calls when they stated. I fixed my screen 2 1/2 months ago and bought an otter box (certified drop protection). I dropped my phone from 3 feet sitting on a low indoor chair. My screen shattered. My husband has an otter box and has dropped his phone many time and nothing has happen to his iPhone. I also have an iPad with an Otter Box and the screen looks like new even after many years. I went in today bc my iPhone 6 screen shattered. I checked on their website to see their hours and it said there's a $10 off coupon for screen repair if you contact them through the website. So I did that, and my bill was supposed to be $70 + tax. But since I used the coupon it was only $60 + tax. The guy fixed my screen within 15 minutes! I got my iPhone 6+ serviced here in February 2017. It had a cracked screen, though everything else worked perfectly. The screen quality itself was on par with the original. I did not notice anything different. Touch responsiveness was as normal too. However the Touch ID would fail upon trying to register the finger. Initially I did not think much of it, till recently someone mentioned it was because I had the screen replaced. So today I went back to see what they could do, since they claimed they had a 1 year warranty. Also to note I paid $96.23 to have them replace the screen initially. Upon taking the phone in, the guy prefaced me saying he replaced the screen for his cousin and it did not work. That to me is irrelevant, as I don't care about anyone else's phone. My concern is my phone and doing a quality job. Upon returning to the store, the end result is the phone is still broken. The manager of the store claimed no responsibility for the home button. As Kay M. Noted in their review, they had the same experience. As a side note, if you repair the phone at Apple, it is $149. You also have maybe a 50% chance that after replacement, the phone will fail calibration and Apple will replace the entire phone at no additional cost (normally $329). This is all covered by a 90-day warranty. My advice, stay away with your apple products. Pay the extra $ for service with 100% manufacturer backing. read more

Mind you, the insurance deductible is $150 and the repair at Apple was almost $200! Since there were no other issues with the phone, I decided for him to do the repair. We brought in our iPad for a new screen. Within a week of repair the home button became stuck under the new screen. We are military and had relocated to VA. We took the damaged iPad to a new "fix it" company to find out that the home button and screen had electrical glue on them. The new company was baffled as to why any type of glue would be used on our iPad. Our $400 iPad is now useless. We paid $120 for them to render our cracked yet functioning iPad, totally useless.
