Chris was extremely professional and knowledgable in diagnosing and solving my computer issue. I highly recommend his services for anyone in the monterey peninsula. read more

Chris provided excellent service in a timely manner. My gaming PC died with its original build and motherboard, so I went to him to diagnose it. And it turns out it was time to retrofit it! Chris was able to get my gaming PC back up and running within a week or so with good mid grade parts. I'd come back for any computer needs! However I was in the area today and I saw his location was up for lease so I'm not sure where he relocated... read more

Chris is terrific. He did a great job upgrading my kid's hard drive. Excellent communication, good prices. I will use him again for sure! Highly recommended. read more

I was referred to Chris at Computer Corner by another computer store for a problem with a Hotmail email account. Chris spent more than 20 minutes guiding me through my options without ever asking for payment [or telling me I had to come into Computer Corner for help.] Ultimately, it was determined that the corruption on the Hotmail account was too severe to be fixed so I opened a new Gmail account. Hopefully, I'll never have a hardware/software issue but if I do, I know my first stop. read more

A friend told me about the Computer Corner that he did a good job and was a fair price. I have an Apple that I didn't want to pay an unreasonable amount to fix. I only needed to have it cleaned of bugs etc. He did a good job and was a fair price. I am planning to go back there next week for the same thing. read more

I'm so happy to have discovered Computer Corner, which is in fact one of the few great resources for computer-related problems in the county. Owner Chris is kind, gracious, professional, and clearly dedicated to his customers, so much so that they sometimes bring thank you gifts! He also turned my problem around quickly, which I hugely appreciated as a writer under deadline. I could not more highly recommend this cool place, my go-to for future needs as well. Thank you, Chris! read more

Chris charges reasonable fees and patiently explains computer problems with vocabulary the average senior understands. When we recently lost WiFi he checked my husband's laptop to be sure it wasn't a problem with the laptop. He didn't charge us a penny. We found out shortly after that the local cell tower was damaged. read more

Awesome shop. I have placed three orders now, the first two were to have an SSD placed into my roomate's laptop and to upgrade the ram. Computer corner did a great job both ordering, installing, and letting me know when the items were ready and charged me very little. I was more than satisfied and am looking forward to finding out how my tower can be upgraded once computer corner helps me refresh my desktop! Edit: My current main desktop computer now runs at blazing speeds, it's awesome. read more

I had the most baffling and maddening problem with a newly upgraded pc which rendered games unplayable, and chris at the store stuck with me and worked closely with me over the week sharing the load of insanity that troubleshooting was causing to get to the bottom of this rare and obscure issue. Friendly and knowledgeable service is the least you can expect here, and if he doesn't know the answer to your problem he'll work with you as long as it takes to figure it out. read more

Chris combines competence, patience and honesty. It is so nice o now have a computer repair person that I can count on.

Flexible computer repair shop that was willing to see me last minute. The technician walked me through his diagnostic process and was very transparent with what he was doing. Charged a reasonable price given the sense of urgency to restore my laptop to its previously working condition (Start-up was stuck on the BIOS screen). Thanks! read more

I can't say enough good things about this business! Chris said that he would have to charge me for at least an hour if he came out to my home and instead offered to answer all of my questions over the phone as much as possible. He spent 20 minutes on the line with me and we were able to work out my internet connectivity issue, without him earning any money for his time. Will definitely come to him again with any tech issues! read more

Chris was so helpful! My computer crashed and he was able to save all of my data, I am so grateful! I would highly recommend him for all of your IT needs! read more

I ordered a new graphics card online and was in a hurry to buy a new cpu cooler. I purchased the cooler from him and installed it myself. I installed the cooler myself and everything was good. I also installed the new gpu I bought but couldn't get it working. If I were up to myself I thought I would have needed to buy a new motherboard, but Chris was able to locate the issue and correct. I am now running everything highest settings and playing with gta 5 with mods; holy smokes this game looks beautiful! Chris is really knowledgable and super helpful during the whole process and I couldn't have done it without him. Thank you Chris! read more

Integrity....the owner told us if he couldn't improve or fix the situation with my wife's laptop that he would not charge us. We didn't give him.much time because we were leaving town, so he didn't have time to fix, but he charged us nothing. Integrity. read more

Most computer IT people are good at fixing problems and friendly. That doesn't necessarily mean they're experts at repair. Usually they have a computer program that fixes problems for them. Chris, at Computer Corner, is an expert! Not only did he fix my computer but he knew why it went bad and how to keep it from happening again in the future. Plus he provided me with some online free tools to keep me running fast and free. My computer was in and out in one day and the repair cost was reasonable. I'll be back next time I have a computer issue. read more

I dislike most technology but yet am completely dependent on it at both work and home. Sigh... My business partner has been taking our aging desktops and one crapped-out server to Chris at Computer Corner for the past couple of years to repair and resuscitate or simply to condemn. She's canny and money-minded and always comes back impressed with his service, clear communication and good pricing, so when my venerable home-use Toshiba black-screened itself into laptop purgatory I brought it here to try and salvage data. Chris was cheerful, knowledgeable, and most importantly intelligible to my moribund analog mind. He diagnosed, explained, and when it was evident that no miraculous rebirth was imminent, gave me options. The one I chose, buy a new cheap machine at BB and pay him a reasonable price to clean it up and to transfer the soul of my old one to the new carcass, might not have been the most profitable for him, but his terrific demeanor and attention never varied. I heartily recommend this place. read more

I've been a customer of Computer Corner for at least 5 years. Chris built my computer for me. It has never been completely satisfactory. I've needed to take it in to him for repairs far more frequently than I think should be necessary. The most recent incident happened the first week of October, 2013. The computer wouldn't start; Chris ran diagnostics and found numerous viruses. He said he needed to take everything off the computer and reinstall it. Well, his reinstallation process lost all my bookmarks, virtually all of my documents and my Quiken! I use Mozilla Firefox, not Internet Explorer. Chris admitted that he only backed up what was in the place Windows (i.e., Internet Explorer) stores things and did not check to make sure that's what I was using. So, my Firefox bookmarks, stored in a different place did not get backed up. Heaven only knows what happened to all my documents, most of which were in Word, a few in Open Office and all stored in my Window Documents Library. What came back is a random assortment of files, including some pictures (in the Document libary?) and many installation files which, again, should not be in the Document library. I'm sad to say this but I cannot recommend Computer Corner. In fact, I would say stay away unless you are very knowledgable and can talk specifics with Chris so that you are very clear about what you are going to get. Chris tries hard to be customer supportive but he talks far more than he listens. He never asks whether the customer understands and is satisfied. He never explains the potential hazards and failures of what he is proposing to do. read more

I recently bought parts for a new gaming and production PC. I wanted to have it professionally assembled and configured. I looked around at a few options and I saw Computer Corner. The gentleman there is very friendly and knowledgeable. His prices are insanely good, and his turn around time to get a completely from scratch PC assembled and configured, with amazing wire management, was much faster than expected and any other place I contacted. Thanks Chris. read more
