As a photographer, I sometimes photograph female models who might be skimpily dressed. My computer is very important to me, as it is a vital tool in my business. I have a Lenovo desktop computer that after a year, windows 7 would crash on me constantly. For a low monthly fee, I would call Lenovo customer support and had them remotely work on my computer. Finally they decided that they could do no more over the phone or Internet, and they told me to take it to the nearest repair shop to be further diagnosed. Since AB was close by, that is where I went. They took their time greeting me at the counter, and they DID NOT do a diagnostic check in front of me as they've evidently done for others writing reviews here. It was a Friday, and they were too busy, which I understood that they needed to keep my computer over the weekend. I was stressed out and perhaps seemed out of sorts to them, as I made mistake in writing down the password for them. Within minutes, I came back in flustered and told them that I had given them the wrong password. I then gave them the correct one and left. So Monday I call and ask what they found, and that person at AB Computer told me that they are unable to repair my computer and to come pick it up. It seemed odd to me, but he also wanted to know how soon I would be there. Sure enough, a sheriff meets me at the entrance. He tells me that he has my computer and wants to talk with me about it. Apparently someone who works at AB Computer saw some images that disturbed them. The sheriff was quite nice, and showed me some of the images found of females in bikinis or lingerie that looked "young" to an untrained eye, but they are all over 18. He wanted to take the computer to the station and search some more. I gave him permission to do so. A short time later, he calls me to pick up the computer. The models were all over 18. However, there wasn't even any nudity, nor was there any pornography (adult or otherwise) to be found. That quickly became a closed investigation the same day. The sheriff told me never to use AB Computer again, and I am complying with his strong advice in that regard. Then I went back to getting remote servicing with Lenovo tech support, and they determined that the harddrive in my computer was going out. I'm proud to say that I replaced the harddrive myself, putting a new one I bought for far less than if I had my computer repaired at that AB Computer. I am writing this review on that very same computer. I'll never go back there!

Sales people need serious training here!…read more Brought in a printout from Best Buy's own website with the TV set we wanted. Gave it to the person who asked if he could help and he spent the next 10 minutes tryting to figure out how to bring it up on the computer. Called someone else who I thought might be a supervisor and together it took them another 10 minutes to find the set. When they finally did find it and printed out the receipt we noticed the sales price was $100.00 more than the page I just handed them from their own website. So, they had to cancel that order and start over again. We added on delivery, set up and take away the old set. The receipt just showed vague descriptions of what they were supposed to do. When we got home and after checking the receipt something didn't seem right so called their "Customer support" number and after waiting 15 minutes got a lady who explained that the charge they used was for installing the set on a marble or concrete wall neither of which we had. SO, AGAIN, she canceled the order and put in the right codes and prices. All good, right? Of course not! Phone lady screwed everything up too. So, back to the store and finally found someone with half a brain to get it right. Moral is make sure to check the receipt and ask exactly what everything means on it. By the way, giving them three stars because the installers were very good. They were 5 stars while the store staff was one star so 3 was the average.

The employee assured me it was waiting. After driving 1.5 hours to the store, I was handed a soundbar in "Fair" condition -- not the one I ordered. When I pointed this out, the employees didn't even bother to check the order properly at the counter. Only then did they admit my "Good" condition soundbar had already been given away to another customer. How does this even happen? Why confirm my order if you can't keep the correct item aside? This level of carelessness shows a complete lack of accountability. My time, gas, and effort were completely wasted, and I left empty-handed despite doing everything right on my end. Best Buy needs to fix their open-box handling process immediately -- inventory should be tracked accurately, and confirmed orders should never be handed off to someone else. At the very least, employees should care enough to double-check what they are handing to customers instead of brushing it off. This experience has left me feeling completely disrespected and deeply disappointed. I expected far better, and unless changes are made, I'll be rethinking where I shop in the future.

He's knowledgeable, patient, and extremely consultative. He explained everything to my parents and sister without drowning them in technical jargon and made sure they actually understood how everything worked. The best example: we live about 16 miles from the closest Best Buy. During the installation, Abisal realized we needed a better Wi-Fi router to get everything working properly and avoid latency on one of the cameras. A lot of people would have shrugged, gotten the cameras mostly working, and called it a day. Not Abisal. This bloke drove 16 miles to Best Buy, got the router, came back, and finished the job properly. He absolutely clutched up. And with Gavin Newsom apparently committed to keeping the home-security industry in business, I'm glad we have the cameras. Jokes aside, Abisal is the epitome of customer centricity. He takes ownership, does things the right way, and genuinely cares about the end result. Central Coast Tech has been incredible for our family. Couldn't recommend them more highly.
