And he fully deserves beyond 5 Stars and he should be the Main Apple Store Manager, for successfully completing to repair our cellphone screen and making us VERY HAPPY, and We highly recommend Mark W., For his extremely great service and we will recommend him and this Apple location, to family, friends, and our high-level business friends!!!!! My store experience was VERY positive, unfortunately when they handed me off to Apple assistance for the next steps Apple was unable to help it took 45 minutes of chatting and 45 minutes on the phone to realize that they were unable to help me what they said was not consistent with what the website said and unfortunately didn't work. Basically I spend 5 hours including traveling, time in the store and dealing with customer service. Then they said sorry you were given incorrect info and it's not gonna work. What it says online is not correct. I'd love it if they just reached out and helped out it seems like the store and the customer service aren't talking. The store would've had a 5 star rating if it wasn't for being handed off with misleading information. I'd like to emphasize I think the store tried hard, but they handed me off to a process that wasn't able to help and should've known that it was unable to help.

The owner quoted a reasonable amount to replace the screen, but a few minutes after he began the repair, he informed me that it was actually just my screen protector and my screen was fine. I had replaced the screen protector, so somehow way back when I must have put TWO screen protectors on my phone unintentionally. Had he just kept the phone for 30 minutes and returned it saying "all fixed! You have a new screen!!" I wouldn't have known. I so appreciated his honesty and integrity. I highly recommend this shop for anyone in need of a phone repair.

I'm writing this in hopes that others can make a more informed decision before bringing their phone to SC Phone Repair Shack and hopefully avoid the headache that was my experience, as I paid $250 and my phone was still broken in the end. I came to SC Phone Repair Shack after my screen broke in hopes of a closer and cheaper alternative to the Apple Store. At first, my screen was repaired quickly and I was more than satisfied with the service. However, after about a week and a half later my phone began to have ghost taps that would repeatedly call emergency services and some of my contacts, which was quite alarming. I brought my phone back and the owner fixed it quickly and didn't charge me, as it was still under warranty. Once again I was happy with the service, though a little wary it'd break again. Sure enough, about two weeks later my phone screen randomly turned entirely white and was completely unusable. It was clear both instances were because of faulty replacement parts, as my phone warned me about the unrecognized parts and the malfunctions happened at random, not when dropped or damaged. I called the owner to ask for a refund, as I had moved back home 7 hours south, for the summer. I also was worried the same thing would happen in two weeks if I took it to get repaired by him again. However, the owner insisted I bring the phone back into the shop, despite me repeatedly telling him I had moved 7 hours south, and said he would not refund me unless I did so. Hoping it was simply to protect from scammers, I offered to send him pictures of my broken phone and the dated Apple repair reciept with a detailed damage description on it. Unfortunately, he simply kept repeating that I had to bring it in and began to get agaitated when I tried to offer alternate solutions. Still hoping to find a compromise, I had a loved one talk to him in hopes that it was a personal miscommunication or misunderstanding on my part. However, he continued to get more and more agitated and even called me "stupid" which I really didn't appreciate. I hung up shortly after that and was dissapointed we couldn't find a solution. While I hope the owner was simply having a bad day, I still was upset with the way the matter was handled and quite frankly a little bit hurt. TLDR: Unfortunately, I would not reccomend this repair shop as the parts were faulty and the owner was quick to temper and honestly a bit rude when I called. At the end of the day, I would be wary to bring your phone here as I spent $250, ended up with an unrepaired screen, and had to spend another $350 at the Apple Store to fix it.
