I went in to get my cracked screen fixed and came out with a phone that's no longer usable. When I went in the young girl at the kiosk said she could fix the screen for $80 and it would be 20 min. I came back and she said she needed more time. I had to leave to Monterey but I told her I'd be back. When I came back 2 hrs later to pick up my phone, a corner of the screen was very dim and the brightness wouldn't go any higher. She called another tech and said they could give me a $10 discount but they would try to replace the screen again and fix the dim light issue. Another tech came to get it and they told me it would be 20 minutes. I came back 20 min later and the new tech said she couldn't fix it and she was waiting for another tech who had more experience but was on break. She told me to come back in 30 min. I then came back 30 min later only to be told that they needed 10 more minutes. At this point I was frustrated but again we waited and came back. I kid you not that when I came back my phone was still not fixed and they had to call a 4th tech to try and fix it. The 4th tech told me she was the manager and her name was Victoria. She explained to me that screen would no longer turn on and it was damage that happened when the screen cracked. She said a piece had come loose when the phone was dropped. I don't understand how that would be the case if the first tech was able to fix it but it was just dim. I asked if it could've been damage from her technicians and she said they wouldn't break that piece on purpose and fixing the screen is very simple so she didn't believe it would've caused that kind of damage. I'm confused why it took 4 technicians to figure that out and why the first technician even tried to fix the screen if there were other issues. I didn't understand how I brought it in with the screen working fine and it was only cracked but now it was completely black. She told me they would have to send the phone out to have a piece soldered and it would be $140 plus $80 to still have the screen repaired. She urged me to consider buying one of their refurbished phones they were selling at the kiosk. She seemed to try and steer me away from sending the phone out to be soldered and just to buy a refurbished one instead. The cheapest refurbished one was $198 so only about a $20 difference from having my original phone sent out and fixed. But the refurbished phone was a downgrade and older model. She told me the refurbished one would be better because more things might break on my phone and I'd keep having to put money into it because it's an old phone. She told me to think about it and she would offer me a discount and she said if they did soldering she would even offer to do it for free but they didn't offer that service at the kiosk which is why I would have to pay to send it out. I will say this, Victoria seemed to be the only technician with any sort of costumer service skills. The other girls seemed lost and didn't seem confident to even be working there. The first girl didn't even notice the phone was dim and when I left to Monterey she didn't ask for any of my information for when the phone would be picked up like my name and phone number. When I would walk up to the kiosk most of the time the girls would be on their phone and seem to not even notice me. I ended up not buying a refurbished phone from them and just left with my now unusable phone. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt but at the end of the day I'm sure I got played. Something so simple that was supposed to be 20 minutes ended up being hours with negative results. read more

I rebooted my $650 Samsung tablet and it would not come back up. I'm tech savvy and tried every fix I found online but nothing worked. I took it to Geek Squad and they told me the tablet was fried and I needed a new one. Someone told me about MRepair and said if they can't fix it, they wouldn't charge me. Having nothing to lose I took it to MRepair near the food court at Northridge. Victoria, a friendly young blonde Russian woman, said she'd take a look at it. I called a couple hours later and she said she wasn't having any luck. It was disappointing but not a surprise so I told her I'd come over the following day to pick it up. She must have viewed this as a personal challenge because her efforts were relentless. When I showed up the next day, Victoria told she was finally able to fix it the night before but hadn't called me because it was getting late (very thoughtful of her and I appreciated it). Not only did she get it to boot but did so without have to resort to a factory reset. I haven't had a problem with it since. With tax, it was only $65 to bring my tablet back to life, which is far cheaper than a new one. read more

I have to give this place 5 stars. Let me tell you a story. I needed a new battery for my phone. I can change phone batteries my self and I just needed the battery. I called many other places and they wanted to charge me $80 dollars for just the battery. I can fix it myself, like I previously said. I don't need to be charged for labor. Anyways, I called this place and they charged me a fair price for a battery. I should of called this place first. Instead I wasted my time calling all the completion places, the well known places. The funny thing was when a guy came in with a box of phones and said ill pick it up tomorrow morning. Then I asked the guy what's the story with this phones and he said oooh they fix phones tooo but not Samsungs basically they take phons to fix tell the customers 2days and bring them here to us, we fix them and they charge extra to make some profit. Horrible service! We toke my girlfriend's phone to get fixed, everything went perfect. After two weeks it started to act up. The face recognition stopped working and they the whole phone went white. We couldn't take it sooner cause we were out of town, but we took it today and they were putting every excuse to not help us out. Instead the lady tried to sell me a different phone. read more

Went in to get a screen replaced. Everything was going ok with my phone I did noticed that right after my screen was changed it would take my a few taps here and there to enter an app or change pages. I didn't think much of it, something minor. Around a month later my phone was unable to capture my finger print in the screen. Went in so I could get it replaced told me they were unable to replace it since my screen had a small dent. Ended up paying $49.15 to get my screen repaired AGAIN! Due to their error, not mine! Beware. I took my device in. Two hours later when I came to pick it up they returned it completely broke. My device was not broken before, I just needed a new screen. The guy said he would fix my device for 3x the price they had originally asked for. When I came home, I realized they had stolen my SIM card. Took it there - the guy who fixed my phone was very friendly and professional. And he was very fast as well. He fixed it within 30 minutes. I was very happy with the result. The cases seem cheap quality and prices are ok but not reasonable in my opinion. The reason i decided not to purchase anything from this place is because the sales man was very rude to me after i asked him if i could get the case he recommended for $22 instead of $25 which is all i had. DO NOT COME HERE !!!! They are so fast to take your money!!!! I took my phone to get fix they pre order the part paid $20 they told me to come back Tuesday I go back the part is not there. They call me on Thursday to go and I told her I am working so she asked when can you come. I said idk I will just show up and she's like well the tech is only here certain days. I was like then why ask me when do I want to come since am Working in her time tell me when she's working. I show up on Saturday at 11 took her a long time to fix my phone got it back at 1. I rarely post anything negative, I keep to myself even if somethings not right because I know how it is to work in customer service. ANYWAYS, so may 1st I was able to fix my cracked iPhone, I was walking around, and I knew there were different kiosks inside.. so I wanted to see which one would be the best deal. So first I went to the little kiosk that's in front of F21 and I had asked the guy how much it would cost to get it fixed and he told me he would do it for 70 and he'd be ready in 30 min at the most. So I said thanks I'm going to look around, then I go to the next little kiosk in front of VS and it's a younger guy with a Strong accent. Well I asked how much it would be and he told me 90! So then I said okay thanks. Then I walk down the mall and find another kiosk near the food court and apparently it is connected to the place I just asked but at the time I didn't know that. So I talk to Victoria about the price and when she told me almost 100 I was like oh!! But I just said thanks but no thanks. But then she starts telling me how she was bored and would offer me a discount so I told her about the first offer being 70, then the next 90, and then her almost 100.. so she starts showing me the prices on a paper telling me she's not lying that those are the prices but she was willing to give me a free screen protecter, charge me $80, AND a 90 day warranty. So I was all for it! So I leave my phone with her and end up waiting like 30 min which isn't bad at all! I was so excited because I was finally able to see things clearly and not cut my thumb on the broken glass! She had asked me if I could leave a good yelp review and I said of course because I'm all about that yelp life nowadays! Well I went home and told my sister about how she should go there next time because it was a good deal! The funny thing is she said she did and even had Victoria help her but charged her 120 telling her it's a good deal and she would even give a screen protector for free! That would've been me too if I hadn't checked other prices. Anyways I started noticing my phone would tweak, it would press a button that I didnt choose or sometimes not let me respond to calls. I thought it was just adjusting and it would be back to normal soon. Nope. It actually only got worse day after day. So I had gone in and talked to the guy with the accent and showed him my phone and he told me to come back when the manager was there because he hadn't fixed a problem like that and wasn't sure how to. He even told me that he would have gotten frustrated if that was his phone. So a week later, because i had been working and didn't have time to go, I came in to see about fixing the phone since I had a 90 day warranty, and my receipt. I decided to talk to Victoria since I had a good experience. Unfortunately, it wasn't the same experience the second time around. She looks at the phone for awhile and then tells me she sees this little line in the phone and I barely could see it, and she tells me the inside of the phone is cracked.. so I said okay well can I just get the phone fixed because by this time I couldn't even put in my password because it would start pressing numbers for me and I needed a working phone. She starts telling me that she is going to have to charge me for the screen again! I had told her how I have no extra money to be spending on a phone I just got "fixed", so she tells me she could give me a discount and charge me $50 instead and I'd get a free screen protector! i had asked her why? if I have a warranty, and this issue wasn't even my fault. Then she tells me it's because of the little crack inside that if it wasn't there she would do it for free but since it's there it's like getting my phone fixed all over again and that she'd have to charge me. So I started stressing, I had asked her if she could just use the same screen that I just wanted the glitching to stop. But she said it would be $49. I wasn't going to go for it because I am so broke but i remember her giving me a $10 off card for next time I need something worked on.. so I said perfect! I have a $10 off so I won't feel too bad spending more money on fixing the phone. The only thing is she said no. It's only for full priced items. So I just stood there and was kind of shocked. I had asked if there was anyway at all I can have it fixed somehow because now I'm phone-less and broke. She said no that even if I were to speak to the manager that he would just say the same thing. She said I could just call the kiosk if I wanted to, and ask if he's there and come in when he is. So I said "okay, so there's literally nothing to do at all without paying another $50 for an issue that wasnt my fault to begin with?" She said no and she handed me another $10 off business card with Victoria written on the back. She told me if I change my mind and want to pay the $50 just to call in and ask for her.
