On January 7, 2026, Fix Station diagnosed my iPhone 16 Pro as having a damaged motherboard and presented me with the option of trading it in for one of their phones. I was sold a used, unlocked iPhone 16 Pro from their display case for $850 cash (they do not accept credit cards), based on the representation that the phone was fully functional and suitable for normal use. Within hours, the phone showed serious defects, including failure to charge properly and rapid battery drain. I returned to the store within 22 hours (January 8, 2026) to return the phone and request a refund. The staff refused to refund me and claimed--without evidence--that I had damaged the phone. A partial refund was briefly offered and then withdrawn after a heated confrontation, which I recorded. I clearly stated that I did not consent to repairs and did not want a newly purchased phone to require fixing. I requested only a refund. Law enforcement was present to document the refusal to refund a defective product. I have since sent a formal demand letter requesting a refund and have received no response. I am now preparing to pursue this matter in small claims court. I paid $850 cash for a phone that did not work, lost my trade-in phone, and was forced to purchase a replacement elsewhere just to be able to work. My phone fell off a roller coaster and was completely smashed. Fuad did a diagnostic to determine if I could recover the most recent photos that weren't backed up. I didn't have an appointment. Had an issue with my oppo reno 11pro type c port. I always had to play around with the usb cable in order to get it charge. I highly recommend Fuad and Cedric at the Fix Station if you have a broken smart phone or iPad! My son and his best friend got in a tug-of-war over an iPad and the iPad ended up having a broken LCD screen. This is a deeper problem than just a crack in the glass and we didn't think it would be repairable. It was a $700 iPad. We brought it to the fix-it station and in 45 minutes they had replaced both the LCD screen and the glass perfectly. The cost was $250, so this saved us a lot of money. I told the owner this was just like the battery I had just had replaced, and asked if he could do something to fix it. He had no interest in holding himself or his product accountable. While AT&T provided an alarmist POV, saying that it's so damaged that I shouldn't even been touching it, Fuad looked at it and said, yeah, it's a battery problem but otherwise the phone is in great shape! So, my advice is, before you go out and get a new phone, go to these guys. They can fix it and/or provide you options that aren't incentivized by an AT&T salesperson. My Grandson tripped over the cord for my Ipad Pro 12.9" Gen 2 and it bent the lightning connection on the cord. Then I was unable to plug a different cord in to charge it. I assumed the charging port needed repair and brought it in to Fix Station. They took a look inside of the charging port and were able to see that metal wires had broken off of the cord and were keeping me from being able to plug in. I waited while a young man worked on it and after a bit I asked if I should come back and he said, "sure in about 1/2 hour". When I came back, he was helping another customer and he quickly grabbed my ipad for me. I asked what the cost was to fix it and he said NO CHARGE! Unbelievable. Not only was it great and fast service but they didn't charge me and any other place would have. I will always support Fix Station with my business going forward. Dropped my Cell Phone and cracked the display. Called Fredo and he confirmed they had the parts in stock. Drove there and left my phone and returned 30 min later and he was done. When I got home I discovered the display was not working correctly. I called and spoke to Fredo and he said it was probably a bad replacement display. They would have to order a new one and to come back next week. No argument just come in and he will replace.
