After seeing one of their ads online, I decided to call to see if they had any locations in Texas to help with a modification (#1) with my newest Meta gear. They also specialize in selling phones, screen repair for smartphones and tablets, console repair, laptop and data recovery. Norbert was super professional, friendly, and immensely helpful. I appreciated his recommendations and suggestions for my situation and was impressed with his ability to diagnose my issue over the phone. He was extremely upfront about their pricing and their reasons for being in business. It's clear they have a community initiative, for which I give them major kudos. The biggest surprise was the owner, Gabe who was not only extremely responsive but also went the extra mile in offering a discount for rapid shipping due to my timeliness. He was also offering tips and maintenance advice, which was completely unsolicited and generous. This is an example of going above and beyond and it certainly has not gone unnoticed. I would give anything to have a resource like this in my neck of the woods. I genuinely wish them the best. ___________ (#1) Which is only $30. When I dropped off the phone, they said they would call me for update 1-2 days later. I didn't receive any calls, so I called them and they didn't even work on it yet. 4 days later, I called again. They said they found the issue and would try to fix it. They specifically said they would call me back to let me know if they could fix the phone or I would need to replace the parts. Almost 2 weeks from the day I dropped it off, no calls at all. I called them and the staff there said I was supposed to call them and blamed everything on me. Before bringing my phone here, I called and asked for price. After 2 WEEKS of inspection, they gave me whole different price. They were unable to fix the phone at all and want to overcharge me to replace the part. It was a total waste of time and money. I paid $40 just to have it inspected and nothing was fixed. Staff was unfriendly and lied to customer. Make sure to have them write down the price when you drop off your phone or don't come here at all.
