I got my computer repaired elsewhere (in Santa Clara) and they found several issues. - No Windows key was found in settings so Windows was really installed properly by Nerds by Night despite paying for it to be installed. I was also over charged by $100 for the Windows 11. - There were more parts found damaged from being assembled. RAMs look like they were aggressively pushed in. - CPU prong bent. The repair guy I found could tell the computer was placed with the glass down in the car like the NbN worker had done. Legitimately go take your computer to Silicon Valley to have it looked at or a custom one made. Found someone who actually talks to you face to face, is passionate about computer builds, and likes their job. Also respectful to customers. I wish I could get my money back from the damage Nerds by Night caused and the mess they left in my computer casing. read more

Such amazing customer service and care for detail! I had my screen get completely shattered due to my blinds falling on my MacBook Pro -Neiman was super accommodating, fast communication. He got the parts ordered, picked up my laptop and I got it back the next day (only bc my screen was so badly broken)! And the price was definitely reasonable compared to Apple's pricing! A few days later I noticed the panel around my screen popping off (wasn't too worried bc I could just press it back in) still, I texted Neiman and let him know what was going on, got a call back not even 2 minutes later--he was able to come pick up my Macbook, take it back to their shop, check out the pre-attached adhesive and just re-sealed it no problem and no charge! AND I got it back in about an hour tops! Talk about great customer service and care! I HIGHLY recommend NBN and will def be using their services in the future! read more

BEYOND EXCELLENT AND SURPASSING ALL EXPECTATIONS! My problems began on Wednesday. I contacted Nerd By Night on Wednesday. I received a call-back within 2 hours. I was given an appointment on Thursday. Derek arrived right on time. He is kind, knowledgeable, patient and professional. He diagnosed and fixed my double router issues. I could not remember the password for one of my computers, so Derek was unable to access it. Thursday night I got into the computer and it also needed help. I contacted Nerd at Night and immediately was connected to Derek! Ben arrived first thing Saturday morning and fixed the issue.... without charge. The resolution to my problem was generous, and I do still believe that this is a nice company with good business ethics. Although I lost all my files and they couldn't retrieve them, I was still charged. I guess there was a series of miscommunications on both ends that unfortunately ended up costing me $115. Ben was a wizard! Nerd by Night is my favorite find this year. I feel better now just knowing they are out there. Oh, and also my "nerd" recommended a backup strategy that was $2500 less than what I had planned. My advice to anyone: don't wait until you have a disaster before calling them in for consultation on a system or just help setting everything up. I'm a video editor with some massive and (I thought) complicated storage issues, but just like that, Ben made it super easy and worked with what I had already done instead of forcing me to go through a torturous reconfiguration of everything. My external hard drive died at the most critical moment during my project--just before I had saved the backup copy and the day before the project was due. Ben literally saved the day! He met me at his office at 6pm and started dismantling the hard drive immediately. By the time I got home he had already recovered the critical file and emailed it to me so that I could continue working and deliver the project the next morning. I LOVE working with Nerd by Night! Ben is so attentive, responsive and easy to work with! I had him update all my computers and our electronic medical record system at my medical office (no small feat). Ben, the Mac pro from Nerd by Night, far exceeded any of my expectations with his knowledge, patience, flexibility & good will. In one hour he installed my printer, showed me how to scan photos, activated my iPod Touch and got me on-line with my email, internet and we even downloaded Pandora. He clearly explained why my phone interfered and severed my wireless signal (its wireless frequency is the same as the signal my router produces). He helped me find a charger on-line for my iPod touch so I could email when traveling without my computer. He talked with me briefly about Skye & VOIP & HDMI adapters. He advised me that my former laptop was too old to invest in, that cost of memory fluctuates like gold & it's low now & that since my computer was currently only using 40% of its capacity there wasn't a need to buy more memory, but that I could increase it from 2GB to 8GB & even gave me a restaurant recommendation.
