Great little gem in a side mall. The staff is amazing and inviting. Really to tackle any drink combinations. The ambience is jazzy boho with an edge. FIX Coffeebar is a coffee shop in Montrose in Houston. There are very limited parking spaces in the plaza, most of the parking spots are reserved for the other businesses in the plaza. I found this place on yelp and decided to try it out because of the picturesque latte photos on yelp. I ordered the honey lavender latte, expecting it to look like some of the photos I've seen - in a mug, with latte art, and with a hint of purple color. The worker at FIX said he doesn't do latte art, there's no purple food coloring, and the larger size latte doesn't come in a mug, only a to-go cup. I still ordered the drink and it was okay. I enjoyed the honey lavender latte, but probably wouldn't have specially driven out here for it cuz it looked and tasted ordinary and not special. Great vibes and staff!!! You will leave here feeling good and taken care of!! The coffee is definitely made with love here and you feel it when you walk in the door! I suggest you take a look at their menu but they are also willing to make whatever you like! This is a great place for you to work and/or have a convo with someone. I can see myself hanging here more often. It's not very big inside but there are tables and chair options for small and mid size groups. I will be back for sure. Oh watch out for parking! There isn't very comfortable seating and it felt like the AC was off when I was in here. I ended up going simple and trying for an iced mocha latte. Which ended up being an iced latte with a chocolate syrup swirl in the cup. Now I really could've forgiven this if the latte was at least good but it wasn't. I dunno I feel like a latte is bare minimum. Regardless wish them the best and it could've just been an off day. I think if there were decent parking options I would come back and try it again. Some of the best coffee I have had in Houston. They take a lot of pride in making it. Two drinks with oat milk and tip for $12 total. Other cities that might be closer to $20. My mocha was delicious. We have a high end coffee maker at home so we make most of our drinks. Every once in a while we will treat ourselves to coffee shop coffee and FIX was worth it. The shop itself is also very relaxed and quiet. Could definitely come and read for a while. They didn't seem to have much parking because they share it with other businesses. But that's expected in downtown Houston at popular spots. read more

They have some really interesting housemate syrups, so I'll have to get something sweeter next time. The coffee was good but overpriced. I am not a fan of coffee shops that charge extra for non-dairy milks (at FIX the charge is an extra $1.15). In this day and age, regular milk and alternatives are almost the same price from the store. Overall, a small iced honey fig latte with almond milk was $7.79 with tax included. Extra $0.80 for the syrup and $1.15 for the alternative milk. While the drink was well balanced and smooth, the fig flavor did not stand out to me. The inside is well air conditioned and has several small tables to relax with friends or colleagues. They sell several canned beverages like poppi, bottled coffees like lavender lattes, and their house made syrups like lavender and the honey fig. Overall, I enjoyed my drink but would not put it at the top of my list for the next iced latte given the high price tag. read more

Get the honey lavender latte. Just do it. It may be the most expensive one you order in the area, but it is delicious. They DO have wifi available after you purchase something. You just need to ask the friendly barista behind the counter for the code which will last you 3 hours. Honestly, you'll want to order food or more coffee if you're hanging out for longer than that. Jams are good, vibes are good. It's a small spot, so great for a small meet up. There have been several 1:1 meetups while I've been here. Parking is limited, but that's Houston for ya. Quick service Coffee spot on Westheimer. It's located on the corner of a small shopping plaza on the south side. Interior is very small and there's maybe a table or two outside as well. Been going here for a few years now, cant say I'll leave or remove a star for their lack of WIFI, sorry but I'm not going to berate a coffee establishment for not providing me a a free service they aren't required to provide me, that just seems silly. Now if the coffee was terrible that would be something to fight about. I have enjoyed every drink I have had here and have gotten to sample. They make their own in house syrups. If you don't fall in love with a drink you wanted to try they have always offered to make another, though honestly I have yet tried something I have been turned off from. The cold brew was tasty the nitro was smooth. Honey lavender latte as many stated is delicious hot and cold, fig latte cold is amazing, matcha latte sweetened with honey is divine. The vegan blonde brownies from Houston's Awesome Bites Co. they sell are a pure treat and healthy alternative. Their pastry offerings have been slimed down since the Covid scene. It's clean, it's quiet (with the occasional music mix lightly playing in the background), parking can be an issue, but they are a great option for my spur of the moment I need more coffee before work FIX! read more

Lots of outlets though which I like. Good for working. WiFi: Sadly the WiFi situation here times out after 2 hours. If you can deal with this then I don't see any issue! People are complaining about parking but truthfully the mass majority of coffee shops in Houston don't have good parking so that's normal. Majority of establishments inside the loop (montrose, midtown, heights, 3rd ward) all have bad parking but the street parking at those places and this coffee shop are perfectly fine, easy and close. read more
