Ella is my new favorite coffee shop! The coffee "Lizzie Tiramisu" was so yummy and the Panini with prosciutto was so delicious for lunch. The vibes are super cozy and there's places to work with lots of extension cords. The baristas and I think the owner were so sweet! I'm very impressed and glad I came to work here for the day. Also cute puppies!!

Stopped in the new location off Sunset Blvd since why not check them out. I promise it's worth it. Cute little spot in the neighborhood. So easy to get In and out of from Kirby or Shepherd. They offer their great coffee choices. True Italian style in sizing. So don't expect something huge if you ask for a shot of something. Well worth the cost. My latte was the perfect milk to coffee ratio. Plenty of seating to hang out with friends while chatting. They also offer good now which I'll have to try the next time I visit. It smelt amazing. The staff is always so friendly. I was instantly complimented upon walking in which of course added an added pep to my step. according to my husband I am well caffeinated now from my amount of energy.

We love Ella coffee! We have followed Laura everywhere since she was at the park. Great & friendly service. Great coffee & innovative ideas. All they need is to bring back the horchata latte ;).

Friendly local place! Great coffee. My overnight oats were chewy and yummy with fresh strawberries and blueberries. Lots of people walking over from the neighborhood and some open parking out front. Pastries look amazing - next time!

TLDR - This is a cute coffee trailer in Buffalo bayou park near the cistern with a super friendly owner. The horchata latte (they call it horchata espresso) is good. We've stopped by for coffee at Ella a couple times now and honestly it's always a pleasant time getting our coffee here. It's a trailer that parks near the cistern by the skate park. Honestly, I enjoy the service I get from the very friendly lady working behind the counter. Not sure if she is Ella, I'm too shy to ask, but she can make you feel happy even before you get your coffee. I've gotten the horchata espresso a couple times and it's pretty good. I think overall the drinks are good especially for slinging it out of a trailer in a park.

Very tasty. Same quality of Starbucks for the same price. Extremely convenient being right next to the bayou park bike rentals. There is outdoor seating and the near by park ambiance. Service was fast! The two employees in the truck were super friendly!

Decided to stop by and grab a coffee after a run and I'm very glad I did! The setup is really cute and they do a good job of efficiently displaying the drinks and pastries they have for the day. Additionally, the barista was very nice and helpful when I had a few questions about customizing my order. The coffee itself was delicious and just to my liking: not overly sweet and maintained a good balance of rich, coffee flavor that was complimented by and not diminished by the lavender add-in. Ella Coffee is the perfect way to end a run or walk or even if you just happen to be in the area and I would definitely recommend you check it out!

Vibe- This is a perfect "food truck" to stop by after a walk at Buffalo Bayou Park for a nice cool latte or specialty drink! The truck is parked near the visitor center that's by water works. It's closed on Monday and Tuesday; opened the rest of the week. The owner is so sweet. Customer service- Great! The owner explained the menu and was very patient while I decided on a drink to try. Food/drinks- I got the cold matcha tea latte with oat milk and some vanilla to sweeten it; the vanilla was perfect in it!!! Parking- There's a lot near the food truck with a good amount of parking.

The coffee is good and they have unique syrup flavors like fruity pebble and toffee cake. Cute indoors with plants and very earthy tones. Great service. Grinder's Coffee Bar came up and it was right across the street so I made my way over. I arrived around 1 p.m. on a Wednesday. I parked in their small complimentary lot and made my way inside. Ambiance (3.5/5): Grinder's is basically two spots in one. When you walk in, there's a small counter where you place your order. And a handful of seats. From there, you wan walk into a more spacious second room that houses a CBD shop. And more seating along with the bathroom. I sat at a couch in the CBD area. While weed isn't my thing, if you're into both weed and coffee, that makes for a nice one-two punch for you. There isn't a ton of seating, less so than most coffee shops. Luckily, since it was a weekday, I didn't have any trouble. I wonder if that's different on the weekends. They also have free WiFi if you'd like to linger and work or study. Service (2.5/5): The menu is a little confusing because they have a menu on the counter and a menu on the wall with different items. I didn't see that there was a menu on the counter until I was about to place an order. They also have some beverages in a cooler that aren't on either menu. Not the best set up. Service wasn't terribly friendly either. Food (N/A): Since I just had lunch prior, no food for me. They have a small, but appetizing number of pastries and small bites for sale if you get the munchies (pun intended). Drinks (3.5/5): I'm not a coffee drinker so take this with a grain of salt. When I go to a coffee shop, I like coffee shops that still have a nice selection of teas and juices. Grinder's has a small number of teas that can be made either hot or iced. I went with one, iced, and sweetened with agave (for a surcharge). I liked it and the price was reasonable. They also had a mocktail of sorts that was available on their seasonal menu, although like most mocktails, overpriced. While not really my vibe, if you're a CBD person, Grinder's will be right up your alley. It's a unique spot and located in a great part of town.

I've ordered both espresso and matcha lattes, and although I'm more of a coffee person they were both so tasty! The interior is very open with lots of light, and there are a lot of seating options so I've never had trouble finding a place to sit. Wifi is fast and convenient for studying or working. Parking is also very easy. I will definitely be back! I've also tried a pilates class at their attached studio which was a lot of fun! The classes are small and intimate, and the lighting is definitely a vibe.

I…read morefirst learned about Duo through signing up for a pilates class, and I fell in love with the place more through the people and the vibes in the connected coffeehouse. From a chat with the barista, I learned that Duo started because the husband had a love for coffee and the wife had a passion for pilates, so they thought "why not combine the two?" The River Oaks location is the founding store and they have since expanded to a second location as well. The people who work here truly seem happy and are eager to share the stories of their founders, which makes the place even more special. During my visit, I tried the birthday cake latte, which is a seasonal drink, and the flavors were also beyond what I've tried elsewhere. I'm typically not a fan of birthday cake flavored items, but I was feeling adventurous so I told the barista to surprise me with a drink from their menu and that's the flavor they ended up picking for me. When I received the birthday cake latte, I wasn't all that excited but all prejudice fell away after the first sip! I didn't adjust any sugar or ice levels like I typically do for my drinks, yet the drink was just right! Overall, I am just amazed by the people, the vision, and the gem of a place that I sort of happened into on a random weekend. I will definitely be returning again frequently for pilates, lattes, and/or fun conversations. Pro tip: initially it looks like visitors have to use street parking, but I confirmed with the staff that the parking lot across from the coffeehouse is free to use as well. Pro tip #2: there is option to order ahead with the QR code in image attached. I have not tried, but that may help skip the lines and make it easier for drink pickup. Pro tip#3: going for pilates here makes it so much easier to grab a quick bite or drink before/after workout!

Overall, it was a tasty drink, but I wish the pistachio/nutty flavor had been a bit more prominent, and it felt more like a regular vanilla latte. Compared to other coffee shops, the prices here were reasonable given the size of the cup, so kudos for that, especially in this economy... CoffeeTrend also serves cocktails, which is another neat feature about this place. :)
