I visited on a very rainy day and went to the wrong building at first. I wondered why there was nobody inside. I quickly realized I must be in the wrong spot. To the right side of the small parking lot with 3 spots is the coffee shop through the courtyard. I tried the lizzie tiramisu (hot) and the bear (iced). This is a cool coffee shop next to Simone's with good music and plenty of cozy seating. They not just have 1 couch， but they actually have 2 small couches and 4 settees. Their prices start at $5 for the basic latte, but the signature ones are about 6.50-7.50. I liked both drinks quite a bit, especially the bear which has 2 of my favorite ingredients in it, coconut and banana. read more

Such a cute little area inside Simone on Sunset. Came here on a Saturday morning. The owner was very sweet. Helped right away! Seems like she had frequent flyers. I only drink decaf and of course they have decaf coffee and they made me a tiramisu cold foam with oat milk and placed a biscotti top. This coffee was sweet of course but perfect for a Saturday morning coffee. Did not know this bar was a coffeee bar in the morning. Patio seating outside as well. This is a cute family owned nook. Wow a coffee shop inside. Sunset! I've been to the bar a number of times and never knew it! I ordered a cappuccino oat milk. I ordered online in advance and it was ready at the counter piping hot! Coffee was great ordered a tiramisu iced latte with an extra shot of expresso soo delicious. To eat I ordered bruschetta added avacado and prosciutto very fulfilling and fresh. Ella is my new favorite coffee shop! The coffee "Lizzie Tiramisu" was so yummy and the Panini with prosciutto was so delicious for lunch. The vibes are super cozy and there's places to work with lots of extension cords. The baristas and I think the owner were so sweet! I'm very impressed and glad I came to work here for the day. Stopped in the new location off Sunset Blvd since why not check them out. I promise it's worth it. Cute little spot in the neighborhood. So easy to get In and out of from Kirby or Shepherd. They offer their great coffee choices. True Italian style in sizing. So don't expect something huge if you ask for a shot of something. Well worth the cost. My latte was the perfect milk to coffee ratio. Plenty of seating to hang out with friends while chatting. They also offer good now which I'll have to try the next time I visit. It smelt amazing. The staff is always so friendly. I went to the Sunset location. There the coffee shop is run out of Simone's Bar. There are lots of comfortable places to sit and a nice patio. The lighting is a bit dark so it may not be the ideal place to do heavy duty intellectual work. More like a browse and read and let your mind wander sort of place. Service is kind and attentive. Drinks are good. It is not a proper British afternoon tea or a Japanese tea ceremony. read more

Stopped by their brand new location (2418 Sunset Blvd, Houston, TX 77005). Everyone was so friendly, service was outstanding, and what a cute place to sit and enjoy your tasty beverage of choice! As usual, I went with a vanilla & lavender and almost went back for a second one - it was that good! Next time I am definitely getting their signature drink (tiramisu coffee). TLDR - This is a cute coffee trailer in Buffalo bayou park near the cistern with a super friendly owner. The horchata latte (they call it horchata espresso) is good. We've stopped by for coffee at Ella a couple times now and honestly it's always a pleasant time getting our coffee here. It's a trailer that parks near the cistern by the skate park. Honestly, I enjoy the service I get from the very friendly lady working behind the counter. Not sure if she is Ella, I'm too shy to ask, but she can make you feel happy even before you get your coffee. I've gotten the horchata espresso a couple times and it's pretty good. I think overall the drinks are good especially for slinging it out of a trailer in a park. read more

WOW. This place has become one of my favorite coffee shops in Houston. It is ran by the sweetest Italian woman on Earth! The espresso flavor is wonderful!!The shakerato is the PERFECT balance of sweet and strong, the perfect wake up call. N that tiramisu latte. PERFECTION once again. I've tried tiramisu lattes all around Houston n this one is by far my favorite. I love that it's not super sweet nor super milky. When you take that first sip you're hit with the slight bitterness of the cocoa powder which dances alongside the soft and smooth mascarpone foam which then blends into the wonderful latte. That strong espresso flavor seeps into the milk, a perfect balance of espresso n milk. I love it bc it tastes like actual coffee not sugary milk and a splash of espresso. I love how cozy the actual place is, it's perfect to meet up with a friend or two, a date or even to simply study or read a book! Though it feels a bit hidden and easy to miss DO NOT SKIP OUT ! Personally love their novelty lattes They went famous for their tiramisu coffee and they had a season drink "Loki" latte, which was espresso, milk, house made hazelnut spread and it had a coconut chantilly cream top. Decided to stop by and grab a coffee after a run and I'm very glad I did! The setup is really cute and they do a good job of efficiently displaying the drinks and pastries they have for the day. Additionally, the barista was very nice and helpful when I had a few questions about customizing my order. The coffee itself was delicious and just to my liking: not overly sweet and maintained a good balance of rich, coffee flavor that was complimented by and not diminished by the lavender add-in. Vibe- This is a perfect "food truck" to stop by after a walk at Buffalo Bayou Park for a nice cool latte or specialty drink! The truck is parked near the visitor center that's by water works. It's closed on Monday and Tuesday; opened the rest of the week. The owner is so sweet. Customer service- Great! The owner explained the menu and was very patient while I decided on a drink to try. Food/drinks- I got the cold matcha tea latte with oat milk and some vanilla to sweeten it; the vanilla was perfect in it!!! Took my boyfriend on a surprise date to the art exhibit and I wanted some coffee afterwards. This one was in front of us and we decided to try it. We shared a mini croissant and ordered 2 iced drinks. I forget what they're called, but they're from their winter menu -- it was a delicious rose matcha (one of the best rose matchas I've had) and a nice, bold latte with a bit of a kick.
