I had an extremely positive experience at Fix Auto in Montrose recently. Our 2012 Toyota Prius had some damage to the front splash shields between the bumper and the wheel wells. Some of the shields were actually missing, and some of the attachment points on the bumper had been torn out. Another body shop in Montrose had quoted me $3,000 to fix it all, including the bumper. When I told him that I did not really need the bumper fixed and was only interested in the splash shields underneath, they said it was not possible to do the job without also replacing the bumper. Well, Fix Auto did the job for $350. And most of that was for parts. I almost feel guilty for the low price. In any event, I will be sure to go to Fix Auto from now on for any body shop needs that may arise. And they will of course arise sooner or later. read more

I came to fix auto to get another quote and Michael looked at my car and immediately attempted to get the dent out. He asked me to pull the car in the back so he could use a tool to help. This was my second visit to Fix Auto to have body work on my 2017 Chevrolet Volt. Three years ago, my Volt was rear ended In a traffic accident. My insurer, Geico, recommended Fix Auto in Montrose for the repair work. There was a month delay because of sourcing parts from the factory, but I was very pleased with the service and repairs to my Volt. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago, I had a single vehicle accident in my Volt, while traveling on the 91 West, transitioning to the 5 North. I have to admit. I trust Fix Auto Montrose. They have done a good job on my car twice. Although Mitchell is leaving for the Pasadena shop soon, he really took care of my mini-SUV and restored it to the way it looked when I drove it off the lot. I was impressed, a little teary-eyed, and extremely excited when I came to pick it up. I was able to take pictures of my car damage and send it to him via e-mail to receive my initial estimate. He made sure I had a ride to Enterprise before they closed and the first time I dropped it off. He even made sure that someone came to pick up the rental so I wouldn't have to return it myself when I picked up my car. They washed my car right before I picked it up and I was ready to drive off the property smiling. The pricing was reasonable as well with the quality repair job and lifetime warranty on paint that they offer. I would definitely recommend this place to others as it was also less congested than other body shops in my area. The Multifunction switch (Signal & Wiper combination switch) broke on my 2017 Hyundai Ioniq Blue Hybrid. I am paying out of pocket for the repairs. The dealer quoted me outrageous price for the part and astronomical cost for the installation, so I turned to online shopping and bought the switch online for much less. My MBZ has a low front bumper and it often times gets caught on the cement parking stop. Eventually the bumper came loose due to a certain part that broke off. Since this is a leased vehicle, I didn't want to spend a fortune replacing the front with a new bumper. Long story short, the shop was able to fix the bumper without ordering a brand new one ( I think a lot of other shops will try to sell you a new bumper). The cost was also amazingly reasonable.
