I found Prime Time Collision after I decided to wrap part of my door around a post at the grocery store. I contacted Art through Yelp after I saw how many great reviews they had especially with how many body shops are in the area. I met with Art and he went over the damage and the options I had. I appreciate the fact that he was honest and upfront about the process and the repairs. He mentioned that I would need a whole new outer shell to the door because the damage was too extensive. I figured since I was there anyways I would have my front bumper redone as well. I dropped off my truck on a Tuesday and was suppose to pick it up a week later aft3r coming back into town. Unfortunately there was an issue during the shipping of the door and Art was honest and upfront about it and even apologized for an issue that was outside of his control. That delayed the process a few more days but in the end the truck came out amazing and they even provided a complete detail of the outside and inside. All in all the the experience was an overall great experience from the professionalism, the honesty, the price and the overall quality. I signed back into my Yelp account after a long hiatus to recommend this place. Mick and the team are extremely friendly, humorous, hard-working and most of all, they are truly professional in what they do. They quoted the auto body work for our damaged SUV at more than a 50% discount to other nearby dealers' quotes and got the rather complex work done with an extremely quick turnaround. Throughout the process, they sent me photos and videos of their amazing progress. Overall, we were so happy with their finished work. They quoted nearly $3,000 to "repair" a light parking-garage scrape no dents, no broken parts, just paint transfer. The estimate included a full mirror replacement, camera alignment, and diagnostic scans for a car mirror that works perfectly. Absolutely absurd. Glendale has a long history of insurance-repair scams in fact, the FBI literally set up a field office there years ago because the fraud was that bad. Looks like some shops still haven't learned their lesson. This kind of pricing doesn't protect consumers; it exploits them. It also shows how desperate and cornered American drivers have become, just trying to stay insured and mobile in cities built without space to turn a steering wheel. We deserve better than opportunists with clipboards. Same old Glendale nonsense, new address. If you value honesty, get your estimates elsewhere. I came here early on a weekday morning for a quote and met with Mike, who was extremely helpful. He was very thorough with the breakdown of the quote and all of the work involved. My Honda Fit needed a replacement rear bumper after a collision when reversing out of a parking space at Trader Joe's in Glendale (worst parking layout in the world). Mick at PTCC quoted me a figure that would not require me to take out a 2nd mortgage on my house, offered to order the part and paint it ahead of time so that I wouldn't be without a car for the duration.
