Alex responded very quickly and gave me multiple quotes but ultimately needed to see it in person. He did give me a price if the door can be worked on or if the door had to be replaced, which I really liked. No surprises when I showed up. In the end, the door needed to be replaced and I agreed. I thought it would be a more seamless process. Alex went ahead and gave me a quote for a brand new door to be installed and paint matched. A very affordable price, but he also recommended a used door if I wanted to save more money (paying out of pocket). It really showed that he was looking out for the customer! I promise you, all of the 5 star reviews are solid and legit. I sent a request to a few businesses in Burbank and surrounding areas about installing an HID bulb that I purchased in advance on just the right side. (Screenshot of their responses below). Not replacing the whole headlight or anything involving the housing. I normally do it myself but I didn't have tools at the time so I wouldn't mind paying for labor. If you know anything about headlights and bulbs, it takes no longer than 10 min to do with the right set of tools. I have a Lexus is250 and was able to get the left one in with minimal tools in minutes, one wrench to be exact. Lexus likes to be difficult and made it close to impossible to get to the other side without the right tools. Hayk responded in minutes. Quoted no charge. $0. That's right. Zero. Zip. Nada. Zilch. Nothing. (See screenshot below). If he was able to do it without removing my front bumper which I was 100% positive it wasn't necessary as I've done it myself many times before. He asked when I was available to come in, I was out running errands and told him 2 hours from now. He opened up his schedule up to take a look and install it. Pulled up and he did just that. Even let me help out a bit to smoothen and quicken the process even more than it was. It's insane how kind, helpful, and hardworking these guys are. Just good human beings. It may seem I'm over reacting over just a bulb change that got done for free. But you can look at it another way, what auto shop will sacrifice 10-30 min when they have many other projects they're currently working on that could use those 10-30 min of attention. Let alone for free! Some places charge just for their time to look at something. So yes, I am beyond pleased! I highly highly highly recommend this place for all your auto body needs! I have lived in LA for 8+ years and this is the first time I've had to get my car fixed at a body shop. I had an unfortunate incident where the girl parked next to me in a parking lot got into her car on a super windy day and the wind forced her door into my car when she opened it. Sure enough it dented the side pretty good. She was very apologetic and I knew it wasn't really her fault so I decided to take it to a repair shop to get an estimate and see if we could work something out. Regal repair had amazing reviews and was not far from where I live. I requested a quote and got a reply within 10 minutes. They asked me to come down so they could look a little closer at the damage and offered a PDR (paint less dent repair) to make it more affordable (~$100). I was able to bring in my car the next morning since I had to head to work that day. Everyone at the shop was very attentive and ready as soon as I drove up. After a couple hours, Hayk informed me that the guy was unable to 100% fix the damage and that it would be no charge. You can tell this shop stands behind their work and since he was not pleased with a perfect result, he did not feel right charging me. I asked if he was sure and offered to at least tip the guy for his hard work! He refused and said he will pay him and not to worry about it. Even though it is not perfect, they did an amazing job! I barely notice it and I know it was a tough area to work on since the dent sat on a cornered edge. I was also cutting it close to work since I have a pretty big commute and only have availability from 8-10am and they offered to let me borrow a car and just return it when I pick up my vehicle if it went past the time I needed to leave, they also offered me a ride anywhere I needed to go during the appointment which was very generous and kind.
