My gosh...a new spot to frequent for an awesome and substantial Happy Hour! Located within the well appointed Marriott hotel in bustling Monterey Park, right off of the 10 freeway. Parking is under ground and validated. SERVICE.....is out of this world TOP NOTCH in this spot. The guys that work here are seasoned and serious at what they do and you feel honored to be their patron. I had a burger, sweet potato fries, and a glass of savvy b. All were perfect. Came here during their happy hour and seating/parking was ample. This bar is located inside the new hotel and all the way towards the right when facing the front desk (literally the corner of Atlantic and Hellman). We mainly ordered from their happy hour menu, in addition to some burgers. The beers were good and the atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. We were surprised that they charged extra for lettuce/tomatoes on our burgers, but nonetheless, they did taste pretty good for the price! I was first here in February 2023 and decided to come back to watch some Lakers playoffs. The menu had more of a selection back in Feb than they do now; with better food and more variety. It's definitely a little disappointing. Apparently the kitchen is under renovation or the kitchen got taken over by the restaurant next door (Chef Tony) and there's no fryer now. So no wings, fries, mozz sticks, etc. Hopefully they figure things out and bring back some fried food! What's a sports bar without fried finger foods, right? Other than that, staffing is great. Um.. thanks no thanks. Me and some of my friends came by for Happy Hour last week, and overall it was just alright. One of us arrived early, was able to get a table of 4, once we were all together, we had to wait awhile, no one checked in on us, so we had to wave someone down, not sure who it is, but this gentleman informed us that our server will be with us shortly. And shortly did she arrive, she didn't seem that excited, no intro, no smile. She just did her job, took our orders and left.. we didn't see her for about 30 mins, when our food arrived, and that was it. Apps we ordered to share: - Truffle Fries - potion small, truffle scent was strong - Sweet Potato Fries - pretty good, would recommend - Califlower, Sweet Chili Sauce Flavor - it was interesting - Truffle Mac & Cheese - good, would recommend, I liked it Drinks - I tried the Spiked Seltzer, supposedly people claim its really sweet, which to me it wasn't. It tasted more like diet wine cooler with artificial sugar. I wouldn't recommend. After sharing those finger food, it was 6 pm, our server never came by to check on us for last calls, so we had to wave someone down AGAIN. Let the gentleman know we would like to order more food, but it was past 6 pm. He said he would take care of us, which he did, thank you! He took our order and shortly after, our food arrived. We saw our server again, we had to ask for plates and utensils. Additional foods: - 2 Classic Cheeseburger, to me it was very filling, I didn't finish it. It is very messy to eat tho - 2 'Waygu' Beef Hot Dog - didn't try, so I wouldn't know The cheeseburger was worth the $5.55 price point, everything else, not so much. I would recommend getting the burger so you would be full when leaving. It is a double cheeseburger! When it was time for us to go, we again, attempted to wave someone down for the check. We got our server, she said she would be back, we waited and waited, nothing. Instead we saw her behind the bar making drinks, and just chatting up some solo guy at the bar. She was def working hard for tips from that guy. We ended up going to the register to pay and Venmo/Zelle each other. The place was packed, a lot of people coming and going. Everyone seem to have enjoyed themselves. It looked like there was a good amount of the diners being hotel guests. Very dissappointed that the menu was scaled back here. Monterey Park needed another classy gastropub option. The space is beautiful so we had a large party of 12 here not long ago. Everyone enjoyed the variety from the burgers and fries to the pizza for the kids. The food is still tasty but not much more than a few appetizers, a couple salads and a few sandwiches. I went with my friends and her family today for the soft opening of this restaurant. The ambiance was chill and there were a lot of TVs around showing different games. We came at around 6:30 and waited about an hour for our food to arrive. We thought the fries were the best on the happy hour menu. Everything else was not too bad. If you like buffalo flavored food, this place has strong buffalo taste. The prices for happy hour was $5.55. I would come back again with my laptop to just chill, drink, and snack on fries. I recommend that you go later at around 8 pm because that is when it is more empty and food will come out a bit faster. Happy hour is from 5 pm - 10 pm! read more

Fun place to have a cocktail but the lighting is kind of bright- it felt like i was in a special victims unit interrogation room. I ordered a manhattan with the house japanese whiskey and it was very tasty, kudos to the barman. But the lighting; I sent my boyfriend a picture from the bar and he asked "Do they serve cocktails at walmart? ...it looks like 2pm". I took the photo at 9:15 in the evening. The hotel is nice and clean. Great for working as they also serve boba. The restaurant however, has not been a good experience for me on 2 accounts. The first time I came here, they got my order wrong. I was craving sweet potato fries and because I live down the street, I thought I could get a quick fix here. Paid extra for sweet potato fries and got normal fries instead. Called them and told them they made a mistake. I got a poor excuse of an apology and was told to come back to get the right item. I have a 3 year old at home so I didn't really feel like putting him back in his car seat at such a late hour and driving down the street. I told them it was okay and accepted the loss. The second time, I tried to dine in. I ordered the chicken and the waiter wrote it down and walked to put the order in. After waiting about 30 minutes for our food, the waiter said that they were still working on it. At about 45 minutes to an hour, an unacceptable amount of time to be waiting for chicken, I flagged down the waiter again. It was only then the waiter informed me there was no chicken for the night. Great. I get it, sometimes ingredients are low and something is unavailable. But at this point, I waited so long and no one thought it would be courteous to tell me that I would not be served chicken. Maybe it's lack of communication between the kitchen staff and the waiter, or it's the lack of competency. Either way, that's an hour of my life I will never get back. Ended up leaving and eating somewhere else. Wish I could provide a picture of my meal, but I didn't get one. read more

Nice spot to grab some finger food and drinks. They have a happy hour that includes food.we order their wine and cocktails with the quesadilla, wedge salad, flat bread, tuna Tatar, and burger. The food was and drinks were pretty good but not great. It's a good place to hang out after work. There's some lounge style seating on a couch, bar style seating, and regular tables. We had a little trouble finding it when we walked into the hotel because it was pass another restaurant in the corner. The service was good.
