Double Cheeseburger

First time trying this place, I had heard some really good things about it. First and foremost the bathroom were pretty dirty. The people working there very nice and professional. I like the whole peanuts as you wait for your food. As far as the food goes, the burger was mediocre at best, I really was expecting a much better, tastier and sturdier burger. It was an absolute mess to eat with very little taste honestly. The fries were oily and unsalted, again flavorless, which was very disappointing. It was about 18 bucks for the burger, fries and drink. I probably wouldn't come back here or any five guys again. You can get a better burger and much more value for your buck at in n out or habit.

Trash can I kicked away from my table check ur cameras 03/06/24 12-2pm

I went in yesterday n as im waiting for my food an employee who i was told was the restaurants gm literally throws the trash can against my table as im eating i was so pissed n he even smiled about it when I moved it away from my table. Do u not know how dirty n unsanitary n how effin disrespectful that is ? I spent almost $30 for that ? I told the employee n she didn't really care n id like to be decompensated! I will contact the corporate office about this as well with the pictures i took

Broken survey and clearly no tomatoes!

Recently stopped by 5 guys on Carmenita Rd for a quick burger and fries. Placed my order and was told my price! 20.74! Wow! I asked the guy behind the counter "how much?" He repeated and I said wow, okay and handed over my money. He then said we don't have combos! Okay that's still a lot of money for a burger and fries but let's see what we are paying for? Service- not exactly girl behind the counter was rude and seems to prefer not helping customers. Quality- not that either receipt clearly says no tomatoes and yet as you can see got some of those anyways. Top it all off the receipt offers a survey to review the experience but even that does not work so I share here. I understand business is challenged but rather than attracting customers they seem to be driving them away with overpriced food, unhappy employees, and overall poor experience. I would say go to In & Out but wouldn't really matter 5 Guys makes just about every list of brands likely to go away.

my boyfriend and i were looking for somewhere to eat and decided to give five guys a try! burgers are good! decent size and you have plenty of toppings to choose from,, no combos fries and drinks are separate! fries we got a medium and was more than enough for two people and the cajun seasoning was just delicious highly recommend!! service was nice and the cashier explained everything we had questions about!! the place was nice and clean pretty empty not really any costumers we were there for like an hour and a half. they have no ranch or other sauces besides ketchup and barbecue and A1 sauce which weren't the best options. my boyfriend gives them a 4/5 but me honestly i give it a 3/5, pretty expensive and doesn't really have a wow factor besides saying you've been to five guys.

This place surpassed my expectations. We initially went to in n out but once we say the line of 20+ cars decided to go to 5 Guys across the street instead. This was my first time eating at one of these establishments and I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed it. The fries were made fresh, the vanilla shake was absolutely delicious and the burger was extremely delicious. The only complaint I could give at all was that the bread was soggy by the time I got home but that did not take away from the flavor. The staff was very friendly, polite and helped each other since there were only a few employees at the time. I would girly recommend this location. I just wish there was a drive through. :) Delish!!

My first time here. No peanuts

Ok, I am not sure why this place is receiving three stars when it should be five stars for the food that they make fresh, daily. This was my first experience at this location after watching a documentary on how they prepare their fries, that my husband showed me. We were impressed, and today on a whim, my husband suggested to come and grab some burgers and fries. Let's just say both of us agreed on how delicious the burgers were prepared I got the Workz bacon cheese burger without onions and my husband got the bacon burger with grilled onions and tomato. We both asked for regular fries and received almost a bag full of fries that were so delicious, we were definitely disappointed we could not finish them. It is a bit pricey but you will definitely not be disappointed for both of our meals we paid $33. Again it was totally worth it and we will be back. Luckily this location is so close to our home I'll be ordering and picking up to surprise my husband with more delicious burgers on a monthly basis.

Really enjoy Five Guys Burgers & Fries. I was shocked for a Friday evening nobody was dinning here in the early evening. My order a little bacon cheeseburger with the works - grilled onions, bell peppers, mushrooms and a variety of dressings. We went with the large Cajun fries and the order was gigantic. My burger was delish, I ended up taking a hot dog and left over fries for mom who said the hot dog was yummy also. When I ended up leaving the place had filled up with customers big time.

Taqueria Los Gueros #3 - Salsa bar.

Taqueria Los Gueros #3

I went on a taco run yesterday to try to find the best taco in Whittier…read more Started off the run with a keto taco mixed with asada and al pastor and then a regular tripa taco. Keto taco - toasted/grilled cheese instead of a regular tortilla - needed to be done a little more on one side as the cheese wasn't quite toasty enough to stay in place to slightly resemble the shape of a taco. Bit hard to eat, covered my hands in grease. Asada tastes almost boiled, and this being my 2nd or 3rd time getting the Asada here, it consistently tastes like it was boiled and not grilled. Unsure of meat quality or preparation, but there are no grill marks and it's a bit chewy. Same with the al pastor. Tripa taco was bizarre. Strips of flat skin instead of the usual roundish, cylindrical shape of tripa (intestine). Usually a saltier, fattier meat than asada, which is my preference but the one here was lacking in flavor and the texture threw me off a bit. Tripa can be chewy - unless requested extra done, which is how I normally order it - but there was no saving this tripa. I think it needs to be sliced differently, the cuts made it inedible. Brother shared some of his chorizo taco and it was the better of the bunch. Red chorizo, TJ style, although it was also lacking a teeny bit in flavor... onions and cilantro to the rescue! Still, mediocre. Salsas were ok, nothing out of the ordinary. Don't think the tortillas were homemade. Service was fine, cashier takes your order, dude at the counter was chill and had a friendly attitude. Seating was limited. Mostly bar style seating but the majority was in front of a window and it had so much heat trapped from the glass that it was kind of uncomfortable. Other seats are too close to the bathroom. Good for a quick bite or just pick-up orders. Wouldn't plan a sit down/dine-in visit. Parking is scarce and has really small spots, wouldn't come if you're driving a pick-up truck or anything like that. Food was reasonably priced, which is good, however; the food was lacking so I would not return.

Being that this place is popular, it's definitely a good idea to order online and take it to go. Keep in mind I ordered around 12:50pm and the sandwich was ready at 1:45pm. I ordered the Spicy Gabagool Sandwich, and there were barely any mixed greens as compared to other reviews & the menu photo (I love my veggies)! The meats were yummy, but they did not stand out to me/didn't taste anything special. Unfortunately, the same goes for the bread. However, I did like the packaging of the sandwich and everything in the sandwich tasted well together; the chile spread, burrata, hot honey, pickled onions, meats.. the spice level is definitely tolerable; I didn't need water at all. It was more of a small kick. I also tried their lemon crumb bar and it was very delicious! If anything I would come again to try more of their unique baked goods. Overall, I enjoyed the ambiance of the shop. It is quite small and there are many people waiting for their order inside. There is only outdoor seating, which is scarce.

The chicken is juicy and flavorful, and it's a decent portion for the price. I also like that they have a lot of sides to choose from, and I usually go for the Brussels sprouts and jalepeno Mac and cheese. The plate also comes with a fluffy naan! You can pick 2 sauces to go with it, and my favorite sauce is the green sauce. I tried the garlic chicken plate once, but I prefer the regular roasted chicken. I haven't been in yet, so I can't speak to the service or ambiance, but the food is delicious!

This location is a little different, some of the menu & Happy Hour options vary, and it is much smaller inside, but they also have an outside patio to sit. The service was good, and quick. My daughter came for a specific sandwich that she loves, and said it was equally good at this location. I came for the chicken and waffles, I asked for tenders instead of bone-in chicken pieces, and unfortunately it was not as good as the Alhambra location. The battered coating is different and completely falling off of the tenders, the waffle was a little overcooked as well. The Alhambra location uses a panko crusted breading and it's so good and crunchy! I don't think I would return to this location.
