The part I love most is it's all natural, they cut their fries at the store and drop then straight in the fryer. Very clean, and service is always pleasing and with a smile. So I have never ate here, so I wanted to try it.Went there on the 4th of July and everything smelled great.I asked for a cheeseburger with ketchup, mustard, grilled onions,bbq sauce, and lettus.I also ordered a small fry and a small drink.My total came up to be $11 something.Half way through my burger,there was no more meat so I was stuck eating bread and everything else that came on it.I checked my receipt and they cashier put in a little cheeseburger.I ordered a regular cheeseburger, the one for 7 something because I was really hungry LOL.The fries were soggy and it was definitely not a good first impression.NOT WORTH $11!!!! My burger was cooked perfectly medium and they managed to put the 37 toppings I requested on my burger (okay...maybe not 37). The burger was made to order. This place redefines "fast food." We are Five Guys fans and so when visiting Savannah we thought we'd grab a quick burger and some shakes. The restaurant was grossly under-staffed. Since coming in, we have so far waited 50+ minutes and had we not committed to an online order from the back of a stagnant line, we would have left. We ordered (and paid for) shakes only to learn their machine was out of order. People were leaving the restaurant in frustration and we still haven't gotten our food. The kitchen was poorly run and our order sat in the kitchen behind the counter and they would not give it to us until we asked. It sat there getting cold while the order waited for milkshakes they said would never come. I feel bad for the workers, but it's an unacceptable customer experience. read more

I ordered a bacon cheeseburger which first was $2 overpriced from any other Five Guys store which was really no problem because of the location being conveniently near River St. But I received the wrong order and got a regular hamburger instead, which also was missing the toppings. Mind you after tax it was $11.22 for one single item so I wanted to make sure I got what I ordered. I told the cashier and offered to show him after I first realized. They were prompt to take care of it but the young male fryer/griller in the back turned completely around to give me the side eye every chance he got, although it was initially his mistake on my order. I gave them the ticket back that clearly said "bacon cheeseburger-- all the way" and they took care of it. Everything else about the store was fantastic. I just got bad energy directed at me from the employee in the back which was very strange and made a kind of unpleasant visit. Awesome, juicy, messy cheeseburgers! This is the way I like my burgers. The free peanuts are also a plus! We get the large fry (its big enough for 4 adults and 2 teenage boys) and get a side of the cajun to mix in the ketchup. It turns out amazing! Again, the burgers here are awesome and amazing! I am sure they are loaded with calories so if your on a diet beware. We stop here on our way back to Pooler GA from the beaches in Hilton Head SC. read more

Best Burger place I've found in the south. In & out rules the west coast. Awesome burgers cooked to order with the toppings you want, then they give you the order of fries you wanted, and scoop up a cup of fries and dump them in the bag. I have Celiac and have found Five Guys to be a good, safe option for me. I had the jr. cheeseburger and a small fries. The staff were very conscious of telling the cook line that it was an allergy order. Food was delicious, and I didn't get sick. Thanks for a great lunch! read more

What a Burger! These are awesome. Everything is so fresh! I ordered the small cheeseburger (one patty instead of two) and the choice of "free" toppings is amazing, I got just about everything on it. I also ordered the spicy Cajun fries which tasted amazing with malt vinegar. The fact that the bag was completely soaked in grease did not bother me one bit. I just feel like a good juicy burger once in awhile. My taste buds were singing. The meat is very fresh and never frozen they brag about not having a freezer and you can tell. The fries are local and made fresh every day as well - they even list where the potatoes come from! read more

When I went, the location had a wait time of roughly 30 minutes for a burger (not the line, just the wait time after ordering). The staffing was very inadequate and it was during a very common high-traffic time. Furthermore, when I've been to other five guys locations, it's always seemed common for the French fries to be overflowing from the bag (or, at least, from the cup). At this location, the fries were only filling about 75% of the cup they came in. I'm not sure if that's a new five guys policy, but it was certainly different than past experiences at the chain. read more
