Hotdog with fries
Monique Y.

Ordering was super simple. There was no line when I arrived. Cashier was friendly. Food was served hot and fresh. I ordered a hotdog that was nice and crispy...the way I like it! The bun was super soft. Restaurant tables were clean. Peanuts were available and so was coloring!

Order via uber eats, super easy! Arrived quickly. Order was correct and food was hot! YUMM-O I had the bacon hamburger on lettuce instead of bun and a medium Cajun fries. So super good!

My first time at five guys, and I am not impressed. I had to clean my table and seat off before I was able to sit down and even then i was distracted by the dirty floors and flies all over my food. I also got 1 cheeseburger and a small fry with no drink ($21)..... I would like to see the cleanliness in this place improve if I ever consider paying $21 before tax for a single burger and fries.

Five Guys on Bay Street in Savannah is a well managed Five Guys location that is a good place for all things quality burgers and fries. They have been consistently good each time I have been here and have worked well to get everything together quickly. The staff here is very efficient and provides excellent customer service.

Visiting Savannah for the first time, our tour guide recommended that we check out Crystal Beer…read moreParlor, and boy, did she steer us in the right direction! Since we were visiting during Oktoberfest, we decided to try the Jäger Schnitzel, and it was absolutely delicious! The portion was generous and easily big enough to split between two people. For dessert, we ordered the peach cobbler, and I'm not exaggerating when I say it may have been the best I've ever had! The warm peaches, crunchy crumb topping, and scoop of vanilla ice cream were an absolutely heavenly combination. I'm still thinking about it! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making our first visit even better. If you're looking for a laid-back, classic beer parlor atmosphere with delicious food and great service, this is the place to go. Whether you're a local or just visiting Savannah, I highly recommend stopping by

My husband and I stopped by Sunday for lunch. The hostess was nice, got sat immediately, our waitress was nice and helped us decide on some gluten free options. They had lots of drink options, we both got a cider. They were ok. The food however, I don't get the hype. The crab dip was basically just cream cheese - wayyyyy too creamy, we couldn't finish it. Portions are huge too. The burger, dry and crumbly. No sauce. It was underwhelming and I wouldn't recommend. Now that we've been, probably won't be back. Inside was clean and they have their own parking lot which is a plus though.

These are a must try if you like wings. Chicken and pancake tacos were delicious. Pancakes had a touch of sweetness. Fried chicken inside with a spicy mayo. Topped with a strawberry salsa that worked well. 3 of these were very filling. Fun and very good. Son had the double wide footlong. Topped with sloppy Joe. After that the 2 sides were different. One had fried banana peppers. The other side more classic with toppings. Son said it was really good. Others had the ahi tuna salad. Tuna was perfectly rare. Salad was good and the wasabi dressing had great flavor without being too spicy. Service was quick even though jam packed. Also very friendly.

The whole place is designed to feel like the inside of a trailer--spray-painted antique chandeliers, old pictures of different trailer parks, and random little details everywhere. It's kitschy, but very intentional, and honestly pretty cool. We came in late after a 4h drive into town after work, and the staff was still super friendly and accommodating. No "we're about to close" energy, which I appreciated. We started with the creamy collard dip, which is basically their take on spinach-artichoke dip, but with collards. Really good. I do think the chips were a little too heavy for the dip--a thinner chip would've been perfect--but that's a small note. The chicken pancake tacos were probably my favorite. The chicken was fried perfectly and still really moist. And at this point, I'm convinced Savannah just knows how to cook chicken. Everywhere we went, the chicken was consistently good. My partner got the grilled apple pie sandwich, which has fried chicken, grilled apples and bacon. He's not even a big pork person, but that bacon was so crispy and the whole combination just worked. Even the waffle fries were good--crispy, fresh and actually seasoned. We had the Grateful Dead and Wicked Kiwi cocktails, plus a couple of shots, and the drinks were strong, good and reasonably priced. Honestly, I don't have a ton of notes here. It's not trying to be some elevated dining experience. It's just a really good late-night spot with good food, strong drinks, friendly service and a fun atmosphere. We sat inside because Savannah in August was not about to have us sitting on anybody's patio. Definitely recommend, especially if you're looking for somewhere to eat late. It was a vibe, the food was good, and it did exactly what it needed to do.

The eggs benedict was delicious as were all the plates we ordered. Classic breakfast, hash-all great! We were a party of 6 and Zach was our very personable & attentive waiter. He was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions about the yummy menu items. Everything arrived timely and hot. It was fun to be there on a Sunday morning to hear the 11 o'clock celebration as alcohol, in my case mimosas, were legally allowed in the city. Lively music, lights and bells were rung to signal the start. So fun!

The hubby and I got in on a Sunday night without a reservation. Rather than a long wait, we were good with sitting at the bar. Hubby's lemon herb chicken was excellent. I tried it and the roasted semi boneless half chicken was tender and delicious. It was accompanied with garlic fingerling potatoes, charred broccolini in lemon chicken jus. After a long day of travel, I needed good protein so the Collins Burger was a fine choice. It's a double smash, sauce, chopped bacon, and crispy shallots. Cooked well, juicy, and just all around excellent. Had a sip of the hubby's sangria and wow! Probably the best one I've tasted. The vibes here are chic and upscale. In the evening/late dinner hours, it's dark lighting. Service was top notch. They are actually known for their brunch which I would love to try if visiting Savannah again!

You can order online for pickup while you're seated at Two Tides sipping their amazing sour beers, which is such a great setup. The patty was nice and crispy, flat, and well seasoned, and the Crispi sauce really makes the whole thing. That said, my patty melt had a few misses: the bun could've been toasted more, there was way too much sauce (it was practically drowning in it), and my patty didn't even cover the bun. The onions also needed to be caramelized more. The potato stix on top gave it a nice crunch though, and overall I still enjoyed it. They offer a gluten free bun for +$2, which was a nice option -- quality, soft bun, and both my husband and I got our burgers on it. His double patty was even better than mine, with tons of meat. We were both stuffed by the end. Overall a solid stop if you're at Two Tides -- would go back and probably ask for less sauce next time.
