Well, it's not In-N-Out for sure.....makes me miss living in Vegas :( Burger itself is OK - the bun is really nasty, soggy and really just BLAH. Fries are cut too thick and are droopy. Everything is super greasy and I have a gut bomb now. I guess I'll just have to start emailing and calling In-N-Out on a weekly basis to beg them to come to Oregon!! Food was great. Good value. One problem : There was a guy sweeping the floor on the dining room. They need a Swivel Sweeper or something similar because open sweeping creates a lot of dust in the air. So I sneezed. Then I couldn't taste my food as well due to an allergic response from the dust. Hands down, the best burger in town!

A change of pace burger joint, it has it's theme of free peanuts and fresh cooked burgers to be topped anyway you want with quite a variety of toppings. the drinks and fries were as much as the burger itself which was no surprise, the cost was on the pricy side of things for a cheese burger that, while made with all the unlimited free toppings you want, for me did not affect the taste very much more than any burger grilled. I asked for hot sauce and jalapeno expecting a spicy burger, but the burger was anything but. Fries were fresh but way overcooked and way overpriced. The service was meh, typical. Typical for a fast food joint (slightly better than In and Out a California fastfood chain, but also on the pricy side). You can make a better hamburger and fires at home. Initial review: I like the free peanuts, but the fries are over salted and the burger--despite mountains of hype--is nothing special. I've been told that the Lancaster location is better. Don't know if that's true, but I've tried this one twice and I'm unlikely to return. Update: Despite my misgivings, I did return. The fries are still over salted and the fountain drink machine has a poor syrup mix so every drink I've had--there's a lot to choose from--doesn't really taste all that good. Excellent burgers just what you expect from a burger place they know Burgers and fries plenty of add-ons like cheese lettuce tomato onions grilled or not grilled and I think they have mushrooms if you like mushrooms on your burger. read more

Massively frustrating. Phoned to get the one meal that my sick kid wants. The counter dude says hang on I'm taking an in person order, I'll be right with you. He then puts the phone down somewhere and proceeds to chat with some friend for 3 minutes about that guy, his weight loss journey, how much calories something has, how he worked out at the gym, whatever. I finally start saying hello hello hello into the phone but nobody ever picks up or hears me. I finally hang up to try and call back. But then of course the phone won't take calls. I called back 15 times--nothing. So then I had to drive here and then stand around and wait for the order, which is precisely what I didn't want to do, because my poor kid is not feeling good. I explained all this to the young lady at the counter. She was polite. You would've thought I would've been offered a discount or something. Not planning to come back anytime soon. For $18 for a burger, fries and a shake, they could try a little harder. read more

I will admit in advance that burgers are my thing: I've eaten many! This place serves a very fresh and delicious burger, maybe even as good as my home cooked, and their fries are the bomb - love Cajun! But what also gets my attention is how clean it is. When I see a clean place like this you know the people that work there care. On occasion we've even had their hot dogs and they REALLY GOOD as well, but my daughter loves the grilled cheese. Some folks like to compare this place to in-n-out burger. . . problem is, they can't possibly. . . Five guys to in-n-out is like comparing apples to oranges, they are different styles of atmosphere and burger style. . . the burgers are tasty although you always feel ultra guilty for ordering a bacon cheese burger because of the calories listed on the menu. Their fries though, are, some of the best i've had in a burger place and their cool Coke machines are a draw for folks. The con's is that it's a tad expensive but there is a higher quality here so maybe that's the reason. read more

This is one of my favorite places places to eat in Salem. The Cajun fries are the absolute best particularly because they make them to order and the burgers are always juicy and you get 20 toppings for free. The shakes are above average but not the best but it's a fast food place. Staff is usually pretty friendly and fast to get the order out of you. this is an over priced burger and the Managers have their heads up their asses. I think the girl that was managing at the time of my last visit was too stoned to care. Every time I have a Five Guys little cheeseburger my heart and stomach sing "DAYUM, DAYUM, DAYUM." This is how a cheeseburger is supposed to taste. It's the perfect size, and ingredients are fresh. I love this place and wish there was one closer to me. I drive 30 miles each way from Albany just to get their fries. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Food is always cooked to order including fries which is awesome. Gf will get mad if I go without her. She likes being able to get a burger with what she wants on it. The small burger is single patty where a regular is double patty. It would be hard to see getting a large fry as a regular is quite a lot. They fill the cup with fries then the bag, I just eat the fries and we share the regular and that is plenty. The fries can get a bit soggy but that is why you start with them, they are cooked long enough and that is just the nature of fresh cut fries that are actual potatoes and not a bunch of ingredients. Depending on the fryer sometimes the fries come out a bit crisper, which I prefer, but I have never had ones that weren't cooked enough and I am not too shy to get a refund if the fries aren't done enough. read more

Terrible! Burger was flavorless - The meat was pathetic; two patties put together not even cooked with any type of pride or expertise or seasoning, no flavor, cheap cheap meat that you might not even feed a dog. The toppings were nasty - fully loaded is a joke - it is more like a fully loaded garbage can overflowing when the trash company is late a day or two to pick up holiday trash. Then the grilled onions - diced - I mean come on; real grilled onions are not diced. Iceburg lettuce - need I say more. The rest blended into the nothing that was the terrible burger wrapped in foil. Fries - let's talk about natural fries for a second. These limp mini natural cut fries had barely any salt except the packets of which had no flavor or taste to it, no flavor except the peanut oil to mask the lack of freshness and not even crispy - more or less pathetic also. The environment of the restaurant is nothing more than an All American 50's diner minus the atmosphere and the turn-style fast service of a McDonalds. Ketchup was pathetic and where was the fry sauce? At least they had vinegar to kill the stank of the food. Also for the price I would have liked to save the money and buy something worth my time and experience. What a disappointment, I truly recommend not eating there if you have any sense about you and have ever eaten anything above Wendy's quality of food. Beyond a huge disappointment. Avoid this place like the plague! It's nothing more than a concept restaurant for college students who are finished drinking at the dive bar and also people who are willing to settle for a McDonalds experience at twice the price. Disgusting and no I am not exaggerating. I have been around the food block for a while and consider myself an authority on what is tasty goodness. This my friends is purely not! And sorry for the disdain but I am truly disgusted by this place and their food. Save your money!
