You can eat inside there or there's a shaded outside eating area between the bar and the food cart. I went with the Slangers Style burger, which comes with white cheddar, smoked Oaxaca cheese sauce, Slangers Sauce and fried pickled red onion. I got mine with two patties. This burger was unctuously rich and super saucy. I think, for me, two patties was a bit much. I removed one of the patties and the flavors of all the components came through a bit more pronounced and balanced. So, I would stick with one patty on my next visit. Because I dislike wasting food, I also ate the extra patty by itself, and it was great and well-seasoned. The fries were delicious as well: hearty with bits of potatoes skin and fried to a perfect crispness. I will absolutely be back as this is one of the best burgers I've had in Salem!

Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and the fish practically melted like butter in your mouth. You can really taste the freshness. The restaurant itself was clean and nicely decorated, creating a fun atmosphere without going overboard or feeling obnoxious. Even the bathrooms were clean, which is always a plus! It is a bit on the pricier side, but the quality and freshness of the sushi made it feel worthwhile. We didn't get a chance to try the hibachi side this time, but if the quality of the sushi is any indication, I'd be surprised if it disappointed.

Their ciders are great, I tried the Viking Cherry Cider and loved it so much I bought a six pack to take home, at $18 for 6 it was still absolutely well worth it. For food my coworker got the Fish and Chips, deep fried in beef tallow for those who avoid seed oils, and said it was excellent. I had a caesar salad and fries to go with my cider and it was a lovely meal. This will absolutely be one of our go-to spots when in Salem from now on.

I was thrilled to find that the scotch eggs were not only delicious but also authentically prepared. The yolk was soft and slightly runny, and the crust was perfectly crisp and flavorful. This establishment is a true hidden gem. While the food prices are a little steep, the quality definitely makes it worthwhile. We will be back!

I didn't get the impression this place makes it's own beer as all I saw was guest taps... which is okay because the list was quite large. Looking in Untappd it does look like they indeed made their beer at one point and time and maybe they still do... I just didn't see any on the list. So tsking my own advice and drinking smartly I got a root beer here that was also on tap along with the beer. I don't recall who exactly made the root beer but it was from a brewery and some craft breweries make absolutely fantastic craft sodas and this one was very good! The place seems to have spacious seating but placing orders up at the front counter can get congested. This place is in a cool spot so despite not finding beer I still walked away from it feeling it was a positive experience.

The service was epic! Our waiter had a great personality, and handled our big, loud group with ease and grace. The timing on the dishes and drinks was impeccable. We felt well cared for, and I felt celebrated. The food was delish. We loved the fondue as an app, I think we ordered two, and some oysters. Everyone enjoyed their main courses, I loved my goat cheese dumplings. A few of the guys mentioned smaller servings, but I prefer quality to quantity, so maybe just order another entree‍. Bottles of wine were reasonably priced, which I always appreciate. Thanks Clink! for giving Salem a beautiful place for celebrations. Trying the happy hour next...

This place is too lovely to have anything less than a fine dining service standard, and right now it barely hits upscale bistro. Honestly, there are dive bars in Salem with far superior service at this point. I want this restaurant to do well, I'm genuinely excited for it. But there's an immediate barrier: guests have to walk through the lobby, then up a staircase or an elevator all the way in the back, with very little way finding to get you there. It also lacks experience, and that's exactly what diners want these days. People are more likely to go somewhere like Fogo de Chao or Korean BBQ because it delivers a full experience. Right now this place can't even provide exceptional service, let alone experiential service. There are some real barriers this restaurant group needs to solve for long term success.

We get seated and drink orders taken. I decide on the Patty melt, the other girl on the crew gets the fish and chips and another guy gets some sandwich thing, I forgot what it was called. The food took a little while to come out but we weren't in any rush this time, so no biggie. My patty melt was cooked as ordered, medium and the fries were crispy and hot. The rest of the food looked good and no one was complaining, so that's a good sign. We all munched our food down and left happy. Now, back on the road again ... as the song goes ...

It wasn't crowded when I arrived, around 3 or 4pm. Service was very friendly and relaxed. It had a comfortable, friendly vibe. It seems this place has a lot of regulars, because a couple groups came in after me and were greeted by name. It was Tuesday, which meant the Happy Hour menu was available all day. The prices were quite reasonable, and we got plenty of food. We ordered the Korean Street Tacos, and Curried chicken lettuce wraps and the cheeseburger with hand cut fries. Everything was delicious. The Korean tacos were a nice mixture of fresh veggies and rich meat flavors as well as some heat. The wraps were generously filled with a great classic chicken salad with curry, and had a great crunch. The burger was juicy and rich, was a good size and had a yummy brioche bun. The fries were cooked well and the ranch was creamy with a dilly kick. This was some solid food at a great price. Apparently Tuesday is trivia night, but we left before that started. This is a great place for some great food. I can see why this place has regulars!

Cozy and not too loud. Their specials menu of select food and drinks was nice, but I was a but disappointed to learn that the only non-alcoholic offering was a canned golden beer (and soft drinks, water - haha, per our server). They did have a decent selection of draft beer. I shared that many restaurants are offering mocktails and that they're missing an opportunity there. The table ordered a sampling of the menu; Korean tacos, Caesar salad, Mac & Cheese, Burger and fries, and Lettuce wraps. Drinks included strawberry lemonade, draft beer, wine, and ice tea. The Korean tacos were good, but not excellent. I think the shell could be improved upon, maybe a fried won ton? Maybe some chili sauce on the side? The Caesar salad was very good, but the mac and cheese was bland and disappointing. Overall it seems like they're working through some kinks. The server could've used some help, as he seemed to have the only one working all of the tables. No ketchup on the table for fries or offer of any. A condiment station might help, but the place is relatively small. I'm glad we stopped in and will certainly give it another shot. It's nice to have an affordable family friendly spot in Salem and I wish them the best of luck!
