Bacon Cheeseburger, Cajun Fries (hand cut and crispy) and all the peanuts you can eat!! They promise Fast, Loud and Fun and they deliver! You get what you want on your burger, from fresh to grilled options! It was clean and the staff was friendly. There was no one standing around doing nothing. My favorite burger these days. Excellent price and excellent service. It is also a very clean burger joint. I mean McDonalds is the one overpriced for a dried out tasteless burger. When you want one, just come here and get your fix. Cajun fries are really good. As a business traveller to the Washington DC area, I was really excited when Five Guys opened in the DFW area. They put a nice spin on their chain status by proclaiming they are "famous" and featuring wall art consisting of quotes from places like The Washingtonian or the Roanoke Times. Here's a suggestion: why not feature Local quotes from Yelp for each local restaurant? It's Yelp reviews that drive business. Not a 4 year old quote from a newspaper across the country. Here's what I like about 5 Guys: Good burgers, great fries. The "little" burger option is fine. You won't feel cheated at a1/4 lb. the regular burger is 1/2 lb., which is more than most need, especially since you want to save room for their tasty fries. They do have a little peel on them, which I like. They post each day where the potatoes in that days fries where grown. How many places care that much about their fries? Another nice touch is the fact that all toppings are free, like grilled onions, mushrooms, etc. Try something new for your fountain drink. They have 24 flavors to pick from, including flavored dasani water and a lite lemonade. enjoy! read more

I've eaten there on two occassions, about 6 or 7 months apart: first time was lackluster at best, second time (thought I'd give them another try) convinced me not to return. Unpleasantly greasy burger (the bun was completely soggy from the dripping) made of tasteless, overdone beef - I don't think it was seasoned at all. Toppings were the only edible part, and they were just passable, overcooked, and slapped on the burger without any attempt at all given to presentation - completely unappealing. I don't get the loyal following or the 'awards' they so proudly display at all, especially considering the price, which wasn't exorbitant, but overpriced for what was delivered. Five Guys is absolutely amazing! Both their fries and burgers are delicious. I only ordered the junior cheeseburger, but others in my group ordered the standard bacon cheeseburger and vegan burgers. They all said they were the best burgers they've ever tasted. I love that you can watch the employees make your burger. I also love that you can choose absolutely any topping(s) you would like free of charge. The only reason I give this location 3 stars is because sitting down to eat inside is really cramped AND personally, there are other burger joints (Mooyah) where you get an amazing burger/fries for almost half the price. read more

Great burgers, but our "large" fry had barely a potato peaking above the rim. Our small fry was about 3/4 full. Five guys, why have you forsaken us? Hi, I would like to formally complain again your location. My fiancé came into the store and placed an order. He ordered a large bacon burger extra cheese and came back home with a regular cheeseburger. I understand mistakes can happen, so I called in and asked to get credited to my card for the the bacon only. They also left some of the topping requested off both burgers!! The guy who answered was rude, placed me on hold and then came back and said he can't help me unless I drive all the way back in. This store lacks customer service. It would be different if I were rude, but I was nice. He didn't offer any other solution except me driving miles back. I guess my transplanted East Coast coworkers may have talked Five Guys up a bit too much. It was acceptable but not really as good as I expected. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was how ridiculously noisy it is. The open kitchen concept is part of this but also their ordering method ratchets the noise level up too. The workers shout out greetings to every customer that walks in, once you order the cashier shouts your order back to the cooking area and then once orders are ready the kitchen staff shouts out the order number and contents to get you to come up to the counter to get your food. This is extremely distracting when you are trying to enjoy conversation with your table mates. The burger was good- getting grilled onions and mushrooms are no additional cost was nice. I wish I would have known that the standard burger has two meat patties- yuck! I just took one off and then my burger was great! Fries are pretty good but you can only get orders in Huge and crazy huge! The portion is more than enough for two people to share but I don't like having to pay a minimum $3 for fries. Plus if you go to get a quick bite by yourself- it's a major waste for just one person. I was impressed that the restaurant was very clean which takes a lot of work for a fast food joint. read more

I just happened to be in the area during lunch today so I decided to give them a try. I wanted a turkey burger but they don't have them. "Sad Face" so I ordered a regular burger (2 patties) no cheese with mushrooms and grilled onion lettuce tomato. Order of Cajun fries. The fries were very good. They tasted like real fried potatoes. Which is somewhat unusual. The Burger was also really good. Best way to describe this burger is: it's like a homemade burger but with a twist. Is it the best burger that I ever had. Nope. Manager was excellent and super cautious of making sure there was no cross contamination of gluten with my food. Manager runs a tight ship with his crew, he had new hires and was very good about training and delegating duties to the others that had been there for a while so that they'd learn how to help train the newbies. I had never been here but my boyfriend insisted it was good. We both ordered a bacon cheeseburger, which were $7.99 a piece, to my surprise. Add a small order of fries and water cups and we spent $22 total. Wouldn't have felt like a lot of money if I didn't feel like the burgers were subpar to that of my mothers homemade train wrecks. I went to Five Guys with my boyfriend twice already and must admit it's pretty darned good. First time I went, I made the mistake of ordering a regular bacon cheeseburger. It's good but WAY too much food for me! My boyfriend and I shared large cajun style fries and barely made a dent in it. The cajun was a tad too salty for my liking. Second time around I got smart and ordered a little bacon cheeseburger which in my opinion isn't as "little" as it might sound. We shared a regular five guys style fries which was still too much fries. They made a mistake and put mustard on my boyfriends burger even though he had specified no mustard but they fixed it pretty quick so alls well. My next goal is to possibly try their hot dogs. :) Considering the price and taste, I'd definitely go back to this place. read more

Food was ok, service not so much. This was our first visit to Five Guys. There were about 10 people behind the counter and no one in line. My husband asked if they had combo meals and she said no it's burgers and fries and everything is ordered separately. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries and my husband got the same. When the food came out it was enough to feed 4 people. After later reading the menu closer I noticed they had smaller burgers. The cashier should have explained the burger sizes to us. She didn't even ask what size burger we wanted. It's not like they were busy. We ended up throwing away a huge paper sack full of fries and 1/2 of my burger. Half of our $30 went in the trash. What a waste of food and money! Lesson learned. IF we try it again we will get the smaller burger and share fries. Hopefully their employees will get some training on customer service! read more

My husband and I really like the burgers here. The meat has a great flavor, plenty of choices for toppings and they are cooked to order. The fries leave much to be desired though, the fresh potatoes are nice but the most of the time we manage to get fries with dark/black spots that taste bitter and have to pick around them. I'd like the option of "skinless fries" since no attention is given to the bad spots on the potatoes prior to cooking them. I also don't appreciate the cashier interrupting me to YELL out the order to the cook before I have finished ordering and then having to repeat myself because she couldn't let me finish placing my order before she blurted out the number of patties for my little burger and then does the same exact thing to my husband. My wife and i Stopped there on Monday 12/16 a few minutes before 11:00am and saw the sign stating the opening time at 11 so decided we decided to wait. We could see the staff all sitting inside in a booth eating. Then it was a minute after and they were all still sitting in a booth eating and acting like they had no worries. Another fella walked up while we were waiting and didn't want to wait so he walked over to panda express. At three after we walked back to our truck the staff turned the heads and saw us leaving then went back to there conversation. This time I was cut off repeatedly and when asked why they were acting like that we were told because we "called the back room" as if we knew the Google number was the back room. I spend a lot of money with you guys and to be treated like that AND to be shorted on fries is ridiculous. Why would someone give their hard earned money to someone that acts like that. I really think that we will be going to Mooyah in the future. The manager seemed a little concerned but the only resolution was to talk to the employees. That is crazy as well. A very expensive burger considering that there was nothing special about it. It was about as good as any other burger joint, but at twice the price. You do get a lot of fries but considering how many awards they claim to have won, not a whole lot different. The Five Guys hamburger is the closest thing I've found to In- N- Out's since being in Texas. It is heavy, greasy food so don't come here and expect to feel like working afterwards. (And it is a lot of food, so I recommend splitting your entire meal with a lunch partner.) The fries aren't anything like In-N-Out's but they do grow on you (heh, they grow ON you, get it?) I'm still more partial to In-N-Out Burger all around (I hear they'll be in Dallas soon!) but I expect I'll be giving Five Guys second and third chances to be my new best burger place. read more

Not impressed at all. My wife and I tried Five Guys last week for the first - and last - time. 1. I about had a stroke when the cashier told me how much our order (Cheeseburger, Single Bacon Burger, two med. fries, and two med. drinks) was. $28! We can go to a nice sit-down, homestyle restaurant and eat cheaper, including a tip (and get better food, as I was about to learn). 2. I noticed the peanuts to munch on while you wait for your order. I should have had some to tide me over until the very long wait for our order was up. 3. Even though the order taker repeated our orders back to us correctly, it was listed wrong on the receipt, and came out wrong, too. My wife ordered no mayo, catsup, or mustard, but bbq sauce instead. Well, they loaded it up with pretty much every liquid condiment they had...enough to cause her bun to disintegrate in her hands as she attempted to eat it. 4. My burger was pretty good - not great as I've heard people claim, and certainly not worth the high price. It wasn't the frozen patty that you get at most fast food places (though I would not consider this "fast" food), but the bun was pretty dry. Fries were nice thick cut fries, but very greasy and limp. I like my fries crisp. There were a lot of them, as they filled up the bag with fries when I picked up the order. Normally, I would have eaten all of them, but not these. I couldn't get half way through them, and honestly, my stomach was upset the rest of the day due to all the grease. When I grabbed the bags to put in the trash on our way out, they were soaked with grease. The drink didn't help to wash it all down either. Even it was a little flat tasting. Overall, WAY too much money for WAY too little quality. I only gave it one star because this site makes me put something there. read more

Worst hamburger ever. The burgers were a little bit bigger than a silver dollar. My wife's burger was ever smaller because part of it fell off before they put it on the bun. I had to ask them to remake mine. They refused to do it until I gave them my receipt. It was still wrong the second time. The three young kids working there could care less. So after hearing about this place one too many times, I ventured here to see what all the hype was about. The inside was nice. It's big and airy, with a red and white color scheme that was reminiscent of In-N-Out. It has an open kitchen so you can see the food while it's cooked. Lots of photos of awards and news articles on the wall. The whole area of seating next to the windows is pretty much unusable because during the afternoon it gets baked by the hot Texas sun and there are no blinds. The staff is friendly. So onto the allegedly incredible burgers. They certainly weren't bad. They probably get good reviews because the burger is somewhat on the greasy side, and grease makes everything taste good. The high fat patties are probably why my burger disintegrated right after I picked it up, so I ended up eating it all with a fork. The fry portions are fairly generous, which would explain the "and Fries" part. Not bad, but they have a somewhat bread like texture on the inside and are a bit too thick cut for my liking. The fries at Whataburger or Wendy's are still the best overall. The mushroom topping option is nice. The prices are pretty high for burgers that just aren't that amazing. McDonald's has the low tier Dollar Menu burgers, Whataburger has the amazing burgers, In-N-Out is good if you want something different, but this place is really nothing special and has no draw, especially at this price point. Free peanuts maybe? Also the fact that the smallest drink size was like $2.09 or something was really throwing me off. Did they really need to add that extra $0.09 cents? At McDonald's you can get a large for $1, and at QuikTrip you can get a bigger one for less. I mean, this is Texas where everything should be bigger right? Five Guys is cramping things up with their bloated east coast pricing and tiny drinks. This is not gonna work. Honestly I felt like I was wringing out my own pockets to eat here. I think I'll stick with Whataburger. You can get a #1 meal for $5.73 total and that includes burgers, fries and a medium drink large enough to give anyone diabetes. read more

Please don't go here!! If I could give this 0 stars I would. I ordered, while I was ordering the cashier took a phone call, he was super nice but still not very professional. They said their milkshake machine was "broken", I doubt it though. I paid about $13 for my food and keep in mind I'm a college student that is self employed so I don't earn much. My friend and I sat outside because it was super dirty in there and loud. I got my drink (which they were out of all coke products). We sat there for about 30 minutes, still no food. 45 minutes, no food. I went inside to check, nobody had hair food. Finally after an hour and 15 minutes with no food and sweat dripping we left. I never got my food and tried to get my money back by standing by the counter but nobody came to help us. So I wasted my time, hard earned money, and still ended up not getting my meal. So please please don't go here. I have never written a bad review but I believe that customer service and professionalism is so important in a business, and this place was the absolute worst I've ever been to in my life. read more
