I'm not sure any part of it resembled a true Chicago dog. The fries were McDonald's style, They were OK but not quite as good as McDonalds. My wife asked for cheese on hers. They slapped a piece of American cheese over top the fries. That's a first for me. The only good part of the experience came at the end. We were waiting for our check (no one told us you have to go up front) when a younger waitress came over and was very friendly, as was the owner who was there at the counter. The bill came in at an affordable price too. I don't enjoy giving such poor reviews, but I don't think it matters here. These guys obviously have a loyal, regular clientele.
