But otherwise, the staff moves relatively quickly and the store has plenty of seating. Overall great place to grab a midnight snack.

Most bowls are rice, greens, and/or beans based with various vegetables for toppings. Heartier than a salad but healthier than Chipotle. I've gotten lunch there a few times and have always been satisfied. My favorite bowl is El Jefe, which comes with rice, kale, black beans, corn, red onion, avocado, and a protein topping (I like the miso tofu but you can also get chicken). The bowl also comes with cilantro/lime sauce, which I do not get because it's very salty. That's my one complaint about Roots - despite their healthy ingredients, their bowls can get quite saucy and salty if you go with the default options. This particular location is well-staffed, so service is usually quick, but it can get a rush of students around 12pm.

Aside from that it was still yummy but I think I'll be going back to my regular order next time.

I'll simplify it, deep frying the bacon when there is a gridle just baffles me. While at work my coworker and I decided that for lunch we were going to order in. I let him pick and he chose here. I didn't argue, I just looked over the menu. I went with a bacon cheeseburger and a side of fries. Doesn't matter if you go with a small, it is still overflowing in the bag. Fries are you fresh cut variety, but I swear they use some of the smallest potatoes as they are not very long fries. Pair that with some ketchup and you are good to go. For my bacon cheeseburger I decided to top it with lettuce, onion, pickle, mayo and mustard. When I said they are heavy handed with these burgers, I swear that they slam these burgers around. Stacking the burger and toppings isn't that hard of a job, but when you finally open the foil around the burger it looks like they have done a pushup on top of the burger. That or after they wrap it in the foil it is they fold it so tightly that it is pressed. Needless to say, this is not the prettiest looking or appetizing looking thing. All that aside, it didn't taste bad, but it obviously wasn't the best burger in the world either. Even the fries were a bit of a letdown. Probably why I don't frequent this establishment much.

The work culture is amazing, and not only does it improve their job, but also makes the customers happier as well. Food is consistent like a five guys should be.
