    Cheeseburger

December 21, snowing out on a Saturday for lunch. First time here. A customer in front of me said the chili dog and cheeseburger is good so I went with that. Chili cheese dog with onion for $2.30. Perfect dog and very tasty. Cheeseburger with toppings is $4.70. Not a giant patty and that's what I expected, very good too! Friendly staff and place is a old Burger King from 30 years ago. I like it and will be back with the wife and kids! Steady flow of customers and drive thru so they must be doing something right. Only complaint if I have to have one is it's cold in here

Old-school establishment. Inside has not been updated maybe ever, but it has vintage charm. The workers were pretty friendly. Ordered some chili dogs with onions and fries. The hotdogs were good and the buns were soft. Chili lacked flavor overall, so next time I'd probably do sauerkraut. Hand cut fries. This place is exactly what you'd expect. Nice spot if you want something quick and simple.

Inexpensive place to grab a burger or dog. Came here for lunch and the staff was so friendly. Food wasn't spectacular, but better than the surrounding fast food places. Worth a try.

Their food is wonderful and inexpensive. The people are wonderfully nice. And it feels like you stepped back in time when the restaurant scene was welcoming and original. It's a wonderful sit-down restaurant and I loved the atmosphere. I had the chili cheese hotdog with onion and cheese fries, and my husband had a fish "sammich" with cheese and lettuce and chili cheese fries. We both loved our lunch and plan on going back soon.

You can't beat the price and quality of breakfast here. I sometimes go in here alone for breakfast just to have some alone time. My most recent visit I was greeted by a younger gentleman. I didn't get his name but he provided great service. French toast was light and fluffy and sausage was cooked perfectly. I'm not sure where else you can go and get a quality breakfast including coffee for 10.00. Don't sleep on this place, go get ya a good breakfast.

Simple cup of coffee. Just how I like it.

I really enjoyed my time here. I walked in and was immediately greeted by the owner. She was quite pleasant and offered a really big and genuine smile. I sat down and was offered a menu. The menu wasn't very large and I liked that. It was a true mom and pop spot and that was exactly what I was looking for. I ordered 2 eggs over medium, hash browns, and sausage links. I figured I'd have to wait a little while for my food. It appeared to be the neighborhood restaurant and it was packed with regulars. The staff knew just about everyone by name. My food came out piping hot and it was delicious. Not over seasoned and the eggs were just the way I liked them. This is a great home-style restaurant and if you want a delicious home cooked meal, this is the place to go. I'll be visiting in the morning for my final meal in Pittsburgh.

My sister and I saw reviews for this place, and based on the reviews we thought this would be an awesome experience! Yes, the food is cheap, it's a *fast food* hot dog and burger restaurant. Is the quality better than 5 guys? Questionable. The fries are totally better than 5 guys, I'll give them that. We ordered our food through the drive thru, turned the corner to get to the window and saw a rat trap right in plain view. Not exactly a good start. That made us want to just drive right past the drive thru window, but we chose to give it a shot anyway. My burger was decent, and like I said the fries were crunchy and fresh. Our total came to $14, just like it would have at Burger King or any other fast food place. Would I go back? Ehhhhhhhh, after the whole rat trap sighting I can't say I'll be recommending anyone go here.

I don't know how you couldn't like this place. It's clean, they have burgers, hotdogs, fish and even Breakfast. All of it is made to order and hot, the service was excellent and the PRICE! The price the price the PRICE!! $7.00 for 2 chili and cheese with onion dogs, fresh cut fries AND the drink!?! That's just insane. When quality meets affordability you get places like Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe. There needs to be one of these in EVERY neighborhood. I'm actually mad it's taken me my entire life to try this place. If there was a Denny's a eat & park and a Brighton hot dogge Shoppe on the same block I wouldn't need to go anywhere but here. It's everything you need and more.

Ordered 1 with everything 1 with ketchup and Chilli. Still gonna eat it .

It started in trying to go to the south side location but it was just a window, and I really wanted to experience the full outing so we doubled back to the strip and Larryville. Anyway - we sat down and were helped immediately by a very animated waitress with red hair? Place is very industrial - large signage and some tv's - kind of like a Buffalo Wild Wings. I ordered the double stack make your own with beef, regular bun, cheddar, bacon and burgher sauce. As my side I swapped for mac and cheese. The food came out fairly quick. The burger was VERY GOOD. Seasoned nicely, stacked high, and really just a solid burger. I added an extra side of the burgher sauce as well to dunk the burger in which was really good too. The macaroni was good - just wasn't hot. The cheese sauce was nice and flavorful, not bland at all Overall - I would come back here. And I would recommend.
