    Grilled Cheese Sandwich
    Gigi S.

I've been to this 5 guys a few times in the past. There are rarely any flaws with my meal or the actual place itself. I am native to this area and last night I just wanted a quick bite to eat but with better quality meat then a McDonald's or something. I got the Little Bacon Burger which I forgot to take a picture of since it was that good. I also got a small fry, which always comes which more than enough. Unfortunately, they were a little bit more on the crispy side. In the past they were a bit less hard/crispy. My partner got the grilled cheese and said it was very good. The milkshake I had gotten was just favorite part. I was a bit skeptical of getting one this time but I'm glad I did. It was candy crunch mixed in with Oreos. The service was amazing. Our order was took fast. Our food took a little longer than expected but they did have other customers! The ambiance and the environment was calm. It was a rainy night and not many came to dine in. It was clean and pleasant. I will be back again. Disclaimer - be ready to spend over $30.

First time here after a late ikea trip and we were craving for burgers at 9:30 pm! They were close to closing time at 10 pm, and we made it! Staff is friendly and didn't make us feel rushed. They jammed up the music so it seems like they're having fun making the food. We got it to go so we don't hold them up closing the place. Enjoyed some peanuts while waiting for the food. Freshly made burgers and hot crunchy fries is worth waiting 5-10 minutes for! I wish the fries didn't have so much salt on them, that might just be me. The burger is on point, as good as how I remember any five guys to be! Again, another great five guys experience.

Paper thin burger and only a half patty !

We have been going here every sunday for a long time. Over the past few months the burger patties keep getting smaller and small. This last time, the burger was smaller than a McArnolds patty. It looked like the patty was broken in half. More lettuce than burger here for the past few months. When you pay $9 for burger, you expect a meatier burger. Fries always satisfy.

Best burgers around, hands down! The burgers at Five Guys are better than Plan B, Prime 16, or any of the other chain burger houses in the area. They have lots of toppings available so you can build your burger the way you like it. The fries are really good too and a "large" fry order can feed a large family! The shelled peanuts offered free are a nice touch to hold you over while you wait for your order, but who cares, because you didn't come here for peanuts, right? There are only two negatives here. The first is that there is no liquor service. A burger this good screams for a craft beer! The second is the packaging. Even when you "dine in", they wrap up your burger in tin foil. I may be getting picky here, but I would prefer to receive it on a plate, even if it's only paper or plastic. The burgers are definitely worthy of better presentation! So it's 4 Stars for the best burgers around. Serve it to me on a plate with a pickle wedge and a nice IPA on the side and its 5 Stars for sure!

The staff was cool. Overall experience in this store was positive. Parking lot is somewhat uncanny but wasn't really a problem.

After dropping off my laptop, I got in my car and drove towards the Raising Cane's in Milford. Upon arriving towards the business the street to even enter into Raising Cane's is a hassle. It's a very busy intersection if you end up missing the turn on the main road. Upon entering this business, I was greeted by a young lady at the register and she was already very friendly, I gave my order and I went to go fill up my cup that I got with my "The Box" Combo. After that I sat down and waited for my food, It was a couple minutes but one of the workers was sweeping around the store so I sparked a conversation with them saying that I used to work fast food so I completely understand that they are just trying to keep the place nice and clean as the worker told me prior that she whipped everything down which I enjoyed. After that I was called up but my food wasn't there, so I just waited at the counter and the young lady that was on the register apologized to me about the inconvenience and I basically nodded and understood and let her know it's alright. As im waiting for my food to be given to me, I notice how the kitchen moves, the communication is a little lack luster which is unfortunate because I remember going to a Raising Cane's in Pennsylvania and the communication was on fire in that place. I feel like im giving them the benefit of the doubt since they just opened up recently in Milford. I was given my food and I went to sit down. Fries were cooked very well and crunchy for crinkle cut, which I enjoyed, a little salty but it was good when I dipped it in the signature Cane's sauce (Listen, hands down, best sauce out there). The texas toast was delicious as always and the chicken was decently cooked, one of which was a little hard to chew, but I had 3 good pieces which I couldn't complain about. Overall, I give this place a go around again and I will be returning when I come back to receive my laptop. Whoever actually had time to read this whole review, please please give this place a try, I know they just opened but just remember Connecticut never had a Raising Cane's so enjoy it while its there, the good reviews will potentially make Raising Cane's build more places around Connecticut, so try them out! -AJ

Growing up in a home with three sisters, Voll had several years experience of working in the kitchen as well as her parents' food establishments. After graduating with a degree in finance, Voll came up with an idea to open her own eatery. After some experimentation with her sisters in their parents' kitchen, it was decided that Voll's comfort food eatery would be exclusively dedicated to macaroni & cheese: a dish that most people have grown up with. The first Mac N' Out opened up at the Interstate 95 Northbound service center in Darien, with a standalone location opening in Milford the following month. The menu features at least 20 varieties of macaroni & cheese (from traditional to Mediterranean to Mexican) as well as "mac munchies", "mac wraps" and "Mac salads". Following the success of the first two locations, a take-out only location opened in Bridgeport in 2015. As of 2026, only the Milford location is still operating. I recently visited Mac N' Out with my younger son while we were in the area. It just so happens that my younger son's favorite food is Mac & cheese, so he was delighted to have lunch at an eatery that exclusively serves the classic comfort dish. We were so overwhelmed by all of the different toppings and flavor varieties. My son ordered the kid's portion of "Grandma's Mac" (white cheddar & American cheese), which came with apple slices and juice. I ended up ordering the "Fourth of July Mac" (Hummel Beef Franks, applewood bacon & cheddar cheese). This combo was very nostalgic for me, as my mother frequently made Mac & cheese with cut up Hummel hot dogs for me when I was a little boy. Both dishes were served to us still simmering in miniature cast iron skillets. The mac & cheese is very hot when it comes to you, but it's so delicious! I paired up my dish with a bottle of Foxon Park White Birch Beer. My son and I had a great experience at Mac N' Out and we would love to return to the future. There are so many more combos that we need to try!

Second visit here because I was extremely disappointed a month or two back from my first visit…read more Walked in about noon on a Saturday, the place was steady with takeout with no other guests dining in I was greeted warmly by the young lady working the front. Trying to stay safe and basic, ordered the plain macaroni and cheese, so I can get a baseline. I also ordered a fountain drink. With the tip it was $15 and change. I took a seat after filling up my fountain drink, and waited about 10 minutes for the mac & cheese As I'm waiting for my order, a Scooby Doo cartoon is playing on the not needed television in my left ear. From my right ear, I'm listening to the staff worker in the kitchen singing to what sounds like Italian music. Could've been Spanish music. A little bit disturbing, as the music and the worker were both quite loud Within 10 minutes, my order arrives. The cast-iron pan with the macaroni and cheese in it, a couple of napkins, and a fork. Now I may be old school, or maybe I'm missing something. Why can't this restaurant serve the food with a plate and a spoon for serving out of the cast-iron pan? I'm getting older. I'm not in college or high school anymore eating food out of a cast-iron pan. I actually like to sit down and enjoy a plated meal, whether at home or out paying good money. The only exception I could see would be grinders. But I want a plate here! And if you're gonna serve it in a cast-iron pan, I want a spoon. I was expecting a flashback to the awful mac & cheese I had last time I was here. Instead, I got a very creamy cheesy sauce and an almost al dente elbow macaroni. The serving was generous in the small cast-iron pan. I did find myself using salt and pepper, as I didn't taste any seasoning at all other than the breadcrumbs on top that I mixed in, with this order So I'm gonna stand with four stars, even though I almost want to give it another three. Thank you to the gracious server, without you, it would've been back to three stars. In closing, I drove an hour and almost 20 minutes down to retry this place. I went out of my way..... For future reference, for in door dining guests, it really would be nice to serve plates with the mac & cheese, and the cast-iron pan and maybe over a pot holder. A serving spoon is a must if you're gonna share this dish with somebody. Anybody older than college age will appreciate the plate or bowl to enjoy this meal from... trust me
